The Iron Heart
Character(s) are beginning to stagnate, and by stagnate I mean do nothing, which I guess is what that means. But I digress. I've always been interested in the Mines of Moria segment from the Lord of the Rings as well as the Ghost Ship mission from the oh so classic Republic Commando. Maybe not the later parts where the action starts ramping up and all the mystery goes out the window. I want to capture that.
Granted I have tried to do this in the past to varied effect I want to try it again. The thread I'm planning will take place in an abandoned ship, city (preferably underground), or maybe an entire planet though I'll avoid this if possible. The characters who take part in this expedition will have to uncover the mystery of why the place they're at is now practically empty, save for the remains of what used to be there. The degree of corpses left behind is open to change depending on what I'm thinking. I find it can be even creepier if there's simply nothing left behind rather than halls and halls of bodies.
