  • It's a big sword.
xzK108.png

  • Durasteel blade can block some kinetic attacks.
  • Sword is sharp and heavy. Cuts or blunt hits from it will most likely hurt.

  • At 1m60 in length, this sword is not easy to use without adequate training.
  • Even with adequate training, this sword will wear its wielder down if a fight is long enough.
  • The sword can withstand light attacks from lightsabers, but anything repetitive or strong enough will break it down.

Alwine Lechner was born on Stewjon, a planet that treated the farmer caste she hailed from like dirt, and treated the female sex even worse. To make her circumstances worse, she was also a Lupine, a shapeshifting species that went from human to wolf and back, and her family believing that they were the last of their species. Due to tensions and superstitions on Stewjon, the Lechner mother taught all her children to keep their species a secret and to never breathe a word of it to anyone. From a very young age, Alwine was prepped to learn her place of servitude. Head down, house wivery, and all of the works.

Alwine’s salvation were her brothers; [member="Gerwald Lechner"] and [member="Varick Lechner"], who were able to see beyond the gender limitations society on the planet placed upon her, and who out of love began to train her in secret at night, in the woods behind the family hut. The lessons happened as frequently as trio dared, weaving them in between their life on Stewjon and their need to take turns in prowling through the woods as wolves to keep themselves from going insane. Alwine adapted quickly to the lessons and she cherished every moment of them, finding her mind and soul free of the oppression of Stewjon while she trained with her brothers.

On Alwine’s fifteenth birthday, her brothers gifted her with a greatsword; they called it Der Kleine, or “the little one”, as a joke. Given the financial constraints of the family, the mere fact that they had spent money on having such a thing constructed was a huge surprise, and her heart filled with warmth realizing that even the sword’s construction must have been a well-kept secret, for they never asked to be seen with it anywhere after they gave it to her. The sword was huge, 1m60 in length, and heavy, and at first the siblings laughed about her one day growing taller than it. But she never did. While not training, Alwine kept the sword hidden beneath her bed.

After her and Varick’s extraction from Stewjon, Alwine only brought the sword and a handful of clothes with her. While she doesn’t use the sword too often these days, she will cherish it forever.
