Maneuverability Rating: 9
Speed Rating: 9
Hyperdrive Class: 5

Strengths:
  • Energy Resistant: Matrix armour plating provides a slightly better than average defense against energy weapons. De-ionizer aids in this when the ship is ionized.
  • Anti-Starfighter: The ship is spec'd to annihilate starfighter squadrons.
Weaknesses:
  • Ship v Ship: Weak against ships its own size.
  • Underside: No weaponry directly underneath the ship. Effectively a blind spot for the weapon systems.
  • Bridge: The bridge of the ship is clearly at the top in the centre of the ship. Easy pickings if focused.
Description: As head of Tantorian Industries and an Officer in the First Order's Military, it was made clear that there was a gap in the Navy in the form of Support Vessels. The Fleet being made up primarily of Star Destroyers, there was a need for the Anti-Starfighter Frigates to be born.

With standard systems and First Order patented weaponry, the area the ship succeeds in is with its forty-two quad barrels and missile system. Although the weaponry dolls out devastating damage to starfighters and bombers, ships above that size are usually built with the strength and resiliency to face off against the Denial-class without much problem. Its only weaponry that can actually deal damage to other starships of large magnitudes, are with its Despoiler turbolasers, hardhitting and damage that tends to have less spread, it's strength is a weakness in the fact that should the weapons actually strike against other ship's hulls, there'll be less collateral damage.

Armament: 14 4x Despoiler Turbolasers (One in every corner) 2x Pursuit Missile System ( One at the fore. One at the stern) (Front: Swarm/Cluster Ammunition. Back: Heavy / Larger Payload Ammunition.) 16x Quad Laser Cannons (Eight on top. Eight spread about the sides of the ship.)
We try not to get too involved or picky into gun math these days, but I'm not so sure that these armament ratings match the listed loadout. I count roughly 32 capital guns and 18 defense guns. And there's nothing wrong with that, but considering that an armament rating of 16 has 100 turbolasers, 20 warhead launchers, and 10 defensive guns, I don't think it's really close. I would say this is roughly equivalent to an escort frigate (30 turbolasers, 5 warhead launchers, 40 quad laser cannons), which has an armament rating of "5".

Feel free to either increase weapons count or lower the armament rating, but be advised that upping the armament rating to around a "14" level will require a massive drop in flight performance (probably around to 10 or 11).

Maneuverability Rating: 5 Speed Rating: 7

I think that this is a bit fast. A rating of "5" would actually be more maneuverable than our smallest corvette. I'd recommend the escort frigate standard here again, our fastest and most maneuverable standard frigate (the escort frigate), which has speed and maneuverability ratings of "8".

Upped missile system count from 2 to 6 and 16 quad lasers to 40.

But I like where the ship is at due to it being strictly used for Anti-Starfighter purposes rather than Ship v Ship.

Dropped Hyperdrive Class from 2 to 5, and Speed and Maneuverability to 9.

I believe I've done what's necessary.

Given the weapos route that you've chose, this is one of those times where I would split the armament rating into separate categories (typically it used solely in relation to other capital ships). I would list it as the following.

Armament Rating: 10 (overall)
versus Capital ships: 4
Versus starfighters: 16

This shows that it's a really good anti-starfighter ship, but it isn't the best suited for taking on other capital ships as per its description.
