The Moon of Na Shadda was a place of scum and villiany only matched by the planet it orbited, Nal Hutta. Here Chantra came between major jobs, for there was always someone who needed her services in the Criminal Hub of the galaxy. Her ship descended into city scape moon, this Anti-Coruscant bid her welcome.
The Chant landed on a platform where The Zeltron halfbreed made her eay in her white corset. He steps were seift and purposeful as she waded in the sea of faces, some of which eyed her with curosity. Her white hair flowed on one side as she came to a one of the many cantinas. Inside was all manner of sentients, Rodians with those bug eyes, Zabraks who’s horns made them seem regal, and many more. Taking a booth away from the bar where the flirts lingered, Chantra pulled up a datapad on her wrist when a Quarren sat in the booth with her. The Squid Head spoke basic,
“Lioness.. I beseech you to take my contract once more. My love is in danger and I need your services to eliminate her Master.”
Chantra lowered the datapad and clipped it to her wrist braclet.
“I told you before.. I do not kill Hutts. If you persist in pestering me further, I will add you to my pro bono list..”
The Squid in his desperation pleaded further.
“Have you ever been in love?! How can you turn your back on such a cause?!”
The Lioness drew one of hed claws, a vibro knife that with flick of her heeled boot came out of the toe, and she raised it unser the table and pressed it at his abdomen.
“Love is a madness.. it makes sensible people throw away their lives.”
The Quarran felt the hidden blade.
“Kill me then. I cannot love without her!”
Chantra sighed as she shook her foot, the blade moving aboit bis body beneath table.
“Then you kill the Hutt. If you succeed, you will be the walking dead. The Cartel will have assassins after you all of the days of your life, maybe even me which would be a day.”
The Squid Head continued his tragic entreaty.
“I would rather have a day, than all the days of my life without her.”
Chantra rolled her eyes. These poor souls think fufillment could be found in arms of another, and when the fairytale ended, when someone cheated or fell out of love, all that sacrifice was in vain. Love was the greatest con of all, the odds on the House of Heartbreak to win.
“Fine, if you will leave me alone. I’ll do it.”
The Quarran thanked her profusely as he stood up and The Lioness removed her bladed boot. As he went to buy a round of drinks she contacted The Hutts on her datapad. Ahe related the intent of this Squid Head, and contract came through kill him from The Cartel. As the Squid sat down with two glasses of Twi’lek Liquor. Taking a sip Chantra thrusted her bladed boot into his lower chest. The Squid gasped, she then struck two more times under table causing The Quarran to wheeze. Retracting her hidden blade she stood up and whispered in his ear hole,
“Love is battlefield, and you lost.”
She then walked to the bar and placed a gold coin while motioning to the booth with her head. The Bartender nodded and took the piece of payment, and the Lioness made for a room at the back where a Pazaak game was going on. She then made it out into the ally and back into the sea of sentients, her datapad pinged with three targets, all from The Cartel. One was a man in brown robes, A Jedi. This made her smile.
