- Description: The asteroid field looks very normal, the only weird part is that it seems to have no purpose there, being a dense field surrounded by empty space, it should have dispersed, but keeps clustered due to the gravity of the nearby gas giant. Resonance was once a planet, but the gravitational waves interfered with the kyber crystal that was in it, causing the planet to shake itself apart, hence the name Resonance. It was largely unexplored until recently as Demonsgate became a more busy system, at which time Galven Hansol took a team out to explore it, and discovered its kyber crystals and history.

Resonance Station is located in a large clearing with a large path out of the field. This spot was picked because of its proximity to the other outposts. There is a series of Satellite Force Field Shield Projectors that creates a safe tunnel out of the asteroid field. Shutting it down will allow the asteroids to close the pass, and Resonance will be impenetrable except by fighter sized ships.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Resonance was once a large rocky planet that had formed nearer to Demonsgate's star but was pulled out by the nearby gas giant. The planet was able to form kyber crystals due to two main reasons: the first was its size, it was the only other rocky planet in the system, and had taken more of the material; resulting in a planet three times the size of Alderaan. Then, the orbit it settled in caused it to shift places with the gas giant, making the planet stretch and squeeze itself, making the core hotter. Eventually, kyber began to form, and as the millennia went by, the planet became harmonically in tune to the gas giant, thus it began to shake and get hotter, a runaway effect made it shake itself apart extremely quickly in the grand scale, only 10,000 years.
That was over 100,000,000 years ago, and has been mostly undisturbed until the Age of Rebellion over 400 years ago when the Galactic Empire discovered it in one of their surveys. They discovered the kyber, and had plans to create a mining outpost, but with the Galactic Civil War in full swing, and Demonsgate so far away from the nearest Galactic Empire holding, they never got around to doing it. With the collapse of the Empire, Gulag Plague, and the 400 Years Darkness, the information of its existence was lost. It was only as the Underground (now the Outer Rim Coalition) began to grow did it become rediscovered.
Unclaimed, Hansol Mining Corporation decided to strip mine it for rare materials commonly found in asteroids and rediscovered the kyber deposits. Afterwards, they bought the area and set up Resonance Station as a commercial hub for the area. There is a multitude of outposts set up on major asteroids that have deep mines, most of the other materials are mined through strip mining with crawlers.
