It was lunchtime.

Actually, it wasn't. It had been an hour ago. Efret missed it, but she was eating now, and wasn't lunchtime whatever time you managed to have it?

Now she sat on a stack of cargo crates turned towards two flights of stairs that led up to the capital city. Field Camp Nu's long tent stood at her back. A meal container balanced in her lap as she took another bite out of a blue and brown steamed bun. When an armored man, one of the legionnaires who patrolled the area for her archeological team's security, approached her, set set her morsel back in the container.

"Master Farr," he began with a respectful nod. "You have guests approaching from the spaceport."

"Good," she replied. "Thank you."

With that, he moved past, leaving her to take one more bite of her lunch before moving it off her lap and wondering who was here. Hopefully, they brought an artifact or two.

Aiden was in truth to excited to think about lunch. He was happy to be out in the field again. The Padawan had been on Coruscant for too long and even more on Naboo looking after the homestead for a long while. It wasn't that he didn't like home, or Coruscant. Being out and about again like before was even sweeter. Granted he couldn't help but admit that he was even more happier since he was here with Jun Chiyo Jun Chiyo , giving everything they had been through in the last several months. He was growing incredibly close to her.

The departed their vessel and Aiden followed Jun's lead as he carried a large case, carrying a few artifacts.

They had been on the hunt for several weeks, archeological sites and artifact hunting.

"How are you holding up?" Aiden inquired as he glanced towards Jun. Showing her a small smile.

Finally, Jun was enjoying the greenery of a planet with a proper biosphere. She was lucky to peel away from her duties on Tatooine just long enough to visit her aunt Inhye Oh-chai Inhye Oh-chai in mountainous Adras before getting back to the dust and sand. Eiattu 6 was a much needed break, even if it was a border world close to Sith space.

She smiled at Aiden, so glad that he was her companion on this trip. After all, some of the artifacts they were delivering had come from their work in the canyons on Tatooine. Krayt dragon bones may not technically fit the NJO’s criteria for “artifacts,” but she was damn prou dot have found them.

I’m fine!” Jun said. “A little nervous, maybe? I think I’m just eager to meet Master Farr and show her these fossils. I know the Jedi Order wants Sith artifacts, but I think the Chief Curator will appreciate what we’ve found.” Even if not, there were other places to take the bones. Dagobah may have fallen, but the Forcers of the Outer Rim were resilient; there would be a place for the fossils -and her- soon enough.

"Ah, don't be nervous. I believe Master Farr will be very pleased with what you found." Aiden said with a smile. While he didn't say 'we' found. This was primarily her venture and task, he didn't want to seem like he was taking credit for any of this. In truth it was Jun's mind and her intuition that led them to these findings. Aiden just did his best to help and to not get in the way too much.

Aiden was intrigued by this planet, he had never been stationed here or even ventured this planet before. It bordered Sith Space, but that didn't bother him too much at all. It seemed everywhere had some sort of looming danger and he just did his best to roll with things and continue his own personal journey and task.

They approached a woman sitting on a stack of crates.

"Greetings! My name is Aiden and this is Jun, by chance could you direct us to where Master Farr would be?" Aiden inquired, no idea that the person he was speaking to was actually Master Farr, and in finding out he would turn a small shade of red.

Efret smiled knowingly down at Aiden.

Her hands made the coordinated movement for 'of course', which the clip at her neckline verbalized in a feminine voice after scanning her hands with a beam of green light. "Follow me," she continued before hoping down off the cargo boxes and starting to lead the way back to the field camp's long tent.

Its entrance was wide open, flaps rolled up and secured on the inner side of the shelter. From where she stood at the table that ran down the middle of the tent like a spine, one of Efret's archeological team members—a female Rodian—glanced up. She nodded at her, then at Aiden and Jun. "Kuvrat?" she asked in Rodese. "Nimoy."

Once inside, Efret patted the end of the table, then turned to help Aiden put the case up on the surface.

We found it,” she corrected with a gentle nudge. It may have been her assignment, but she certainly didn’t do it alone. She was more than happy to share the experience with him, and the credit.

Jun followed Aiden Porte Aiden Porte and Efret Farr Efret Farr into the tent where items were being collected. She couldn’t help but feel that their contribution was lackluster in comparison; everything on the table had some sort of Force signature that she could sense, but all she and Aiden had to offer Master Farr were dusty bones. Perhaps he was right and the Chief Curator would appreciate any help in the field. Or perhaps Jerec Draay Jerec Draay was right and the Jedi were only interested in recovering Force artifacts for their temple vaults.

Jun shrugged. It was too late to turn tail and take the bones to Sevarcos now.

She was a bit nervous to address Master Farr verbally, as she was unfamiliar with how the translator worked, but she cleared her throat softly and spoke openly. “I hope this is an acceptable find,” the girl said. She was quite proud of finding a krayt fossil in such good condition. “I have the coordinates of the site on my datapad, if you’re interested in following up before I do.

Jun hoped the last bit wasn’t perceived as a challenge. Seeing so much of her Aunt Inhye Oh-chai Inhye Oh-chai had begun to weather away at her courtly manners.

We found it,

"You give me too much credit my friend." Aiden said with a small chuckled. As they were led in and Aiden set the crate down. This was for all intents and purposes, Jun's show. He helped her out as much as he could, which really came to just packing and unpacking. He mused at the thought for a bit. As much aid and knowledge she has graced him with. What kind of person would he be if he didn't help in return.

And of course, the hidden reason. He enjoyed her company very much, he couldn't imagine being apart from her for so long.

I hope this is an acceptable find,

"Are you kidding? I'm sure its great!" Aiden whispered to her, while he knew she wasn't talking to him. Still, reassurance was something he provided in their friendship. Granted he might be biased as well.

"So what do you think?" Aiden inquired to Efret Farr Efret Farr , still slightly unsure as to who this person was.

Once the case was up on the table, the other Jedi undid the latches and pushed the top up. She gasped at the contents' quality. "Masta Farr..." she trailed off, still speaking Rodese but the cognate probably made it very clear what she had said.

Efret didn't seem bothered. "Oh," she replied first to the fact that the jig was up. "Is that who I am?" She glanced over at Aiden with a slightly mercurial look. Her behavior wasn't meant to be malicious, but just to have some fun. She extended a hand to place it gently on his shoulder, just to move it away and look into the case.

She turned back to the younger Jedi to sign, but Jun spoke first.

"Very acceptable. It's beautiful, my dear." Efret offered one of her warm smiles. "I'd like the coordinates, but follow-up excavation is all yours. I'm jealous. Most of our work these days has to relate to one of the wars." As she expressed the concept of we, she gestured to her team member as well as herself. "Thank you very much. Would you like to give it a name?"

Aiden chuckled lightly after he realized that Efret Farr Efret Farr was the person that he was actually talking to and not some other person.

"Forgive me, I tend to make foolish mistakes from time to time."

Aiden cleared his throat as he looked at the artifact again, he was happy that they could deliver something well. More so happy that he was able to help Jun Chiyo Jun Chiyo out with this item. Once again in truth he really didn't do too much to assist. She was the true mastermind behind all this, if anything he was just the muscle.

"Thank you very much. Would you like to give it a name?"

"I honestly don't know. What do you think Jun? It is your discovery." The Padawan said with a small smile.

Jun’s lips curled into a mischievous smile. “Well, I couldn’t have found it without your help,” she said. She turned her gaze to Master Farr and nodded as she said, “I want to name it Porte, after my good buddy here.” Jun patted Aiden’s shoulder, but she was all too serious.

What do you think?” she asked with a giggle. If he protested, she would of course offer a more scientific name for the fossil. But if Aiden was willing to let it ride, Jun was happy to name it after him.

I want to name it Porte, after my good buddy here.

Aiden turned a small shade of red at the mention of her insisting to name the artifact after him. Aiden chuckled lightly and after a few seconds he nodded his head as he looked over to Jun Chiyo Jun Chiyo

He gave her a gently yet playful nudge with his arm before looking to Efret Farr Efret Farr with a smile on his face.

"Well, you heard her." He chuckled again as he glanced back to Jun. "Thank you Jun, that means a lot." He said with a rare smile to his friend. It meant more than she would know.
