Del stands average height, and has a mildly athletic physique. She is quite well known for her friendly, cheery appearance and is rarely seen without a smile. Her hair hovers between being somewhat light and slightly red-hued, and is often thrown up into a messy bun atop her head. Delilah has little need for nice things; she tends to wear clothing that can stand up to a bit of wear and tear. However, she is most often seen wearing oil stained cover-alls.

Delilah Beckett has always had a penchant for mechanical things. From a young age she was fascinated by the inner-workings of ships, droids, and other techno gadgets. In her spare time she was usually found taking things apart, studying their bits and pieces, and then fitting them back together. Del entered into the mechanical trades during her teens, and after graduating she took an assortment of odd jobs. While these jobs were not glamorous, it turned out to be a great way to hone her skills and see the far stretches of the galaxy.
It wasn’t long before she began the search for something more stable and permanent. She had always had a special affinity for the TIE fighters, and Delilah found herself at the door of the First Order. Now, she had heard a number of dark things about the Order, but she was offered work and the opportunity to learn on the job. It was an attractive offer – one that she would have been stupid to turn down, right? Well, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of her life.
Delilah worked long hours, and during this time spent getting to see the TIEs and other Starfighters close up, she began to feel at home. As time passed, her work was recognized and appreciated, this lead to a very strong attachment and sense of loyalty to the First Order. She now leads a small, but efficient crew – her bond with them formed through camaraderie and mutual respect. Del would never ask a member of her crew to do something that she wouldn’t do herself. And often times, she is found working right alongside them.
