- Description: The Deilokin are an intelligent spacefaring humanoid alien species from the planet Deilos. They are known for their work in cybernetics and medical technology. Deilokin resemble humans almost identically. They are characterized by their three large fingers and three toes and backwards bowed legs.

- Diet: Omnivore. While the Deilokin are capable of eating both meat and plants, one of their beliefs is that the consumption of meat taint's ones body. Animals are filthy creatures, in their eyes, therefore meat is stricken from a Deilokin's diet. That is to say, one could eat meat, however they would be seen as an outsider among the Deilokin.

- Religion/Beliefs: The Deilokin follow no religion of their own. They see religion as a obstacle to progress. They do, however, have some customary beliefs. The consumption of meat, alcohol, or non-medicinal drugs was seen as shameful and would render one an outsider. Deilokin are an intelligent society. As such, achievements in the scientific field are respected above others. Those who teach others and share their knowledge are respected even more, shown by the many schools Deilokin have opened across the galaxy.
- General behavior: Deilokin way of life is fairly standard for a modern society. They live, breathe, and eat like others throughout the galaxy. There are many differences, however. Much of a Delokin's early life typically involves schooling. In Deilokin society, one is not considered an adult until they've finished school which is typically around the age of 21. As a technological society, Deilokin spend a lot of their adult life in science fields. One could find most Deilokin favoring cybernetics or medicinal fields as they contribute to the betterment of society the most in their eyes.
In the early years of Deilokin scoiety, the Deilokin were approached by the Republic to join them, which they did. The deilokin saw it as a way of learning about the rest of the galaxy while also sharing and furthering their own knowledge. They easily melded into Republic society, working as scientists and doctors across the budding Republic. Their homeworld, Deilos, was seen as a bastion of health in the Republic. A place to go where one could almost guarantee that anything that ailed them could be treated there.
This image of the Deilokin lasted until the galaxy was ravaged by the Gulag Virus When this happened, most of the surviving offworld Deilokin were called back to Deilos to try to find a way to survive the virus. This led to the creation of the Deilokin envirosuits. These suits, along with isolation, helped curtail the spread of the Gulag virus onto Deilos. Eventually, the Gulag virus died out naturally. By this time, the Deilokin had become so attached to their envirosuits, they had become part of their culture. Not as engrained in it as, say, the Mandalorians, but it was a large part of it at this point.
Since Deilos re-opened itself to the greater galaxy, the Deilokin have returned to their old ways of scouring the galaxy in search of knowledge and to help those in need.
