- ENERGY DEFLECTION | RESISTANCE - Due to the hardening process of the nails one can use their nails defensively to deflect Blaster fire and other energy weapon attack. Be careful though a large enough energy blast can take a whole hand.
- LIGHTSABER RESISTANCE - The substance after application is highly resistant to Lightsaber blades but like it's energy resistance it could fend off saber attacks. However since it doesn't prtect the whole hand it is very dangerous to attempt to fend off a saber attack.
- KINETIC RESISTANCE - Due to it's Hardening features it the substance makes Keratin highly durable to most basic Kinetic attacks. Yet again like most of strengths it is limited to Keratin areas only.
- HIDDEN WEAPONS - If one sharpens there nails to points due to the hardening process ones nails become claws able to scratch and cause damage much like a small pointy knife.
- ACID- Acid is the primary way to remove the nail polish and makes the hardening affects inert.
- SONIC DAMAGE - Can cause the nails to crack, break, and even shatter. This very painful to the wearer as it doesn't remove the polish but rather the complete keratin nail.
- GAMMA RADIATION - Causes the compound to break down and flack off from the nail the properties of the compound become inert in this process.
- ONLY WORKS ON KERATIN - This Compound only hardens Keratin so makes it application severally limited.
- ONLY MINIMAL SKIN CONTACT - The outer Layer of most vertebrates skin as Keratin in it, if applied directly to the skin it can cut off blood flow to that area and will close up sweat pores. Long enough exposure with out removal can cause Necrotization of the flesh in that area.
- In Certain Instance Blindness May Occur - Specific to species like the Gand who have inner eyelids made of Keratin. If accidentally applied to that aria (or on purpose) they will be blinded perhaps permanently considering the primary removal method requires acid.
A liquid that comes in various Colors that when applied to Keratin will dry and harden to a metallic like state. It Keratin exceptionally durable against various types of damage mainly Kinetic, Energy, and Lightsaber damage.
The Keratin, Vitamin H, and Fluoride all naturally strengthen the Keratin layers they are applied to. They aren’t the main driving force to super strength ones natural Keratin but they do help reinforce it and keep it health and able to withstand the other ingredients in the polish.
Phrik Dust is what overall gives the polish its durability. Phrik is a very strong metal capable of blocking and deflecting many kinds of energy even that of Lightsabers. Phrik is perhaps the polishes strongest component. Mixed with Liquid Alum and Phidna Blood it allows it to harden quickly when applied to Keratin both Alum and Phidna Blood themselves are highly durable substances used to harden other substances.
However, the main reason for this polish’s creation was not intended to be defense as it would be fairly weak for that affect considering it only affects areas of Keratin on the body. Though it can be used for very minimal defense it’s main purpose was designed so one could sharpen their nails finger nails (Or toenails) to be used as an easy way to conceal weapons that can’t be easily disarmed from the person.
