December News
We start off this festive month’s news with the Member of the Month announcement! It’s a nice tradition the previous administration started and we intend to keep it up! This one goes to [member="Six-O"], for his hard work and dedication to the faction! He joined us last month, and has had both great activity and shown a great attitude. With Roxuli he introduced the new “hazard” concept to dominions. This was also used on Ragoon VI, and I think we’ll be seeing more of in the future. Congratulations! He is awarded the Member of the Month bling. We have a custom item in mind, though we also have some follow-up questions so send us a PM about it and we can get it moving.
The first announcement of the new faction administration was put up a few days ago. In it we introduced the new Faction Administrators and Moderator, as well as our immediate plans and thoughts on faction leadership. If you haven’t seen it but would like to, you can find it here.
We currently have one ongoing skirmish with the Galactic Alliance! They have attacked Taloraan, and we are defending. The following links will take you to the IC thread and the OOC thread. If you’re looking for an easy-going and fun thread for PvP, feel free to get involved! It’s an open skirmish with no sign-up limitations.
Right now we have four ongoing dominions:
- Dominion of Phu (55 posts)
- Dominion of Roxuli (39 posts)
- Dominion of Lialic (5 posts)
- Dominion of Vullain (1 post)
Finally, we address the IC hierarchy! [member="Darth Ophidia"] is being promoted to Reach of the Dark Lord. The Reach is a new position that serves parallel with the Hands and Voices. The Reach is not a commander of armies or governor of worlds, but an exalted Dark Side Adept loyal to the Dark Lord. Further, it has been decided together with the former leadership that Darth Pyrrhus will step into the role of Voice of the Dark Lord.
[member="Isamu Baelor"] is promoted to Grand General of the One Sith. He is taking the army on as his pet project. Hopefully we can make this a bigger part of the OS. He recently made some beautiful rank bling for all you aspiring officers out there. You can find them here. Expect to see more happening here in the future!
Like the former OS administration, we believe the Voice and Hand positions should be maintained by steady and proactive IC activity in faction threads, invasions and dominions, as well as all around activity. Currently we have one open spot for Voice. We have our feelers out for individuals who show the qualities of this positions.
