Deadman Wonderland
The prize five hundred million credits the obstacle navigating through one of the galaxies most dangerous mazes filled to the brim with death row criminals and mad force users broken from reeducation who were graciously "donated" to the event by the greasy palms and blind eyes of government officials. It was a challenge for any thrill seeker, treasure hunter, or a person just willing and wanting to slice open a few convicts. It was the chance of a life time to risk life and limb for the fame, glory and money, but not just money. A S*%# load of money, and the chance of murder with no repercussions. Truly this was the place to see what horrors money could motivate from this galaxy
An Atrisian business man by the name Yang Fei had set up the contest on a remote moon near Atrisia where the event was constructed and made to be held. Yang a rather rich fellow with a taste for games was one of the biggest names on Atrisia for hosting galas, parties, sporting events and things of that nature, but as of late he had grown bored of the events and entertainment he could hold within the law. All the rules and noble traditions that had to be upheld by the standards of the empire, it was all so boring to him living every day like the next So obviously something had to be done whether it be illegal or immoral. Thankfully the empire had caught wind of this dreadful event and wanted it rooted out from the inside to find out who exactly had created such an atrocity to their culture. Though this wasn't a task for any agent the empire had this was a task for an inquisitor. There were death row convicts and unstable force users and every other contestant entered in this depravity. Could it prove to be too much for the inquisition, could it be too much for any of the contestants lured by this deadman's wonderland.
The moon was fairly small and remote but today it seemed like the biggest hot spot for people from every corner of the galaxy to come to watch and compete in this "game", an arena was even built around the giant maze for folks to watch what the soon to be blood bath live. The maze was built with the theme of an amusement park, everywhere you looked you could see hover cart coasters and other various carnival attractions in and around the maze. Perhaps dressing up the death maze as something innocent and fun made it less intimidating for everyone, but the guard towers on every corner of the maze made it seem less harmless. "I hate my job." Standing at one of the many contestant starting lines that could be found all along the outsides of the walls was Rexus Drath was the fool who drew the short straw to be the inquisitor to work the case from inside the competition as a contestant. Surly other inquisitors were working other angles hooefully...
"Contestants the rules are simple!" a female voice rang over the loud speakers outside the carnival disguised death trap over roar of the ever so excited crowd. "Reach the center of the maze and claim your prize without jumping over the walls! Contestants jumping over walls will be shot and killed by our team of trained snipers! The walls are near indestructible and saber resistant so please don't hurt yourselves trying to break them! Other than that murder and mayhem is highly encouraged! Please get set to begin!" Rexus sighed and shook his head "Why is it always me?" The starting lines contained one to three people there depending on which one you found yourself at, Rexus was alone at his he could only behin go imagine the mayhem of those who were partnered up at theirs before the voice cut off his train of thought. "3,2.1... Begin!!" the green light flashed and the game had begun. For all those watching it would prove to be a hell of a show, and for those participating it would turn out to be an experience of a lifetime if they lived that long
