STRENGTHS
  • Fight anywhere: Engineered to withstand almost any weather environment, special technologies allow it to fire underwater also.

  • Ticket Puncher: The infamous damage of the DC-15A's Ion Bolts has been further increased through improved Power Pulsator upgrades and changes to the firing chamber, resulting in bolts of extreme power. Capable of punching a 0.75 meter hole in Duracrete. Also comes with an extremely powerful stun mode that has a shorter level of range (40 meters) but the same accuracy as a standard bolt
  • Apocalypse Proof: Drop it from on high bury it, immerse it in water, freeze it, expose it to EMP/Ion attacks, even Lightsabers, leave it unattended for months, even a decade--due to its superior engineering, it will fire like it's fresh from the factory, almost every time. Even unattended and or maintained for more than a decade, it still will offer excellent performance. You'll forget the last time you had to repair it.
  • Range: Retains the standard DC-15A's maximum range of ten kilometers, allowing the average soldier to engage at ranges far beyond typical retaliation from Enemy infantry, even when not in sniping mode. It's standard scope is perfectly capable of the minute adjustments from 2X Magnification, all the way to its ten kilometer range limit.
  • Accuracy: Improved Barrel Coil Technology increases its already deadly accuracy to the point that there is always extremely tight shot grouping in Semi Auto mode
  • Reload Speed: Improvements to its internal loading and processing result in much faster reloads.
  • Not picky: Rifle can accept nearly any form of substitute or even substandard blaster gas
WEAKNESSES
  • Weight: Carrying this thing around will tire out the average infantry, and they will be slightly slower to aim and acquire targets
  • Recoil: The recoil is heavy but acceptable on Semi-Auto, but on burst or full auto a bipod or tripod will be necessary for best results...along with Strong arms
  • Size: It's size makes it very difficult to use indoors. On the other hand, if the intention is area denial, aiming it down a hall way is a great way to lock it down, or if aiming from a tall enough position out a window, a potentially great way to lock down an avenue
  • Limited reloads: The size of the blaster canisters mean a limit of two reloads can be carried,
  • Underwater limits: Using it underwater reduces it's range to 300 meters and reduces it's accuracy to 7/10's it's potential
  • Full configuration: To take full advantage of its ten kilometer range, a bipod or tripod is required, in addition to Various Stabilizers (Typical range when not using these is 2100 meters)
  • Substitute weakness: Using substandard gasses may make it chew through ammo or reduce it's accuracy or require more tune ups and internal cleaning than average
  • Fire rates: In any of its fire settings the firing rate is low. Burst and full auto modes are much smaller than they would be on a dedicated repeater
  • Stay on target: Most targets are not stationary, and will likely have moved by the time the bolt travels that far (Unless you should somehow get the drop on an opponent through pure sniping). Really, the Ten Kilometer range is best exploited through precision ambush or volley fire, and in general an average soldier using this will not have the time of opportunity to take full advantage of this ability without significant training
DESCRIPTION

The Mechanical Nuetralizers almost universally regard the standard DC-15A as one of the greatest blaster rifles ever created by Organics and even certain Organic Nuetralizers swear by them, and it seems to be regarded as the unofficial service rifle of all mechanical Nuetralizers. This variant increases weight by making multiple extensive modifications to both materials used and rifle internals. This has resulted in a rifle so deadly that it can potentially penetrate and defeat multiple types of heavy armor and shields. Designed primarily to be used by beings with superhuman strength, normal organics may struggle to use it as proficiently as those it was designed for do. These rifles in the hands of non House Citizens are often trophies taken when they proved too tough for whatever Nuetralizer faced them, Alternatively, they may be found in the hands of Anti-Alliance Insurgent Groups or seized/hidden weapons Shipments.

Designed by The Mechanical Nuetralizers themselves, in particular, the Model 3's.

You are one point over the balance goal and will need to reduce

This is the crux of your submission and the main thing that almost merited it being denied on concept. So it will need to be removed as having a vague catch all to instantly be effective against any future material is a no.

A maximum range of 10km's is fine, make sure there is in the weaknesses this fact. you aren't going to be popping 10km shots from a rifle and it instantly hurts the target. By the time it arrives they would likely have moved.

You still have this acting as a catch all now just for anything used currently. Still not going to pass and as I will restate this entire paragraph is the crux. You have a handful of large benefits with no detriment to them. Three being able to subdue armor division is not going to pass, stun is negligible but generally had a much shorter range and lower settings. I am going to say simply this should be removed for a chance to pass.

the sheer Psychological Effect of being shot at repeatedly from potentially hundreds of rifles from such an incredible distance is likely to be extremely rattling to an average Soldier, unused to dealing with such an OP weapon.
As has been told to you dictating effects is up to the opponent and should not be included... additionally this is not a weakness it is trying to make a strength out of a detriment.
