|As their little harmony reached its crescendo and fluttered to an end, BB-610 emerged from it with an entirely different perspective, having been given a new lens to form his view of the galaxy. Subjectivity and emotion were rooted deep in the concept of music, acting as a skeleton to flesh out a better understanding of the world around him. Their sounds were beautiful and organic, the furthest thing from the cold, objective nature he'd been programmed with. With every passing moment, BB-610 grew and developed, melded by his environments as he was subtly nudged closer to the organics he'd befriended than the unfeeling steel of his own kind. BB-610 from several years ago would have scoffed at the notion. Now, he's embraced it wholeheartedly.
Wobbling giddily with a series of chipper bweeps from Valery's headpatting, the astromech wheeled over to Jalen. He tweeted and clicked, telling the Padawan that he was incredibly grateful for showing him such a wonderful thing. Nodding at Valery's words, BB-610 kept his central optic, glowing bright with joy, trained on Jalen, as another string of binary was promptly added to tell the boy that BB-610 was more than happy to help him with anything in future, gently nuzzling the edge of his flat head against Jalen's hand, cooing affectionately.
Rolling over to the X-wing, the droid hoisted himself up into the astromech socket in order to test the starfighter's health. To his delight, their ship was running at maximum efficiency in part of Jalen's help, announced by the BB unit's ecstatic little bweeps and chirps.
