Description:
Darth Pyrrhus, with the resources available to him, finally saw it fit to reach out to his contacts and commission the construction of a personal armour. He had his best people working on it, though the entire process didn’t take too long. The materials required were commonplace and the overall design was fairly basic. It was no ambitious request. This armour would revolutionize nothing, but it would add another layer of protection for the Sith Lord. For the rest Pyrrhus relies on his mastery of the Force and skill with the lightsaber. He is, after all, a Sith.

Pyrrhus has always been a traditionalist when it comes to uniform and attire. If he’s not attempting to go undercover in some capacity you can be sure to find him in the dark robes and tunics commonly associated with the Sith. It is perhaps then not surprising to find that his personal armour incorporates this preference, by sporting a black armorweave cape with a wide concealing hood up top. The entire ensemble gives the impression of armoured Sith robes, which matches his intent. The dark robes are however functional, as the armoured cloth’s material is capable of dissipating blaster bolts and comes with at least limited resistance to lightsaber attacks.

The armour’s outer layers are composed of duraplast, a material stronger than many other metals and able to offer protection against anything from grenades, slugs and light laser cannon rounds. The material has also been noted to offer strong protection against lightsaber, but is in no way constructed to withstand any continued assault. The strategically placed duraplast plates encase the chest and back, shoulders, upper and lower arms, hands, thighs, calves, and feet. Extra protection has also been provided in the form of a groin guard, because why the kark wouldn’t you. Underneath the wearer is first encased in an armorweave bodyglove that serves both as comfortable padding and as a layer of defense in and of itself. On top of that comes the flex-armour vest that is intended to provide additional protection to the torso, as that is where most attacks will invariably hit. In the upper body, the flex-armour cuts off at the shoulders and reaches all the way up to the chin, thus reinforcing the armour of the neck as well, whereas in the waist area, the layer extends down to mid-thigh, guarding the oft-exposed vessels of the femoral region. On either side of the wrists, there has been installed a small hidden compartment. On the armour’s outermost layer, it is also reinforced by additional duraplast plating on the shoulders, arms, and legs (see image).

The armour comes with no other fancy gadgets or functions beyond what has already been provided by the duraplast plating, armorweave and flex-armour protection. The set does however also come with an utility belt, coming equipped with various holster and clip-points for lightsabers, along with various pouches which could contain any number of small things from credits to vials of liquid, for all your sinister needs.
