PERSONAL INFORMATION
Name: Enok-Ka
Alias: Darth Orthus
Through his ability to possess beings and create Voices allow him to take on their personalities and identities if he so desires. Orthus could be anywhere. He could be anyone.
Titles:
Lord of Truth
Keeper of Secrets
Dark Master
Faction: Independent | Imperial Revenant
Rank: Sith Lord
Species: Voss
Home World: Voss
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Force Sensitive: Master

TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS
(+) Sorcerer Supreme: Most of his studies have revolved around sorcery, magic, and other obscure arcane arts rather than traditional Force skills and abilities. There is little about the Force he has no knowledge of, though some may be passing or cursory information. Being a Voss he is able to manifest extremely accurate visions of the future and access the Spirit Realm.

(-) Mortal Frailty: Given his advanced age, years steeped in the Dark Side, and that he was never one for frontline fighting, the Sith Lord, no matter how powerful is not proficient in melee combat. His lightsaber skills are mediocre, and his physical prowess is slightly below that of the average human.

(-) Cost of Life: Life altering and extending Alchemy has a deep cost. Orthus does not the vibrancy of colors and cannot taste food or drink. Other unforeseen issues can arise, such as having difficulty finding comfort, being unable to feel warmth, and a disassociation with sentient beings in general.

(-) Torn Soul: Orthus’ very being has been severely injured through years of practice with the Dark Side and possessing other bodies, his soul fractured and damaged far beyond repair. He knows exactly what awaits him when death does find him, and it’s not pretty.

PERSONALITY
The Sith believes in order and law, albeit a darker one than some might prefer, however he does not crave power. He seeks only to survive and manipulate the rise and fall of the successive line of kingdoms to his liking, knowing that the galaxy requires the constantly tipping scales, just preferring to be at the fulcrum instead of on one end. He see's his purpose as preordained and is willing to sacrifice anything to achieve it, believing it to be the cost he must pay.

Orthus despises overly diabolical beings, masochists and sadists alike, seeing each life and death only as a tool. If causing somethings' death is more useful to his ends then it will be done, otherwise some other discipline will suffice for the Sith, and killing is never done for pleasure.

He is cold and ruthless, overly analytical, and cunning. The Sith has no issue with adopting different persona’s to fit different situations, able to be the humble host to the far superior guest, kind and gentle old man, and the monster that teaches mankind to fear the shadows all with practiced ease. But he is at heart anti-social and always has been. Given the choice he would rather sit in a library than seek companionship in any facet, even his apprentices eventually become tiresome to the Sith.

APPEARANCE

Height: 1.8 Meters (5’11”)
Weight: 75 Kilograms (165 Pounds)
Eyes: Red
Hair: None
Skin: Blue with Grey and Black markings

Darth Orthus, or Enok-Ka as he sometimes refers to himself, is a Voss of average height and build. He is not overly muscular and is even sometimes described as lithe or shriveled when not clad in dark robes. As a voss he has reddish-orange eyes that emit a faint glow, his blue skin is etched with markings of lighter shades on his chin and eyes, with darker shades highlighting his features. Some lines of gold mark his cheeks, the tops of his ears, and temple giving him a more elegant appearance.

Stereotypically, Enok-Ka wears a classical Sith Mask to cover his face and a set of dark robes over a black tunic and trousers. He has come to view the mask as his identity, the one chosen to present to the universe. Most times, even his Voices wear an identical one, as he considers the mask a better representation of him than his own flesh. His attire is unassuming and he never wears physical armor as he has little need for such protection.

Currently, after the destruction of his long serving Sith Pureblood vessel, Orthus ancient spirit was pulled back into his own mortal coil where he usually recovered over the course of weeks, however as weeks turned to months the Dark Master became unable to put off the Ascension of one of his Hands as his presence was demanded by the affairs of the cult surrounding him. Though his spirit was unready, he and his servants went forward with the Ascension of the Next Brother so that he could return to his duties after having been reclusive for far too long. Now within the human vessel, it bears advanced signs of his corruption despite only having been his vessel for a short time.

FORCE ABILITIES
As a Sith, his specialties lie in Force Subjugation and Suppress Thought which allow him to control those around him, various Force enhanced mind reading and torture methods, while his other preferred skills revolve around abilities such as Force Stun and Stasis in order to hinder other beings movement both as a form of torture and to assist in his own escape, Foresight and Farsight as he meditates on the ripples of the Force, Phantoms which he uses to project illusions of himself and his hounds across the galaxy as he desires, and of course various forms of Force Lightning. He is proficient with numerous Sith rituals, Magics, and Dark Side Rites, including various summonings and implementations of Sith Alchemy to alter his servants.

It is said there is little about the Force Orthus has not studied or heard of, but he is by no means an expert of every use of the Force. Most of his knowledge is compiled from years of listening and study from second hand sources, and in practice he is not proficient or learned with most uses of the Force, simply having heard or seen it in some manner.

Orthus is also capable of taking on Voices, in which his spirit possesses a body that allows him to be in more than one place at the same time, and allows his spirit to recuperate so long as his original body is not destroyed. Occasionally he can be found muttering to himself, having one side of a conversation or suddenly become occupied as his spirit is forced to concentrate on a single Voice. Orthus is able to maintain One or Two Voices at once, however when performing activities that require a great deal of his concentration, he is unable to act through multiple bodies. His Voices are swiftly corrupted by his essence, in that even if he were to take on a well built warrior, he would not be able to use the body to its full potential and would remain relatively weakened by comparison.

While the Sith Lord is very powerful, he is not very practiced with a Lightsaber or proficient with using the Force to amplify his physical skills. He is thus not suited for the fervor of melee combat which is a weakness the Sith is well aware of, doing his best to remain out of situations where such skills would become necessary.

BIOGRAPHY
Little is known about the origins of Darth Orthus. Even his closest advisers and servants know him only as Orthus, rumors of him being a Voss Mystic succumbed by the power of the Dark Side, a Neimoidian who sought power to gain riches, or a Pureblood Sith underneath the faceless mask abound among the curious.

He prefers it that way, most of his life has been spent avoiding being acknowledged or known, staying to the shadows to subtly pull strings and twist circumstances to his liking, using minions or manipulating others without them ever being aware of his existence.

Enok-Ka was born on Voss as a Mystic of no great importance, middling in every regard. It was not until he traveled to the Spirit World that he took the very first steps to understanding himself, what he desired, what his purpose was.

Within the Spirit Realm he saw ever tipping scales, the balance ever changing and evolving. He saw some who would try to steady the scales only to send them into chaos, and others who would hold an iron grip on one end only to eventually rust and decay. It was not just the future but from aeons past as well, a constant struggle where light must fight darkness and nothing could stop it. Believing that those with knowledge and power had a responsibility to the universe to act upon them, Enok devoted himself to balancing the struggle on his homeworld.

For a short time, Enok attempted to hold the light, to help foresee the shifting balances and aid them to make the transitions less painful, but it could not be done. They would not listen, they would not let go and ease their suffering, and each time many would die in plague, famine, or outright war. He realized, after years of struggle and turmoil that the Lightside he served simply lacked the necessary attributes for leadership, unable to make the difficult decisions that cost hundreds of lives. Understanding this, he began fading, trying to hold to the middle ground but it was not to be. Even as he placed the needs of the many above the needs of the few he found himself judged based on his worst examples, his good intentions ignored.

Another, very dark presence showed him the truth. While others clung desperately to their power or control, in attempts to bring peace or order or stability, they could only create chaos and suffering. Only the strong of will, capable of doing what must be done, can aid in ending the constant power struggle. That ruthlessness and sacrifice were necessary traits in any true leader, that is was better to be feared than to be loved. Many would call that being evil, mad, even insane during their lives because they could only see the universe in the frame of their lifetimes, an infinitesimal fraction of existence. Thus Enok fell to the Dark Side, knowing that the Light could never do what needed to be done, that only in the dark paths to power could the burden of his divine purpose be carried upon one being.

He joined the Dark Being that enlightened him, following him out of the annals of history and into the shadows of obscurity. Ages passed while Orthus remained deep in the shadows, pouring through libraries and ancient arcane arts. However his master began to crave power while Enok, now Orthus remained satisfied with allowing others to rule and act through them, and in his master’s grab for power, the scales shifted in his favor.

And as with all things, they shifted against him as they always do. As they always must.

The long overdue passing of the previous vessel of the Dark Master occurred above the world of Copero at the hands of an unknown Eldorai and so his spirit returned to recover within his own mortal coil. The process which usually takes weeks took much longer than expected as weeks slowly became months while his soul continued to only barely repair itself. His servants warned him that he may have rent his soul too many times to every fully recover, but as time passed while he remained completely in the shadows his cult began to grow restless. While not unaccustomed to the Dark Master's reclusiveness, eventually murmurs of his demise began to surface even among his own Dark Acolytes and he could hold off the Ascension of a new vessel no longer.

He and the Hand undertook the ritual as the Next vessel of the Dark Master was ceremoniously prepared with the appropriate branding of Sith runes and a sacrifice made to begin the transition from the ancient Lord of Darkness into the Host that would contain him and be his Voice for the foreseeable future. Even as the ritual was complete, the Dark Master's sickly presence corrupted the vessel's appearance, a testament to how long the Dark Master had prolonged his existence.
