Intent: Personal light armour for [member="Darth Isolda"].
Development Thread: Terentatek hide obtained, tikulini hide obtained
Manufacturer: Akure Executive Leatherworks
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Personal
Modularity: No
Production: Unique
Material: Alchemized tikulini and terentatek hide
Description: Darth Isolda's armour was contracted through Akure Executive Leatherworks, which specialize in the hide of terentatek, tikulini, leviathan and lotek'k. Additionally, the master alchemist Rave Merrill took a personal hand in crafting the armour. Its resistance to slugthrowers, blunt trauma, vibroblades, and shrapnel is only equivalent to very good light armour, and significant gaps compound the wearer's vulnerability. Flexibility has been maintained despite two layers of expertly treated leather, allowing Isolda to move quickly and with dexterity. The outermost layer is alchemized tikulini hide, tough enough to stop a lightsabre, although repeated blows to a given area will hack through.

The inner layer is terentatek hide, thickest at torso and forearms. As with previous examples of AEL's work, properly alchemized terentatek hide, if used in large quantities, defends the wearer against direct Force attacks. Rave Merrill's alchemical insights and reagents have allowed AEL's master leatherworkers to preserve and amplify the elements of terentatek hide which make the creature so deadly.

Terentateks are fully immune to Force powers. The armour imparts full immunity against a wide variety of Force powers, with the following exceptions:
  • Mentalism/illusion
  • Force push/crush (partial resistance)
  • Force-enhanced strength
  • Telekinetically thrown objects
  • Anything which targets the head, hands, or other exposed areas
  • Other exceptions as reasonable
In practical terms, this means that unless lightning or other offensive Force techniques contact areas not covered by the armour, those techniques generally do very little if anything. Powerful pseudo-physical techniques such as black spears or kinetite may result in blunt trauma or getting thrown around, but will not break the leather. This limited, elite product is, in the end, only leather -- supernaturally tough leather, but leather all the same. Also, Force healing is less effective against someone wearing the armour, especially in regards to areas beneath the coat.

Classification: Anti-Force, anti-lightsabre
Weight: 5kg
Quality: Class 4 (class 8 against energy)
Other Feature(s): Significant lightsabre resistance, significant Force resistance
