- [+] Ageless Combatant: Darth Callidus is exceptionally skilled in hand-to-hand and lightsaber combat, and has had centuries to hone his fighting prowess. Given his extensive experience, it's no surprise that Callidus has mastered several lightsaber forms:
[+] Niman [Form VI] Master: Studying under the tutelage of Sith trainers for many decades, Callidus has reached a near-perfect use and understanding of Form VI, Niman, lightsaber combat. The forms fluidity in combining the use of Force powers with fighting has resulted in Callidus being very deadly in this particular form, allowing for rapid transitions between physical attack and Force use. The lessons also taught the art of Jar'Kai, using two lightsabers, and Callidus has no trouble fighting in either variation of the Niman form - [+] Soresu [Form III] Expert: Callidus has become a master in the use of Form III, Soresu, which is focused on a more defensive combat method. While not Callidus' primary fighting style, the focus on prolonged defense and survivable combat allows him to use that time to begin analyzing his opponent's strengths and weaknesses. With the combination of his Anzati heritage, and his naturally enhanced regenerative capabilities, reflexes and speed, Callidus is able to more easily parry and turn aside blaster bolts or lightsaber blades

- [-] Endless Hunger: Once a Anzat consumes a victim's soup, there is an ever remaining thirst that grows into addiction; it then becomes a battle of willpower to resist giving into the urges, by fighting their instinctual nature with training and lessons taught to them.
- [-] Temptation: Callidus is constantly surrounded by temptation and prey, especially among the Sith; every single moment he is awake he has to fight the urge to partake in consuming those around him, battling his desire with self-control.
