Rationale:
Orcus, once known as Hion of Giju, used to be a mercenary who operated at the limits of Fondorian trade lanes, particularly around Suarbi 7. Since those days he has gone on to become a powerful Lord in the One Sith, but he maintains the corporate vision common to his species, as evidenced by Herglic Haute Coutere and his recent philanthropic venture of Safe Harbor Orphanage. After becoming involved in the trade federation known as the Tion Hegemony he realized there was a severe lack of adequate personal protection for high ranking corporate executives in the Tion Hegemony, some of whom even had outstanding warrants and bounties. Post-realization, he immediately touched base with old mercenary contacts and began contracting some of the deadliest mercenaries in the galaxy into a small private security firm known as Darkwater Security.

The intergalactic security corporation consists of elite amphibians and aquatic species from around the galaxy. Darkwater only hires the most imposing individuals as the company has a strong belief in protection through intimidation. In other words, if the people guarding your target look like they would eat you, your family, and your pet, then you'll think twice about making an attempt on the principle.
Over the years, Darkwater Security has expanded its reach into a myriad of services including production of security software, top of the line automated security systems, training, counter-corporate espionage consulting, and risk assessments.
The recent development of the MA-1 armor suits in a joint venture with Ty'rel Holdings and Hegemonic Automaton make those Herglic commandos lucky enough to be equipped with them some of the most sought after government contractors in the galaxy. As a private military corporation, Darkwater Security guarantees only the best for any government or corporation that chooses to contract with us.
Two new fronts of expansion are in the private prison industry and a project involving an intergalactic security database that interfaces with local law enforcement.
