Darkness Strikes

The blank expression of her mandalorian visor looked on blankly in what folks back on tatooine called "The twelve parsec stare", which thiavi maintained in silence for a time, focused on on whoever that man was, the one who had less told them and more so advised them to leave, to "save them some trouble".
The thing about thiavi was that she didn't really trust anyone. Well, almost anyone. she had learned to trust kahlil for now, even if she still wasn't sure about the silvers themselves. In her experience, the advise to leave usually meant that whoever was advising wanted them to leave.

"We're not looking for trouble, But we're not shying away from it either" She says, gripping a little tighter on her short blaster.
"of course maybe we'd be more willing, if someone told us what's happening?" She wasn't exactly silver tongued, but she'd try to talk her way into information anyway.
She then whispers to her droid, K-3B0. "Remember what I said about looking tough?"
The large crimson frame of the seven foot security droid steps out from behind kahlil and into view of everyone else there, and does the most intimidating thing he could think of

"Greetings strangers, I am K-3B0, Security and asset defense droid" He says enthusiastically, waving to everyone else. Thiavi groans quietly under her helmet.

By now, every mind that was strong enough to be left untouched by the magics, were the only on the planet that could be said about. The man in the hood was smiling like a gleeful idiot, as he rose and exited the temples to the adoration of those that passed. It was a success, the people losing their belief that Zaiden James-Greyson was the God they had prophesized of a million years ago. This man was now the replacement for that belief. They would fall to their deaths should he command it. He had billions at his call...

And only one man that could change these things back to as they were. Or so he believed.

==========

Zaiden went to open his mouth, when an explosion rocked the entrance of the hangar. He and Bryn were the closest as far as he was aware, and therefore the first thrown from their feet, as if they had spread wings with intent to fly away. Ragdolling through space, Zaiden hurled a protective bubble around Bryn before she would hit anything, but he himself slammed hard against a ship. Dropping to the ground, slumping really, he groaned and cradled an arm to his chest, bone protruding from the flesh at an obviously bad angle.

"I am Zaiden! God King of this domain! Cease your attacks!" As he spoke, a soft sound of grinding occured as his arm began to heal slowly of its own volition. Speeding it with the Force, in but a few moments the bone had retreated, and his wound from it spearing the flesh was also sealing. Shaking free his arm, he groaned a little, fore it still did smart a bit. But it would be done soon enough.

"We know no Zaiden! Only our true God King and he orders death on all that approach the planet! Attempt to flee in your ships and be gunned down!"

Zaiden swore under his breath, "Ok so none of you can leave. But we can still stop this." He looked to find Bryn, saying, "Bryn and I will go to stop whoever this imposter is, and you all are free to come along at your own risk. I cannot promise protection for you all." Turning his attention to the fallen warriors from before, he began to feast on their energies until it was their life force, and lastly they perished.

Rejuvinated quite a bit, Zaiden moved for the entrance, his lightsaber returning to his palm from the ground nearby.

Danger.
The Force screamed in Kahlil's ear as the talks continued. He reached out and pulled [member="Thiavi"] behind him with one hand as the other came up. A field of blue formed between them and the resulting explosion. The barrier cracked, almost like it was going to break. But it held. The young man let out a breath as his arm lowered, and the shield did the same. "Well, yeah. So much for being able to leave. Ah well."

He wasn't planning on leaving as it was, but now it meant there were others trapped on this planet. People who might of wanted to leave. People they were now certainly going to have to help. Not that he exactly trusted [member="Zaiden Dean"] now that he was throwing around his titles. "God-King, huh. The last person I knew who called them that was anything but." He mumbled the words under his breath, trying not to be too judgmental.

But how could he not with who his father was.

"Care to spare any more details on what's exactly happening?"

Thiavi raised her hands, crossing her arms in front of her helmet to shield her eyes from the light of a sudden explosion. Before she could react, she was yanked backwards. She was light and kahlil was an epicanthix, no doubt strong enough to toss the young mandalorian around if need be

"Hands- Hers eyes had opened just before her mouth, and were greeted by the dull blue of the crackling shield. ...off"
K-3B0 was of course less lucky, he hadn't been pulled behind and instead got blaster by the heat of the explosion, though it was far enough away that little more than flame and a small shard of metal had hit him, only to bounce off and stain his coating.
Speaking of which..

"my PAINT!" Thiavi shouts as K3 turns, revealing the blackened scorch mark across his chassis.

"I am sorry ma'am, But it appears i have ruined your art" He says, looking down at the markings. "No, no it's not your fault Kebo, it's those Fething aruetiise"
She shouts the last half, Pointing toward the origin of whatever voice had spoken of their ships.
After that, It seemed Kahlil was saying exactly what she was thinking, And thought it better to let him talk.
Instead of speaking on it further, she walks towards the men that zaiden had just absorbed, She wanted to see what he had done to them of course, but more importantly she wanted to know what her enemy's uniform looked like. She'd need to know, Seeing as she was going to be here for awhile.

Barr Vexos ship could be seen from afar as he carefully lands onto one of the hangar ports on the planet. Getting out of the ship Barr realizes that there is noone where which set off some warning lights in his mind. The second he take a foot on the hangar he feels something off to him. “ What the hell…” He whispered out of his mouth. Wondering what going on around him, he takes a few steps forward “HEY!!” he yells hoping to get a reaction from someone. “ANYONE HERE!!?”

For 2 weeks Lan-Dai had traveled from one planet to the next, each day was spent meditating alongside his manacle, restocking ammunition and supplies for his belt, and training patiently in the technique that he first sampled when tethered to his heirloom, albeit involuntarily.
First, Lan-Dai would spend over an hour in meditation alongide the manacle. Then, he would gently begin to fire small charges from each hand. Once this had become comfortable, the Emerallian Senior Padawan then released short, energetic bursts, carefully gauging himself so as not to burn out, or cause himself any unnecessary damage. Amid his solitary tutelage, Lan-Dai sensed an undeniable presence through the force, somewhere out there, elusive. While the Emerallian resolved to focus on what he had set out to accomplish, the sensation that was perceived was overwhelming, almost to the point that it made him feel as if he should return to the temple on Ossus. The temptation to return was strong, but he knew that his friends and allies were the same, and they would see through any threat even without him.

Today’s stop was a specific one, he found himself en route to Val'Hala. There was peace as he made his way through space, and once more it seemed as though the manacle faintly called to him in the midst of it. Allowing the manacle, and thereby Deo-Law to take form and manifest to him, Lan-Dai once more came into contact with his ancestor, for the first time since they had first spoken.

“Lan-Dai, my descendant….. though it disturbs me to know that because of my failure you must now face an opponent unlike any you could imagine, I am proud to see both the Jedi you have become as well as the Jedi you will become. You will surpass me in ways I never thought possible, just as you already have.“

Lan-Dai listened half in meditation to his ancestor’s words, the jump to lightspeed seemed nearly eternal in front of him.

“You did not fail in your dealings with Volgang…” Lan-Dai replied, reassuringly. “You did what you believed to be correct, don’t blame yourself. If anything I admire your judgment, you restrained yourself from killing him despite the threat he posed, and once again poses. However, now is not the time to remember what was or should have been...". Lan-Dai said stoically. "All we can do now is prepare for what is and what wil be.... any help will be appreciated.".

"Very well, Lan-Dai." Deo-Law said, his voice and tone rivaling that of his descendant. "Always bear in mind that any power granted to us by the Force is not as important as what one chooses to do with it, remember your intent before using this new technique.".

The wisdom and experience bled through Deo-Law's words.

"While the use of lightning has been controversial among the Jedi Order, it still remains a powerful and useful ability. It is not to be taken lightly, nor is it a power that should be overused or misused. Which is why I cannot stress enough that should you use this power, be mindful of your intentions so that you do not risk falling prey to the dark side. Try not to use electric judgment unless the situation or your opponent forces you to do so......."

Lan-Dai listened, all the while making a silent promise.

No sooner had Deo-Law finished speaking that Lan-Dai realized that he was now flying above Val'hala's orbit.

"Once you use this power against an opponent, there is no turning back. Therefore you must always be concise in your decisions, and never second-guess yourself. Should you doubt, you create a window for your enemy to use against you, which can be all that is needed of your adversary to claim victory over you......"

The more Lan-Dai listened, the more he realized his ancestor sounded too much like his own master, Tiro-Narus Altor.

"One more thing, Lan-Dai....." Deo-Law said with an intention to close. "If you intend to use armor, which is not a bad idea, use a bi-weave of a material that will not be burnt through or damaged by continuous charges of electricity. Electric judgment and Force Lightning can have that side effect...."

That being said, the visage of the Elder Navras faded, and all returned to normal.

“Where are you, Master…..?” He asked quietly, more to himself than anyone else.

His musings as he began to approach a hangar were interrupted, as an explosion and an echo through the Force ran powerful. While the explosion itself was nowhere near Lan-Dai or his fighter, the tremor and secondary waves of kinetic energy shook him and his ship in such a way that it malfunctioned, forcing a hard landing. Bracing himself, and looking to regain whatever control he could, the Emerallian's fighter skidded as it landed several yards away from where the hangar and its patrons would be. The landing was rough, yet only minimal damage was received. Only the main frontal stand had been broken and part of the fighter's nose was damaged, the rest were only minimal blows that could be easily repaired.

Donning his helmet and cloak, Lan-Dai hooded himself as he exited the fighter, trying to reason what had just happened. Looking around, he sensed several people in the immediate vicinity, one of them attuned to the Force. Double checking his belt and holsters, and concealing a backup copy of his lightsaber, Lan-Dai motioned to his astromech to follow.

"Come with me, R8, there's no sense in waiting here by the ship since it's not going anywhere until it can be repaired....."

R8 happily popped out of his slot on the fighter as he quickly caught up to his hooded and caped owner. Ever vigilant, Lan-Dai made his way towards the hangar where he hoped he could find the means to repair his fighter, and what it was that he had sensed and now apparently kept him here, if only for the time being.

"I have a bad feeling about this......" Lan-Dai mused in silent soliloquy.

She would have survived the crash just fine due to her enhancements, but the protectiveness of Zaiden wasn't missed. It was these small things he did that brought them closer together. Climbing to her feet once she was on the ground, she ran to his side and was as quiet as a ghost.

There was a young man that spoke up and said he had known of another person to call himself that. Looking at him, her cybernetic eye assessed him.

"Who are you? Zaiden already stated my name. I am unable to provide you any additional details."

His companion was another female who Bryn also turned her scrutinizing eye to. A Mandalorian at a glance. All of them that Bryn had encountered before had been wonderful warriors and able to take care of themselves. Giving her a nod, she didn't say anything.

When another person yelled out of another hanger in the area, Bryn was off in a flash to escort him back. She moved almost as fast as one using the Force and disappeared into the darkness.

"Stay where you are and I'll bring you to the others."

Her tone indicated no heat, anger or any other emotion, just a simple and strong command to the stranger. On her way to Barr, another ship came in and Bryn expected to have to escort this person to the group as well.

Zaiden watched as his woman approached, spoke, then went to assist the other speaker. Turning his attention to the one that had stated he knew another God King, Zaiden nodded, “I am not the only that claims that title, but on this planet, that is me. However, I never wanted the title. I accept it, as it is what my people wish to call me.

“I wish they would call me something different, but it has been a prophecy for years that someone fitting my description would come to the planet, the first to arrive in a vast time, and so they call me that.” Hearing a general consensus that they all would not flee, he sighed, then spoke up, “I will not be the kind to take lead on a group that I do not know, but I would advise that should you all wish to be okay, to leave in a successful venture, that you would take my warnings to heart.

“I will not command, but if I advise, please for your safeties listen. This planet is built much like Coruscant. Make a wrong turn and you can have miles to fall to your death from a platform or ledge.” Zaiden warned, “Not to mention from what I can find obvious, they no longer find me their leader for whatever reason. This means you may end up with literal, and I mean literal, billions that will be willing to kill you for the person they now listen to.

“These people would fall on their own weapons, should I have ordered it just days ago. They would sacrifice their own children if they thought it would please me.” He paused, “But whoever is now in charge, could order them to annihilate anyone that shows up, hoping to cease my arrival.”

Suddenly the building was rocked, literally crumbling at the front. Some of the larger holes became obvious to those of the war faring type, that tanks had made them. Zaiden gasped, hurling a shield ahead of himself. A large boulder like piece of the exterior slammed the shield and fell before it could reach and damage the man.

“Scatter!”

With the building now open to the front, they could clearly see more then a dozen armed Force Users all wielding their own sabers, some dual wielding, others holding lightsaber whips. Behind the massive group was the aforementioned tank.

Those adept in the force would feel a hurricane like charge, as Zaiden reached into the loom that was the ever present energies. A wave extended with his hand, one that sent many of the men around the tank flying backward, while he crushed the barrel of the tank. No more shots would come from it. However, the danger was still there as the team came rushing inward.

“If you can, please incapacitate not kill!” Zaiden hollered, his lightsaber igniting at the same instance a man leaped the distance between them. The block was solid. In a moment however, he found himself matching strike for strike between three warriors. Each was a decent match for one untrained, or less trained than he anyway.

His own blows soon began to reach the men, but none were fatal, each hoping to drop the men before they could perish.

"No one alive should have that sort of power." Kahlil was certainly biased about this. He cast a glance to [member="Thiavi"] to make sure she was alright. They seemed to always find trouble, but at least she was unarmed. K3? Eh. The droid would be fine. What really mattered was the enemy [member="Zaiden Dean"] had brought along. Don't kill, huh? He pulled out his saber, letting the blue blade light into existence.

It wasn't going to be easy not to kill these people. But it was something he was going to try to do anyway. These people were no different then people back home, ruled by his father. Zealots brainwashed by feats of strength thought impossible by those without the Force. So he thumbed down the strength of his saber. Made it comparable to a training saber. Enough to sting but not cut.

Not that he had time to really think on it. The enemy had already charged in, and he had to bring up his blade to defend. No turning back now.

Thiavi had turned back to observe the group, returning the nod to [member="Bryn Celli Ddu"] , which she hoenstly hadn't expected, most force users had a habit of treating her people like chit, looks like these people were different? maybe they were more like kahlil.

She dove to the side as the building came crashing down, narrowly escaping the shrapnel. K3 had casually stepped to the side, looking up as it first began to fall, then down at the remains.

"It would appear that this structure is not entirely stable" He says. Though, as the lightsaber wielding foes approached, he stepped in front of thiavi as any loyal bodyguard\security droid should. A lightsaber would make short work of the large droid if he were to simply take the hit, fortunately he had been programmed with many combat algorithms to work with, and melee was his speciality.

His eyes turn red as he enters combat mode

K-3B0 raises his fists in a southpaw stance, left fist held close to his face, right fist out a little more, and lower. With the saber armed opponent closing in, he attempts to avoid the blow by bouncing to the side while spinning around and swinging his right hand out, aiming to slam his metalic backhand into the back of his foe's head. meanwhile, thiavi rolls over, drawing her NN-14 blaster pistol, giving herself a quick second to take aim, and fires at K3's opponent, aiming for the kneecap.

On the planet, of Val'hala, the First Order had a probe. This probe was sent into the planet to look for any possible information that the government of Val'hala could have been hiding from the First Order. Unfortunately, less than a week before the current time, the probe suddenly went offline. There was no probable cause of this. It just mysteriously shut down. Deficire was the agent sent to find the missing the missing probe and recover the information that is obtained before shutting down. She hoped for this to be a quick trip but she wouldn't get her hopes up.

As Deficire approached the planet to prepare for landing, she attempted to contact the spaceport that she was meant to land on, "Hello. This is Deficire Aeternum. I am requesting in the Val'hala spaceport?" She was met with silence. Deficire waited for a moment but she still had no answer. She spoke again. "Excuse me. This is Deficire Aeternum. I would like permission to land my ship in your spaceport."

Deficire took a deep breath and proceeded to go onto the surface anyways. She was curious as to why the spaceport wasn't responding but at soon as her ship approached it, she realized. The building was beat up and heavily damaged. Something bad certainly happened here. She noticed several armed force users and a tank tank prepared to attack another group inside the building. This was heavily concerning. She needed to land her ship inside quickly. It was troubling finding a place to park in the damaged spaceport but she managed.

Deficire quickly exited her ship and put on her helmet, investigating the spaceport. It seemed almost empty with the exception of the people she saw before. Deficire took out her E-22 Blaster Rifle as she approached the group inside the spaceport. She examined the group. Some of the people that stuck out to her in the group was a security droid, a jedi, and a mandalorian.

"Excuse me!" Deficire shouted over to the group of people "Can someone explain to me what is happening here?"

When Barr saw the woman from afar he felt relieved but quickly not notice of the tone of his voice. He did what he was told and waited for her to come to him but began asking himself questions. Why speak with the lifeless tone? Did she or something involving her cause the lack of lifeforms around? What does she plan to do once she got close enough? He began to get nerviness as she came closer and mentally prepared himself for what to come.

"What going on here?" He asked, "Some type of messed up prank or sick joke? Because I'm a hard time buying it as much as me having a hard time being told to stay here."

The attack on the spaceport couldn't have been missed even if Bryn wanted to ignore it. She had already left the group behind and met up with Barr. Picking up on yet another arrival, she would address that person as well when she came out of her ship.

"We are trying to figure out what is going on here. A man is the leader and I have come to guide you to him. If you would both follow me, the answers you seek will be given once we learn them as well. I am Bryn."

Here she was on the job and kept her emotions held back. Pointing in the direction she had come, they would hear the sounds of conflict coming from that way.

The arriving women might not have heard or seen Bryn as she took off in the direction of the combat. Shaking her head at the hurry and waited for Barr to respond. Not stopping or standing close enough to touch, she tipped her head back the other way and indicated he should follow her.

"Seems this place is popular suddenly. What brought you here? I'm Bryn."

Might as well get the introduction out of the way as they walked together. Combat had already started before they arrived and Bryn jumped in. Not having heard the request of Zaiden not to kill, if any of her blows did that she wouldn't feel anything for the death.

Not able to use the Force well yet, the cyborg still relied on her assassin training. Hand to hand combat and close range weapons were deadly in her hands. They kept coming though.

"We need to get out of here!"

On his way towards the hangar, multiple presences coming from all over were suddenly sensed. As Lan-Dai approached the hangar, a certain portion of the edifice fell. Worry overtook him as he hastened his approach, and his worry became fact when he heard from a distance the voice of a man speaking to those within the vicinity.

Suddenly the sensed presences came into view, just as lightsabers were drawn and the man's voice advised to incapacitate but not to kill. Lan-Dai still could not make too much sense of what was happening, yet the Force indicated that these lightsaber wielding adversaries were not themselves.

Seeing a Mandalorian next to a droid, a female one at that, he decided to approach them in search for answers as he drew his blasters. Instantly setting the S-5 to fire sting charges, and twisting his DH-17's barrel to laser burn stun mode, Lan-Dai kept his two blasters concealed under his cape. His helmet hidden by his hood as several came into view, and Lan-Dai opened up his cape with a gesture of his arms to expose his armed hands. Rather than firing directly at his enemies instantly, Lan-Dai instead resolved to try to disarm his opponents from a distance instead. Taking careful aim at the lightsabers in their hands, Lan-Dai's goal was to knock their weapons from their hands, thus making them far less dangerous and easier to neutralize in a non-lethal fashion.

However, several were too close to disarm, thus a direct head shot from the DH-17 would be more suitable for an instant incapacitation without killing. For now Lan-Dai resolved to assist those fighting the armed foes, answers would have to wait.

Hearing Bryn shout, Zaiden defied all gravity and physics, sliding under a horizontal lightsaber slash, the slide continued for a moment. He was almost horizontal, feet still connected, before a flip lurched him to Bryn's side. Slashing the legs from an attacker that meant her harm, he nodded, "Let's go! West exit!"

Grabbing the woman, he tossed her high into the air, as if she weighed nothing. She would land somewhere near the door to the way out. Following suit, a jump landed him right at the door, and he kicked it open. Harder than he had intended, the door burst open, soaring free of the wall. It went clear over the railing, plummeting miles toward the ground below.

"This way!!" He roared.

Shots began to rain like droplets, fired from dozens of assailants that were arriving at the fore of the building. Many had already been taken out, but he could sense the arrival of entire platoons. Several dozen soldiers were coming close. Moments away.

"Anyone who can use the Force, jump!" Zaiden pointed at the railing. Once someone looked they would see a decent distance away was another ledge, lower down by two floors. If someone could jump far enough, they could make it and get away most likely unseen.

"Anyone need help?" He hollered.
