DESCRIPTION
When a bunch of bored privileged rich kids (we're talking stupid galactically rich,) decide they want to open their own company, you better believe things are going to get real stupid real fast. Holonet influencers, frat boys, party kids, actual wastes of space and air decide they want to compete in the private sector. They pool their mommies' and daddies's allowances for a whole year, open up shop and... immediately discover just how difficult real life is. Huh. That took a turn.

From naming the "corporation" after an expletive, to their first engineering project that they went into with no experience, DFI has largely gotten by so far with help from their parents and the mentorship of paid consulting experts. But among the gaggle of stupid 20-somethings are a couple of kids who are tired of being stereotyped, and sick of being actually useless. So what does the future hold? Well, if they're as serious as they say they are about proving the whole galaxy wrong, things might get interesting.

RATIONALE
Growing up in the Galaxy's most affluent and privileged circles can leave a kid wasting away looking for purpose, a goal, something to strive for. For Uriel, that was military service in the Eternal Empire. The quest to become an excellent soldier gave him drive, direction, and his loyalty to the EE gave him passion for life. But for many of his peers, the same could not be said.... about anything.

After a close friend fell into depression and took his own life, Uriel resolved to find something, make something, that would give his friends an outlet. Something, anything to strive towards, to work for. So he challenged them to stop blowing their parents money on thrills that left them feeling sick and empty, and save it instead. It was a pretty simple idea- let's build our own car.

Not another luxury speeder: odds are, your father's bought you three of those this year alone. No, a real, good-to-honest, wheels-on-the-ground-like-a-savage thing. An ancient design. Terribly inefficient. Which is what made it fun. And made it different.

Things spiraled out of control pretty quickly from their. While lacking real practical skills, what these youths did have was influence, connections, and social standing to call in all kinds of favors. Before they knew it, the friends had a clubhouse warehouse on Takodana and a holotable full of blueprints that, even for having been drawn up by amateurs, were really bad. These idiots were going to need help. A lot of it.
