Danger, Danger, Danger.

Sasha Santhe

Majority Share Holder, Santhe Corporation
[member="Danger Arceneau"] was an astute business woman. She was also a nice client to have. Today Sasha had arranged for a shuttle to pick up Danger on Lianna to show her the fruits of her labor. As they approached the shipyard they could see the large circular vessel. IT was a trade ship, one of the first in what was to soon be a new fleet of vessels. Very few could afford them, only the largest companies of the galaxy, but it would be worth it. “As you can see, just from the exterior we have created a massive vessel capable of carrying millions of tons of cargo. The design is akin to older freighters that once plied the hyper lanes.”

Sasha turned, there was a number of other VIPs in attendance. [member="Gerion Ardik"], was among them, along with an enigmatic representative of @Darrel Irani, and [member="Marek Starchaser"] who was here representing the Techno Union, although Sasha was sure he’d try to pursue Brightstars interests while he was there.

“An exceedingly large vessel, but designed with a number of flex space that can be modified here at the yards to nearly any specification. This particular ship is designated as a trade hub.” The large vessel hooked them with it’s tractor beams and started to pull them in. There was only a slight jolt during this transition.

She nodded over to Tyrin, “Hegemonic Automaton has supplied enough droids to operate this entire vessel. Simply put a fully organic crew would cost far too much in wages for you operate a fleet of such vessels.”

They entered the hanger bay which revealed the large and expansive. It was empty, but because of the scope and size it would be easy to see the potential. “As you can see, there is plenty of space for transports to move goods from the orbital vessel back down to the planet. Or for merchants and smaller traders on the rim to park and barter their wares.” Sasha knew how Danger loved the rim worlds, and those planets had different needs than the mega haulers in the core.

Smiling back at Danger. “There are a number of systems designed to help automate the ship, but we at Santhe prefer crew, be it droids or otherwise, to operate certain systems.” She nodded to a droid operator overseeing the station with the tractor beam. “So, tell me. What do you think of my new little ship?”

Gerion lingered behind Sasha, hands folded behind his back. He had nothing to say at present. Adding anything else would probably just annoy Sasha. Gerion had a profound desire to live, so he would endeavor to not cut off Danger mid-answer while he was giving feedback to Sasha. Danger would need plenty of droids to operate these vessels, especially if she opted to produce a fleet's worth of them. On top of that, perhaps she would be interested in purchasing some of Hegemonic Automaton's ship automation systems and a few AI to go along with them. This would already be very expensive, but when one bought modern, civilian Lucrehulks and the droids to man them on a whim, the added expense of bring the vessels closer to full automation was paltry.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
How were these people finding him? Marek Starchaser was retired. He had like 3 weeks before a writer started school and he was rectified to free up storage space for the writer to do maps and stuff. But really, how did they find him? Someone was getting fired. Probably a whole department and just… rehired, replaced. The nice thing about being him? He had that kind of pull, when he wasn’t avoiding the galaxy at large.

He’d been having discussions with the Primeval to begin work on several joint projects, as well as working on securing the Tion cluster with the Silver Jedi. He was a busy behind the scenes person. Right now, Marek’s only interest was getting Sasha horizontal.

He had servants who did things for his servants. And working with Danger? Well, he had a lot of the gaming rights from her company, just needed to confirm that with the Trade Queen.

And he was drying out.

Do you know how much detox sucks?

Marek wasn’t happy.

[SIZE=10.6666666666667px]The Magister too opted not to give any verbal comments at this point in time, not in fear for retribution when it came to the fiery redheaded Trade Queen or the miss Santhe who was slowly becoming a favorite when it came to snarky remarks and ingenuity of the mind - no, the Muun was simply too busy calculating the material costs of producing one of these gargantuan designs; much else a whole fleet of them.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.6666666666667px]It almost brought a smile to his face that he was able to move amidst such [/SIZE][SIZE=10.6666666666667px]civilized[/SIZE][SIZE=10.6666666666667px] members of the Galaxy, few others would have been spending so much credits on a creation that wasn’t all about putting as much guns on the design as possible.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.6666666666667px]People were so short-sighted these days.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.6666666666667px]In the end they would keep walking, while Santhe would point out an interesting little fact here and there, facts that Vassik would store inside his ever-expanding mind like little nuggets or even [/SIZE][SIZE=10.6666666666667px]pebbles[/SIZE][SIZE=10.6666666666667px].[/SIZE]

The slow steady tattoo of the buxom Queen of Trade would survey the beauty that was of the hanger. She was notably impressed; by far this was one of the most stellar products by Santhe she’d seen thus far. Oh there were other far notable projects Santhe had designed before, but when it dealt with Trade, this one in particular stood out from the rest.

So it was to no surprise that the full hipped woman would swivel on the ball of her pumps, bright green eyes shining upon her younger and quite alluring business counterpart with a wide smile.

“Reckon you are going to make waves, Miz. Santhe,” Danger would coo in her honeyed drawl, sashaying over with that slow saunter of hers to come to a halt in the middle of the hanger bay.

“How long will it take to build one ship from start to finish?” she would ask, already her mind was mulling about the details, credits, and time it would take for a fleet of these. The woman built her empire on Trade, and with the shift of the winds in the ‘verse, opportunity was a knocking at the doors to expand to areas she had yet to.

A woman’s work was never truly done.

Sasha smiled [member="Danger Arceneau"] and licked her lips. “Make waves,” A snickering smile moved over to [member="Hion the Herglic"] who was inexplicably there, “yes I imagine so.” Moving to a side console she quickly brought up a detailed breakdown of the current construction schedule before breaking off and allowing Danger to see. Nodding to [member="Gerion Ardik"] she then said, “As you can see Mr. Ardik’s droids are not but efficient. Between them and our state of the art facilities here on Lianna we can produce one ship in four months time. This time is, of course, lengthened at other facilities but I believe that once the first few examples have been made the workers at the various yards will be able to shed time. We’ve already begun hiring more work crews from Hypori to upgrade those yards and put them to task as well.”

With a single contract such as poodoo Sasha would see her fortunes rise, and the fortunes of those in her inner circle. On each of the Trade ships there was flex space and she was sure [member="Marek Starchaser"] would be able to use flex space within the ship to build mobile casinos and gaming establishments. There was even a schematic drawn up for a an old fashion pleasure circus, though Sasha wasn’t sure if Danger would be amenable to such an arrangement.

“That seems like a lot, but remember Star Destroyers take a month or more to build depending on yards and yet you see fleets of them.” Shrugging sasha looked over the bulkheads and smiled. “And I currently have no contracts for big ships, so I’m able to shift a substantial amount of my yards and slips in orbit around Lianna and Hypori and even perhaps Coruscant to the cause of supplying you with a fleet of these vessels. Once you start adding up the numbers we should arrive at a rather impressive number within the year, the core of your fleet.”

A cacophony of sound erupted from behind them as a bulkhead behind them was affixed to the skeletal frame. “As you can see we are still in the process of construction. We add semi modular construction to the design to allow each vessel to better suit your needs.”

Out of the hanger and into a hall they walked for a minute before reaching doors that opened up to reveal a promenad. “This vessel is configured as a Bazaar. A little less cargo space but room aplenty for small stores. When you jump into a system with this ship this ship will be your market.”

Leading them over to another large panel Sasha brought up the holographic display. “There are multiple configurations for this flex space. As you can see we tried to anticipate needs, there is room for casino’s with dining area, along with smaller boutique shopping areas and of course there is a standard cargo hauling configuration where all of this is just additional cargo space. I imagine that configuration will probably make up the bulk of the fleet.” Sasha shrugged before walking up the hall. “But with this configuration you have a self contained mall, with enough space in the hangar bay to receive cargo shipments to stores and to ferry customers from the rim worlds up to make purchases. I thought this configuration best represented your corporation's intent and decided for it to be the first constructed.”

[member="Vassik Kilvaari"]

[member="Sasha Santhe"] spared no detail; that was exactly why Danger enjoyed doing business with her. A nod came from her then, studying the would be insta bazaar that could literally jump from hyperspace from place to place without requiring it to be tugged. This was a new era of trade opportunity for Arceneau. One she was keen on getting the ball rolling soon enough.

"What manner of defenses would it have?" With something this large, she was curious on what would require for it to remain safe. Would it have a fighter component? Or would she have to supply a fleet of Maladi's. Either were fine by her, but she supposed without the fighter component, she would have more room.

They both had their perks, but she was curious what the brunette had in mind.

“That is a bit of a complicated question,” Sasha said in response. “In ages past it wouldn’t have been. With a truly galactic government of the Empire and the Republic laws were easy. Now, there is a dozen major governments plus thousands of planetary domains each with their own laws. What I did was I had the legal team go through and define a civilian vehicle in the laws of as many of these entities I could and used that as a basis. Now some planets only allow a single weapon on a vessel before it is illegal, and some none at all for it to be classified as a civilian vessel. That is obviously not an option. My team eliminated those outliers and came up with a loadout which is a legally armed civilian vessel is in many systems as possible.”

Sasha winked at Danger, “Now that being said it is lightly armed with only a small array of quad laser cannons to protect it, therefore it will be forced to rely on hanger space for fighters for defense in the more wild regions of the galaxy.” The fact that Sasha primarily sold fighters of course has little to do with that decision, but to say it wasn’t a factor would be a lie.

“Of course how many hangers you devote to fighters is up to you. I’d suggest only one or two. You shouldn’t need more than that on most runs.” Of course that left the possibility of equipping the ship with even more squadrons and using it as a strange breed of carrier also existed. Sasha was already contemplating a more militarized version of the craft for future use. More weapons less cargo space. “The vessel is easily reconfigured your needs I assure you.”

At the rear of the little group towered a bipedal cetacean. His onyx and alabaster face looked congenial, in a posh elderly uncle sort of way. He smoothed the front of his navy-blue suit with a flipper and released a short puff of air from the nostrils atop his head. The suit looked strained, either from the fifty years of mercenary-turned-Jedi-turned-Sith-turned-corporatist experience, or the eight hundred pounds of blubber-bound muscle poured into it.

"If I might add a word, Miss Santhe?"

Some might have mistaken his deep, rumbling bass for the shifting of tectonic plates. "Surely you will be requiring a rather extensive amount of electrical components." On a project of such magnitude there would literally be kilometers of wiring. "The Herglic Trade Empire could aid in bulk transportation of such products from Giju. At a discount for a fellow Hegemon, of course."

[member="Sasha Santhe"].

[member="Sasha Santhe"]

"I will adhere to your suggestions, Sasha," Danger would say with a faint smile. Walking forward she would mull over the design, in her mind, ticking the bits of information she'd need.

"Could it be fully automated with Hegemonic Droids?" much like the Maladi's, she was prone to seeing the sensibility of utilizing automated systems. Not that she wanted to do away with employees of flesh and blood. While she would still employee living sapients, she wanted that peace of mind.

"And could it become self sustainable with Hydrophonic gardens?" she was all about sustainability.

Sasha looked to [member="Hion the Herglic"] and smiled. "Of course accommodation can be made. The pure amount of materials required multiple sources of such components however if I'm able to buy directly from you that would help alleviate many concerns of my own."

And then she refered back to [member="Danger Arceneau"]. "You could of course crew it with majority droid or even all droid crew. Leave the menial labor to those built for it my father used to say. He of course meant poor people, but I believe droids fit the bill nicely. I of course would always suggest having a few organics on hand to make important decisions."

And then Sasha considered for a moment the proposal of hydroponics. "There is more than enough flex space for something like that." Sirella Valkner would be pleased. "You could also add refineries or basic manufacturing facilities for ships on other runs to mining worlds and such. The ship is customizable, built with enough internal space that it should be able to accommodate nearly all of your needs."

[member="Vassik Kilvaari"] [member="Gerion Ardik"]

[member="Sasha Santhe"] [member="Hion the Herglic"]

Danger gave a smile, then gave a nod.

“Good. I am pleased with that Sasha.” Danger told the brunette. “I assume you’ll need supplies of ore and metals for its production?” there was a glint of amusement within the Trade Queen’s eyes. A tit for a tat.

Having a long term contract with Santhe in supplying them the ores, refined materials, and alloys for ship construction was a way that both companies could scratch each other’s back. If there was any company that could provide the supplies required, it was Arceneau Trade company and Mara Tibx.

It even went for fuel, so Danger was looking for any opportunity available.

Sasha looked between [member="Hion the Herglic"] and [member="Danger Arceneau"]. The truth was the Herglic Trade Empire and Arceneau Trade Company were competitors, albeit the Herglics were minuscule compared to the trade queen. Still Sasha felt compelled to help both. "A division of labor perhaps. This is a large project that needs a lot of work put to it. In addition to raw materials we will also need more advanced components, smaller circuits and machines and miles upon miles of wires. I believe it would be amenable to divide it along those lines. Metals and raw materials for the hulls and structure to be provided by [member="Danger Arceneau"]'s company while our Herglic compatriot and his ilk provide for the more delicate creations. We can split the miles of wiring between both of you." Fair is fair, and if nothing else Sasha was fair.

She nodded over to Danger, "Before we can begin mass fabrication we'll need shipments we will need you to give specifics on configurations, perhaps have a team engage with my engineers for further customization. We aim to please."

[member="Sasha Santhe"] [member="Hion the Herglic"]

Danger gave nod, smiling at both the Herglic and Sasha.

"We work well cooperatively." she would state. The Herglic Trade Empire had its perks with being able to fill niches, while Arceneau Trade was so vast that it had it's own benefits at reaching rarer items.

"Seems like everything will go along smoothly." she would murmur, looking back at the hanger.

Yes, it will all work well.

Sasha was pleased that Danger and Hion seemed to be getting along. Good. Letting out a sigh she started to look over the date from the most recently deliveries. She needed minions. Tyrin had minions, and Danger had minions. It had been a few days since the initial meeting, with orders taken up and now construction was beginning. Already hulls were being put into place but there was a problem. Since the destruction of the Sith Empire many of the yards had been idle and only now were being brought online. Typically there would have been a delay in productivity reaching optimum levels however there was no such delay here with both droids of [member="Gerion Ardik"] and men of Santhe corporation operating refreshingly competent. This however meant they were ahead of schedule, which means men and women were sitting with nothing to do as supplies from ATC and the Herglic trade empire were not set to arrive yet.

There was only one thing for it, Sasha put in a call to Danger and Hion. "So as you can see," she said finalizing her briefing, "Everything is going according to plan. Just quicker. If possible I am going to be needing the bulk resources a bit sooner, and if I may I'd like to take a tour with engineers and inspect the manufacturing sites of the various electronic devices being employed. This is a rather large project afterall."

[member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Hion the Herglic"]

[member="Hion the Herglic"] [member="Sasha Santhe"]

"It is a rather large project." Now the question on what to do next. They were on Lianna and there was still much to be done within the system. While she had brought over several trade stations to litter the sector, there was always more to do.

"I've a large project of my own." Danger would relay to her companions. "I am considering working on a large station. Much like the Citadel." it was a project of vast proportions that would require the aide of other contractors. The only condition is that Danger was moving towards making this station run on green energy.

"With sustainable green energy options."

Sasha Santhe

Majority Share Holder, Santhe Corporation
Green energy? Sasha's mind temporarily drifted to thoughts of a rather handsome zelosian man she'd once had an encounter with. But of course [member="Danger Arceneau"] wasn't talking about that kind of energy now was she? Environmentally safe. Well there was solar ionization generators that worked through space magic and apparently didn't burn fuel in a traditional sense, but then there was a mention of Citadel station. Sasha's mind went to Telos, a system neighboring her own Lianna. "That's a very large project indeed."

Eyes wide Sasha quickly recovered and greedily began to make calculations. Citadel station actually consisted of hundreds of stations, or modules, put into orbit and connected to eachother via a grid of connection tunnels and struts. This would be a giant undertaking, megalithic in scope. In the past only a near united galactic republic was able to do such things. Then again Kuat had achieved much the same in scope themselves. "Where are you proposing we place this station?" Sasha's interest was peaked.

[member="Hion the Herglic"]

The aforementioned division of labor was quite satisfactory to Orcus, especially since he had so few cards to play with in the first place. He had always been a horrid gambler. Nearly lost his family's entire fortune. They had cut him off. Sent him a way. Go play with the mercenaries, they said. And so he had. And now look at him, head of the refounded Trade Empire, once the glory of the Shapani bypass. A shame that his family had had to wheedle him with simpering flattery on his return from the dead. A disgusting display, truly. He did not suffer the embarrassment of fools.

No matter.

Their bones now rested on the ocean's floor.

Full fathom five.

A wide, toothy grin spread across his features. "Tion space, no doubt. Nearer the Mara Corridor? Regardless of the location, I will assist you with what I can along the Rimma."

[member="Hion the Herglic"] [member="Sasha Santhe"]

"Tion space does seem like a viable option," Danger began, ambling along with the Herglic and Sasha. "However I wouldn't want to interfere with the Tion Trade Nexus." That was after all, a credit funneling station for the three of them.

Her shoes would make a slight clipping sound with every step, and as she slowed one could tell she was pondering. "Etti may be a viable option." That is, after all where the budding Trade Federation was making their stand.

"Utilizing and harnessing the territory of the former Corporate Sector Authority."
