[member="Danger Arceneau"] was an astute business woman. She was also a nice client to have. Today Sasha had arranged for a shuttle to pick up Danger on Lianna to show her the fruits of her labor. As they approached the shipyard they could see the large circular vessel. IT was a trade ship, one of the first in what was to soon be a new fleet of vessels. Very few could afford them, only the largest companies of the galaxy, but it would be worth it. “As you can see, just from the exterior we have created a massive vessel capable of carrying millions of tons of cargo. The design is akin to older freighters that once plied the hyper lanes.”
Sasha turned, there was a number of other VIPs in attendance. [member="Gerion Ardik"], was among them, along with an enigmatic representative of @Darrel Irani, and [member="Marek Starchaser"] who was here representing the Techno Union, although Sasha was sure he’d try to pursue Brightstars interests while he was there.
“An exceedingly large vessel, but designed with a number of flex space that can be modified here at the yards to nearly any specification. This particular ship is designated as a trade hub.” The large vessel hooked them with it’s tractor beams and started to pull them in. There was only a slight jolt during this transition.
She nodded over to Tyrin, “Hegemonic Automaton has supplied enough droids to operate this entire vessel. Simply put a fully organic crew would cost far too much in wages for you operate a fleet of such vessels.”
They entered the hanger bay which revealed the large and expansive. It was empty, but because of the scope and size it would be easy to see the potential. “As you can see, there is plenty of space for transports to move goods from the orbital vessel back down to the planet. Or for merchants and smaller traders on the rim to park and barter their wares.” Sasha knew how Danger loved the rim worlds, and those planets had different needs than the mega haulers in the core.
Smiling back at Danger. “There are a number of systems designed to help automate the ship, but we at Santhe prefer crew, be it droids or otherwise, to operate certain systems.” She nodded to a droid operator overseeing the station with the tractor beam. “So, tell me. What do you think of my new little ship?”
