SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Maintains many of the original armor piece's tech and attachments while also reducing on several of the items. These changes were made to save on weight, make the suit overall easier to maintain and make repairs to, and otherwise allow it to be more adaptable for a Force User on prolonged missions without access to any kind of support.
  • The first reduction was the replacement of all alchemized plating and otherwise force imbued/strengthened components for standard components. This includes the armor plates, force strengthened components and other imbued defenses with more standardized and commonly available materials. This includes the incorporation of Phrik-B plating in major areas, and the removal of some plates altogether.
  • Second improvement being a higher quality light weight semi-powered armor layer in place of the bulkier more conventional power armor layer. This change in design offers a lighter weight construction due to it requiring less power to enhance the user's physical capabilities. So while the user won't have their strength augmented to extremes, instead it will allow them to carry the armor and all subsequent equipment with ease, while also being less bulky and therefore offering much better dexterity.
  • Armor's overall construction is reduced, allowing for thinner plates of actual armor plating, some of the unnecessary padding for said weight now being removed. This offers greater range of motion and makes it possible for the intended recipient of the armor able to utilize some of their own body modifications while in the armor itself. This includes a series of slots across the armor that can be toggle closed or open when pressure on said position is detected by the armor's underlayer.
  • Armor has been modular to allow for the ease of repair on multiple components if not outright replacing them or swapping them out for newer and better components. This makes the new suit much easier to maintain and upgrade over the older suit that was more focused on pure survivability.
  • Various sound dampeners and improvements to the actuators on the armor make it perfectly silent while operating, allowing for a user to move with the smoothness, grace and silence of a ballet dancer. At least until they step on something.
STRENGTHS
  • Light and modular: This armor was made for someone who likes to move fast and travel light. With the ability to quickly swap out various components and otherwise tailor the armor to each specific mission profile it gives the operator the ability to move quick, fast and in a hurry when the situation calls for it. This combined with a still robust construction and the ability to swap components makes it good for a base choice in any combat scenario.
  • It is grace: The semi-powered nature of this armor, combined with various improvements to many of the locomotion, movement and other systems make the armor almost perfectly silent to an untrained ear. This means that foot falls, arm movements, even the helmet sealing and unsealing is totally quiet. Perfect for those quiet professionals who would rather not have their image ruined by an errant actuator whining and announcing themselves to the world.
WEAKNESSES
  • Force goes both ways: This armor restricts the user's force abilities in no ways what so ever but also doesn't protect them in return. This means that various force abilities that rely on the force alone can essentially pass through the armor completely without much resistance. So you better get good at that defensive force techniques.
  • Not a lot of mass: This armor also suffers in the blast and sonic departments due to a major design flaw with a lighter armor. Without the extra mass to help absorb those pesky waves of energy, nor any internal protective pieces designed to mitigate those issues, these dangers can become a serious problem. And don't get me started on the Radiation.
DESCRIPTION
One of two pieces adopted by Damian Frost upon his newly achieved status as an Acolyte of the Sith, he needed an armor that fit his new station and would complement his new life. For this he chose two sets of armor produced locally in the Sith Empire that were mainly considered battle armor, however modifying them for specific uses. This armor was focused as his field kit, a standard go to option when the missions were varied, the dangers unknown, and the objectives could be anything. The flexibility in having a lighter armor that was also semi-powered made it so that he would always have a reliable, long term option that even when the battery pack for the suit ran out, would still be usable. And designed to perfectly complement his own body augmentations, this new armor would be the perfect set to complement mission profiles requiring long term deployments, or otherwise going to combat zones where he would fight both as a trooper, and a Sith. With newfound modularity and incorporation of various new technologies and materials, Damian would adopt this set of armor to be one of his primary kits anywhere he went. At least when he was allowed to wear something this comfortable.
