GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Planet Name: Daluwis
  • Demonym: Respective of each species.
  • Region: Wild Space.
  • System Name: Archisland System
  • System Features: The planets in the Archisland system circle a red dwarf star. Daluwis itself originally had three moons. But now, only has two. The remainder, having become the Daluwis III asteroid belt, which the debris of the destroyed fleet of colony ships and damaged orbital platforms inhabit. The moon was destroyed during an invasion by the Draelvasier.

  • Major Locations:

    Hera:
Biodome One, is named after the daughter of the Twi'lek Pioneer whom discovered the rich source of Dilarium OIl on Daluwis. Aed Janda's first biodome was built around the original drilling operation. Designed to house the Janda family and their employees when the operation was early into development. Years later, as the focus of the operation was spread out between multiple Oil Rigs and Biodomes, a catastrophic geyser-like eruption of Dilarium caused the Biodome to catch fire - leading to irreparable damage to the source of Oil and its Rig. Hera was repaired as the operations under Janda drew the attention of corporations looking to invest in colonisation in wild space, becoming a dedicated living space for colonists and workers as railways were developed between the seven biodomes.

Years on, Hera was downsized into a shielded dome - with dedicated defenses and an underground bunker system. This was in response to the spread of the Draelvasier threat near the joint of the Wild Space arm. Hera is now a half-sunken wreck, with the corpse of a singular dead Servitor stretched across its cracked dome.

    Oil Rigs:
After the accident at Hera, BIodomes became independent of the Oil Rigs. Shortly after the construction of Biodomes Two and Three, railroads were built between them and nearby drill rigs. These rigs still maintained a small, dedicated living space for full-time workers and eventually hangar bays for direct pickup and delivery as the Janda family developed into a competitive and successful corporation.

At the time of the invasion, Daluwis had a total of ninety-six oil rigs spread across its surface. All but thirty-two were utterly destroyed, with the only evidence of many being surviving blueprints and logs from Biodome Six. In the present day, four of these OIl Rigs have been repaired and re-entered active use by independent settlers.

Orbital Platforms and the Daluwis III debris field:
Toward the end of the Janda Corporations' hold on Daluwis, orbital platforms became commonplace in orbit of the planet and Daluwis III. By the time of the Draelvasiers' decade-long campaign; Janda Corporation had turned their trading and shipyard platforms into a veritable defence for their planet after decades of investment into becoming the leading provider of security for their entire system. Eventually, Janda Corporation had a monopoly on security and military contracts in most of the Wild Space arm. A niche market they conquered. Dalas Janda, then head of the Janda family and Corporation followed in his mother's footsteps in leading said security force.

When the Janda security forces were recalled to defend Daluwis, the Draelvasier split Daluwis III apart - using the debris as cover to board the orbital platforms.

    Biodome Six:
After being forced to abandon the first two Biodomes, the Janda family decided to forgo the policy of naming each dome. By the time of the construction of the sixth biodome, the Janda family had expanded into a corporation with a scope beyond a single planet or its neighbours. That was reflected in Biodome SIx. More than four times the size of the other domes, the biodome developed into a blossoming colony with funding from various corporations partnering with Janda.

When the Draelvasier destroyed Daluwis III, BIodome Six was bombarded by slingshotted asteroids, whittling down its shields until they could cripple the Biodome with a full-on assault. Biodome Six remains a ruin. A single Heldrak Burrower sits in the centre of the city. The bodies of both Draelvasier warriors and the collective armies of Janda Corporation remain hewn under its shadow to this day.
