- Arthaus Activate - The stylus and slide-out screen makes her datapad ideal for Daiya's art and sketching on the go. Even when there shouldn't be room, it makes room.
- Cryptic as Usual - CryptNet 2.0 compatibility and a zippy encryption suit lets the datapad network and exchange the data common among shadowrunners. It even has a datalink port for hardwired transfers or uploading from an inserted chip.
- Praise the Sun! - The embedded solar panel in the back allows the datapad to recharge by the power of sunlight alone, if Daiya can find any...
- This Datapad is Your Life! - With Daiya's predilection for substandard distributed data backup practices, this essentially contains her entire digital life. Breaking into to it somehow, or losing it, could deprive her of almost anything of hers.
- Physical Access is King - Even a fingerprint reader and enhanced encryption won't deter the best slicers forever. Someone with the right time and equipment could still, albeit with significant difficulty, gain access to the device.
- Too Long - Even the datapad's standard, compact, configuration is longer than some of the sleeker mobile devices available. It needs a special pocket or some mindfulness to carry around.
After the fear-inducing death of her previous datapad, Daiya acquired this replacement sometime afterward. It lives largely in her satchel when not at home with the shadowrunner, and serves as her main HoloNet/CryptNet access point. Its most featured app is the holojournal, which allows Daiya to write and sketch with the included stylus, even easier when she pulls out the datapad's screen for extra space. Considering her one-device-serves-all approach to data, an enhanced security suite helps maintain Daiya's precious information —and more importantly, her artwork!— safe from all but the most devious of adversaries.
