STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
+Quick on her feet: Daine adapts to situations easily and has an easy nature that allows her to be flexible and change plans easily.
+Crack-shot: Daine is well trained with a blaster and is an excellent marksman with a handheld pistol she keeps on her
+Smooth talker: Daine has a way with words, the makings of a diplomat, but she prefers to use them to talk her way out of nearly anything.
-Careless: She tends to take her carefree nature a little too much to heart and throws herself into many situations without thinking of the consequences of her words or actions. She's been that way since her father's death, but she tends to talk her way out of the worst of it.
-Hot-headed: Daine is quick to anger, quick to insult back, and quicker to threaten. She finds it hard to reign in her anger now that she's been cut off from her family through death and horrible circumstances.

APPEARANCE:
Daine is a slender woman, in her mid-twenties. She has a smattering of freckles across her nose and shoulders, but otherwise is pale from her time in the deep shade of the swamp and has a deep scar across her back from a blaster burn. She is very short and has been told that she resembles her long dead ancestor, the matriarch of her line.
BIOGRAPHY:
Daine was born on Tiisheraan to a well-to-do family. The family, an old name on Tiisheraan, one that had been there for centuries, remnants of a woman who had become a powerful matriarch in the flames of old regimes, a woman Daine was named after. The family now is recognized but middling. Daine’s father was a merchant who dabbled in the occasional smuggling ring while her mother managed the finances of her families business. Daine grew up well, cared for by both her parents and dreaming of a life out in space working at her father’s right hand. She became a crack-shot and was learning the ropes ad gaining her own network of trading connections to add to her father’s when tragedy struck.
When Daine was twenty-one, her father received a new client, a man known only to her as Mister Redmond. He hired her father to not only transport a shipment of various droids and machinery parts to the outskirts of Wild Space for him, but he had other, more illegal cargo on board. Daine found the prospect of going so far out into the reaches of space to be exciting and begged her father to take her along. Her father agreed and Daine was finally going to go out and see a portion of the galaxy outside her little planet and was ecstatic to be able to prove that she could be part of the business, worthy of taking over. However, this was not to last. Their ship was ambushed outside Wild Space and the cargo stolen, crew killed.

Daine was one of two of the only survivors, among the crew who had hidden her from the raiders. The raiders, hired to find the goods her father was smuggling, never found what they were looking for. Daine saved the smuggled goods, but trapped in an escape pod, barreling for the nearest planet, left little options to complete the job. The esape pod crashed on Indoumodo in Wild Space, where Daine and the last of the Crew, Eliyjah Wronn, were to be trapped. When they managed to pull themselves out of the wreckage and into the murky swamp, they quickly had to salvage what they could from the emergency kits from the pod and trek their way to the nearest settlement. Indoumodo was not the place they needed to be with precious smuggled merchandise and a bounty out on their heads. The settlement was full of outlaws and assassins, a place rife for the trading of information and nefarious deeds. Daine and Eliyjah assumed the guise of smugglers with different names, keeping to the shadows of the planet, trying to figure out the best way to escape the planet and get back home.Giving in to temptation as to why the ambush had happened, Daine and Eliyjah opened the small package that had cost the crew and Daine’s father their lives. Inside were encrypted messages to unknown names, and old, old weapons that Daine had seen before in news posts and the terrifying messages about the One Sith. Eliyjah, an experienced traveller shut the package quickly. They both knew that to be caught with these raised the wrong kind of attention across the galaxy from both the light and the dark. What Mister Redmond had wanted to do with them deep in Wild Space, they weren’t sure, but the be caught with them here meant a lot of trouble. The problem was, they were defunct, and crystals turned to dust and no longer such terrifying things. Barely worth the money or they lives they cost. Getting home would be much harder than they originally thought.
They kept to the shadows of Indoumodo to make credits, selling off bits and pieces of what they could from their pod for room and board. Their first attempt to get off-world they barely made it out of the system before being driven back to hide in the swamps with their skins intact. Eliyjah made the smart choice to hunker down in a far-off settlement until the heat died down until they were anonymous again. That meant staying low, under assumed names, assuming new roles. Daine was a crack-shot with a blaster, providing protection for a few of the more skittish smugglers on-world around the rather nefarious meeting spots while being able to kill the dangerous predators that lurked among the swamps that covered the world.
That was seven years ago. Daine has been keeping her head down, her mouth shut, and working various jobs around Wild Space for the various crooks that do their business there. Her father’s name has faded from many memories but she’s heard the whispers of the Saria Company Massacre and that there’s still a daughter in the wind with the stolen goods.
She’s been a pilot, a hired gun, a ship-hand, and more, all the while hiding two very ancient, very useless weapons from the entire galaxy and whoever it was who was who was supposed to receive them. She's been trying to get rid of the wretched things for years but every time she tries to sell them, she gets a blaster in the face and she has to run and hide for months. Now the things have begun to feel like something familiar to her though Eliyjah says that is more dangerous than anything they've faced in seven years.
