DESCRIPTION

The DAF-M1 "Legionary" Combat Armor is the backbone of the Diarchy Armed Forces, issued to every soldier from Tirones through Evocatus. Designed by DIASTEC and forged from refined Kov'dra ore, it reflects the Diarchy's core doctrine: Pax Per Bellum peace through strength.

Every cohort of 500 legionaries wears the same armor, producing a disciplined, uniform presence across the battlefield.

The armor offers very high protection against blasters and kinetic weapons, with notable resistance to lightsabers, enough to give legionaries a fighting chance against Force-users. The refined Kov'dra alloy retains traces of the metal's storied resilience without elevating the large army produced suits to relic status. Weaknesses remain, acid, radiation, and sonic weaponry bypass its defenses but the armor is reliable under the most common galactic battlefield conditions.

While role-specific kits (medics, engineers, recon, heavy weapons) will receive modular attachments, the core armor remains unchanged, ensuring that the Diarchy's legions present a unified and disciplined front in every engagement.

To wear the Legionary armor is to carry not only protection, but the weight of the Diarchy's will. It is a soldier's oath made manifest: to forge order from chaos, to defend Pax Per Bellum, and to march unbroken beneath the banner of the Diarchy.
