Do you guys remember in the early-mid 2000s when girls were dressing like this?

I feel like this is what’s happening to divs.

Oh my LORD I remember wearing a brightly colored skirt or super long shirt-dress hybrid thing over leggings with boots and a crappy denim short sleeved "jacket" as an 8 year old.

I don't remember using divs as an 8 year old, though.

Yula Perl , so you are saying that it shouldn't be loud, and annoying?

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not here to police creativity because I've seen some really creative, neat looking divs. But when my computer slows down scrolling past a div with a lot of layers/images, it sometimes does make me wish that I could hide formatting.

Yula Perl , sarcastic response gets a serious one. Lol in seriousness, I agree. It can be very annoying, and can hurt my eyes in many cases. Even more so the flashing ones. I try to follow the KISS rules when doing post formating.

In my day we didn't used to have this fancy things. We had bolding, italics AND underlining...and we liked it!

In my day we had colored pencils and paper!!!

I find really bright or complex divs hard to read so I try to keep mine simple, but I do like a nice pretty div.

I also like to colour dialogue and jusy thought that was the done thing.​
