Czeku's Folly | Dauntless Commandos [ CIS ]

Was Lirka listening that much? Not really. She didn't like authority and paid it little heed, she was told to kill things and that was what actually mattered. Stepping forward Lirka stomped her boot on the ground, without a second breath each of her warriors readied their Glaives into a combat ready position. Just after each Sephi weapon sprung to life with flaming emerald energy, so raw, so untamed: but all the while it was gracefully controlled through their curving and elegant blades. Damn Sephi and their arts, never can just be normal.

"Cor."

The command was quick, brutal, and sharp. And just as quickly as they readied each of the Sephi darted off like a blur, the poor Rodians in their way would not be ready for the whirling chaos of battle that followed them, heads left necks, limbs flew like wild, weapons were destroyed. It was vicious, ruthless, these were not people. They were targets, targets were crushed without mercy. And true warriors knew no mercy.

Lirka and her posse was a fine battering ram.

If she hadn’t been ready for the woman to charge forward with her bodyguards, then the sudden movement might have surprised the redhead woman. Even though she was, the speed and agility seen by all the members of the honor guard and Lirka herself did make her pause momentarily, before being snapped back to reality.

The next few moments were a blur to the commander. Charging forward, rifle gripped firmly in her grasp, firing quick two to three shot bursts at any rodian unlucky enough to be caught outside of cover all flashed by in her mind quickly. She could vaguely remember Pei and Crane charging forward on the wooden docks beside her, taking cover behind the durosteel crates as the trio made their way towards the courtyard of the compound. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see a rodian pulled off the dock, and into the water with a loud splash. She assumed it was their resident mermaid, Damsy, making sure the group wasn’t flanked. Luna would make sure to commemorate her for that afterword, assuming they all made it out alive.

A few more minutes of constant fighting and slow movements up the docks and the trio of commandos eventually were within sight distance of the front door of the compound. The rest of the rodians were either trying to get back inside, or hunkered down behind makeshift cover in front of the doors. The redhead commander growled to herself as she peaked over the wooden post currently serving as her cover, only to suddenly drop back down as two red blasters bolts bit into the wood beside her. “I need the front of that door cleared! Either grenade it or smoke them out while they’re focusing fire on me!” She called out, raising her rifle above the post to fire a few blind shots to make sure the rodians guarding the front door kept their blaster fire pointed toward her.
