SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Flexible - Designed with flexibility and breathability in mind, Cyran looked for the prestige of Baskar along with the ability have practically full range of motion when wearing his armor.
  • Lightweight - To Cyran it was important for him to incorporate the durability of beskar, while also avoiding lugging around heavy full plates of besakar wherever he went.
WEAKNESSES
  • Impacts - Now just because the armor itself it very durable and lightweight, that doesn't really mean that the meatsuit under it that is Cyran is. Things like momentum and the transfer of kinetic energy are easy to pass through the armor. Example, a large slug that hits Cyran in this armor won't destroy the armor, but it would certainly hurt Cyran and break bones instead of passing through him. Or if someone were to try and slice off a limb they would have trouble getting through the armor and cutting Cyran but if there was enough force behind it, the blow could break/dislocate an arm or leg.
  • Shockwaves/sonic - Also the amour is not particularly well insulated for concussive/sonic blasts. Meaning an explosive shockwave would have an easy time washing over the armor and effecting Cyran's body underneath very poorly.
DESCRIPTION
Cyran has always wanted his very own set of beskar armor. However, he was never particularly wealthy enough or really found the idea of lugging around heavy plates of the metal in the field very ideal. Through some rather extensive contemplating he and work he managed to think up an idea, or a compromise on some of the issues he had, both with affording the armor and needing to get past the weight issue.

See Cyran is and would consider himself a bounty hunter before any kind of soldier, or crusader. It just isn't practical for him to be sweating all day in heavy armor. His jobs just don't typically require that kind of overkill in protection. Also he was really only really going to be able to afford a little bit of beskar for himself so he needed to understand a way to make the most of a small amount.

That's when it dawned on him to look into incorporating it into a sort of lightweight armorweave. When he finally made contact with a mandalorian metalsmith that he could work with. They informed him that it was doable to translate beskar into a mesh armor. However, the process in doing so was rather long and tedious. But after sometime with on and off working on the rather unique set of beskar armor for Cyran it was completed. The vambraces and helmet were unable to incorporate the beskar however. Which Cyran was fine with. He wanted them to be made of Duraplast to ensure a higher degree of ionic protection. Considering they were filled with valuable tech that he didn't want being disrupted during a fight. Cyran also worked on getting the armor stylized in orange, representing his lust for life through the color of his armor.
