DESCRIPTION

Cybot Galactica is revolutionizing warfare with their newest line of battle droid, the Multi-Purpose Infantry Droid. By automating and mechanizing infantrymen, Cybot aims to save lives and make war cheaper, both emotionally and financially. When Cybot Galactica was forced to flee from their homeworld by the looming threat of the Bryn'adul, CG R&D began to develop a weapon that was just as inhuman and unfeeling as the Draelvasier themselves. The result was a new brand of mechanical fighting force designed to take the humanity and emotion out of war.

The MPID is designed to be able to work vastly longer and harder than a living being, and their low cost means fielding more is easier. The obvious downfall of the droids is Cybot's willingness to cut costs and produce them from low quality durasteel.

While a single humanoid soldier is equivalent to 2 or 3 MPIDs in terms of estimated fighting power, the droids will often outnumber humanoid soldiers by the same amount. The droids require nothing to sustain themselves on the battlefield, unlike living soldiers.

A single Master Control Signal (sold alongside the droids as needed) can control hundreds of thousands of droids giving armies unparalleled unit cohesion and organization.
