Dominion Cubed | GA Dominion of Janara III

All the fear and frustration that had bundled up inside her, hardened, and settled firmly behind her ribs, jolted when she saw Sion Lorray Sion Lorray solo and conscious enough to react. She snapped to him first, dropping to her knees to fret about the area he’d indicated. Her hands, also a little cut up, moved to brush hair aside and inspect the wound. She was worried that on top of it being an open cut, it would resurface something with the scar tissue which was clearly not a birthmark. It still had that glassy freshness to it healing scars oft’ did.

Only when she realised he was mostly fine did she, wide-eyed, look at the noisy door. The infused ones must have been in there, with all the crystals jammed into their faces.

“You karker,” she muttered and felt her unbearable concern slip away. "You did it." Relief broadened in her chest, and almost motivated her arms to wrap around him. Almost. They did not.

Instead, she occupied herself with making sure he didn’t get his hair stuck to the wetness of the cut.

"We're done here, then." She added, almost mutely. She should have said thank you, but the words felt too thick. He'd done his job, it was her that'd almost ruined everything blowing up the kyber. And she wasn't sure which frustrated her more: doubting his success and fearing the worst, or her prioritizing his safety over her goal.

One thing's for sure, she needed to get off this ship. "When they're cleansed, the crystals, their hosts will probably finally stay dead."
That made sense to her at least. And now at least this hellish cornucopia of chaos was over.
