Strengths:
+ Double-hulled frame protects the DSG1 from some attack during battle.
+ Back-up battery maintains the shield for one standard day if main power supply is cut.
+ Powerful shield emitter protects buildings/areas from bombardments, including those by Star Destroyers.

Weaknesses:
- Consumes a lot of energy, so that even the back-up battery can only last for one standard day.
- Double-hulled frame of the DSG1 cannot withstand attacks by Star Destroyers or Super Star Destroyers.

DESCRIPTION

Chasin City on Commenor, most especially the Senate Hall, has been attacked far too many times in recent history. The political climate is changing both on world and off. So the CSA government has hired it's engineers to design the CSA-DSG1 to project a protective shield system over sensitive areas, such as the Royal Palace, Senate Hall and Chasin City. Such protection provides more time for it's citizens to retreat to the shelters deep below the city in the mining tunnels/emergency shelters. If proven successful, more CSA-DSG1's will be distributed to other worlds in CSA's territory.

Can you describe the level of attack you're trying to defend from? Blaster fire? Turrets, or something more powerful?

I'm thinking along the lines of blaster cannons and turrets. So low to mid range damage causing weaponry.
