DESCRIPTION
A strange variant of heavy pistol, the CRP-01 Rim is a weapon that has been given the identification of a cartridge revolver. The revolver is designed to load cartridges into its rear cylinder, and fire the contents of the cartridge out of the barrel. While this would usually make the weapon a slugthrower, the CRP-01 uses a variety of cartridges that lets it function as different types of weapons. The various cartridges can make it difficult to really know what the weapon's owner is firing, or could instill an opponent with confidence if they don't realize the ammo can change. These advantages come with downsides though.

The CRP-01 has limited ammo capacity, with space for only six cartridges. On top of this, the cartridges have to be loaded after those six shot, and can take quite a bit of time.
