The Cursed Kind by Austenmengler
Intent: To create an artifact that can store knowledge/memories
Development Thread: Non as of yet
Manufacturer: Darth Abyss
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Darth Abyss
Modularity: No
Production: Unique
Material: Durasteel, bathed in alchemy imbued blood, lightsaber crystals
Classification: Crown
Weight: 0,8 Kg
Quality: 1
Special Features: Imbued with dark side magic in from of runes carved in the durasteel
Strengths:

-Memory Storage: The runes in the crown combined with lightsaber crystals create a force field in which memories and knowledge can be stored by the wearer. To do this the use of the dark side is requiered

-Visual memories: The crown can not only store memories, but also show the wearer a visual representation of those memories.

-Combine memories: The real power of the crown comes from its abilities to combine several memories into one. When using the memories of several people that witnessed the same situation for this, it is possible to get a completer, wider picture inside the users mind, to the point were something can be watched from an outside perspective.

Weaknesses:

-Overload: The more memories are involved in a vision the more taxing it becomes to comprehend what the crown shows. The dark side inside the crown has a seducing effect, always provoking the wearer to go further and include more memories, to the point were it is possible that the user collapses under the overload of information.

-Poor craftsmanship: Abyss is by no means a craftsman, what can be seen in both the optic and the quality of the crown. It is a crude, uncomfortable object to wear, and while the dark side keeps it together, it is fragile enough to break when put under enough pressure. (Standing close to an explosion without defending the crown for example)

-Memories aren't the truth: The crown can only show what it is saved in it. Human perception in itself is flawed, and the crown can't separate between the truth and personal bias attached to a memory.

Description: The crown wasn't forged, it was merely pieced together with violence by Abyss out of pieces of durasteel, crystal fragments and alchemical manipulated blood. As Abyss began to delve deeper into the real of runes and alchemy he decided to create another artifact, one that would fit his new moniker "The mindeater." Using a set of runes he seeked to archive two things with this crown. First is should be able to hold both his vast knowledge and the memories he ripped out of the minds of others. Second it should give him an advantage in analyzing past encounters by combining several memories in one coherent visual representation.

To archive that he used the runes: Pharnzerv, Xerilof, The Gaarn'vel, for the collection and representation of the memories and The Sith Master rune, Korribunious ,Bizor to define the target (the wearers mind) and the strength of the magic inside the crown. As with all rune based relics the most important part was to bath the steel in blood while activating the runes. This time he used his own blood, to further align the crown with him personally.

As an artifact of the dark side most gifted with the force are able to sense the crown.
