 Crossroads Feedback

As this character approaches almost 5k posts, I'm at a bit of a crossroads with him. As in, what's next?

I had a few plotlines behind the scenes fizzle out before they got started. It happens but now I'm staring at the character as if to say, what's next? The guy has accomplished his goals - he's got the business, got two heirs, has two grandkids. Beyond that, his personal life is horrible. He's lost all his friends. Both great for drama and introspection, which I need to explore more with him.

Yet, what does a NFU in his 50s do next? I've toyed with getting him involved in politics, much like the Trade Fed where he pushes and advocates for corporate powers. Yet I'm not even sure if that fits the character, I've always viewed him as more of a salt-of-the-earth type of guy rather than a slick talking politico. In my head canon, I see that more a position for the future grandkids rather than the guy who started it all.

If you were me, what would you be looking to do? Pivot(to what)? Shelve the character for a bit? Kill him off? Continue as normal? Just looking to get a perspective that maybe I had not considered before.

The nice Vanagor died, now you get me.
Never wrote with this character, but Thexann Pehnataur Thexann Pehnataur would like to change thst one day. I've read several of him and like what I see. He's intriguing but transparent at the sane time (difficult to make cool, let alone pull off).

Crossroads happen. Let HIM decide. You want something different? Get the grandkids going and keep him around as an elder sort.

Kill him if it's time, otherwise you'll regret it(trust me, Caltin would die until the 4th try)

Well. My first instinct would be to add more struggle to the character. Lose the Empire/Part of the Empire. Have things spiral for him, whether that be in business, family, etc. He might have to make new friends and alliances to regain his footing? To me it might be interesting to see how he handles everything being in his 50s now, versus when he was young building up all of this. Will his kids/grandkids stick around and support him? Will old business partners still support him?

Ultimately I dont think killing him is the move. If nothing speaks to you, shelve him for a while till something sparks your interest.

Sounds like you already got any idea where to go next tbh.

But... YOu could make Judah a NPC. You dont have to kill him off per say. This way you could focus on writing his legacy through w/e children or other relatives he has. Judah could even stick around and make appearances for guiding them or w/e he would do.

OR you could kill him off...
