Description: A variant of Crinan fighters fielded to a lesser extent than the Crinan Interceptor, mainly due to their less efficient manner of mass production, but still viable construction. Imperial Assembly improvements to the Crinan Royal Industries shipyards has enabled Crina's engineers to put the heavy fighters into development for more than just elite units once again. Though the fighters themselves are nothing incredibly different from modern fighters designed offworld aside from their thick armor and heavy focus on more laser cannon weaponry over missiles.

Slow and perhaps cumbersome, the Crinan Heavy Fighter is actually a better atmospheric craft than the Interceptor, and much more comfortable for the pilot as well. However, it cannot reach the max speeds of the Interceptor nor match its maneuverability in the expanses of space. All the same it sports the heaviest weapons of any Crinan designed fighter craft, boasting a repeating laser cannon, two heavy laser cannons, and a concussion missile launcher. And its armor plating was a godsend to pilots fearing to be at risk once their shields though, even if it did leave them slower.

All the same very few squadrons of the craft were put into service in the civil war, as their slow speed put them at risk at AA fire and left them vulnerable during large scale conflicts in atmosphere with Crina's favoritism of missile launchers on their larger warships prior to Imperial invasion. Now with Imperial backing though these fighters look to see more service.

I don't like the new template's layout, its very confusing for me to read it in that order. I prefer the description to come before the statistics and that's the only difference. it also doesn't make sense to have the intent and who it belongs to be so far away from affiliation. In addition I've seen plenty of submissions sent in with altered templates both before the rework and after for better visual appeal without complaint.

I'd like to ask my submission be judged on content, which it fulfills to the new templates standards. I haven't left out any areas. Note the old template did not have strengths, weaknesses, or separate speed and maneuverability. I have sent information in in this format for everything else since the new template has been out and this is the first I've been bothered over it. I've not had any problems with other judges who've looked over my submissions.
