Description: A simple blaster carbine, it is the Crinan military's primary firearm. Meant for mid and close ranged combat, the Crinan Carbine emphasizes stopping power over long range accuracy. Used by both the Royal Army and Rebel Forces during the civil war, it was quite common to see much of the fighting be its most intense whenever combat entered into the tighter quarters of the villages than over the open ground of the plains and farmland where the Crinan Rifle was a more effective choice. Regardless, despite its setbacks in the more common terrain of the war, the weapon excelled as a weapon of choice for elite soldiers of both the Royalist Squads and the Resistance Fighters who wielded it due to its nature of cutting down enemies quickly when it did hit them, not to mention its inclusion of a grapple launcher allowing for quick scaling in mountainous regions or large population centers, though the feature also appeared on Crinan Rifles too.

However, the Crinan Carbine was originally conceived as a policing weapon, meant for use by soldiers in towns to put down dangerous criminals quickly more often than not. Yet it was truly designed to be the stopping power in the case of rogue Practitioners, providing the soldiers of the Royal Guard and Army with a weapon that could put them down before they could wield their deadly and perhaps even forbidden spells. In this way it was supposed to be a tool to level the playing field for soldiers without magical abilities like the Crinan Practitioners who also performed much work prior to the civil war in keeping the peace with their wise judgments and unique powers.
