While Shai didn't see any issue with her actions, she had a feeling that her comrades would not be happy. That didn't matter. Maliphant was their target, anything else was irrelevant. She would only care about the civilians when they either had Maliphant knocked out in a cell, or his head in their hands. Her actions had the desired effect as the exits were cut off and the crowd disoriented. From her elevated position, Shai had all the visibility she could ask for.

Faison gave a more diplomatic warning that would likely have no effect whatsoever. Over the comms she heard Siv ask for a visual on the target which earned a growl from the Shistavanen. :: Workin' on it. :: She answered quickly as she scanned the crowd. Then she saw him. The only being who seemed to move with direction in the sea of disoriented wandering. The white hair finally stood out as the crowd buckled and fell around, allowing Shai to ping him with her HUD for the rest of the group. :: Target sighted, Faison behind you! :: She called in as she flipped the fire control of her rifle and let loose two bursts aimed directly at Maliphant, careful not to hit Faison. It seemed she and Kranak were on the same wavelength with their spotting.

The shots happened as he attempted to get away from Faison and got roped towards Kranak, her sighting taking the movement into account as she fired the explosive bolts. She was caught by surprise when her body moved without her say-so, though her repulsor boots and jetpack did an excellent job to counteract the push almost immediately.

Shai shifted her position towards Faison and to get better visual on Maliphant as he ended up by Kranak. Between her bolts and Kranak's fist, she would be impressed if he was still breathing.

For good measure, she fired another burst at the Sith as he laid on the floor... just before he turned around to try and electrocute Kranak. The attack would hopefully prevent him from letting loose on her comrade. Things started to get weird when another ping appeared on her HUD that targeted another Maliphant. :: Faison! :: She shouted as her grappling line shot out to yank him away from the attack before it could land. Simultaneously four whistling birds fired towards the second one with blistering speed, locked onto him and coming from four completely different directions ahead and behind him. :: Keep spitting, Eliz. He's here. He's not getting away. :: She answered. The crowd was clearing up around them, a relief for the lot of them. Hopefully the rest wouldn't be coming down on her head now after her stunt.

With her on high alert and ready to move, she carefully studied the area around them all for any other surprises.

  • Shai shoots 2 bursts at Mal as he gets yeeted towards Kranak, movement taken into account
  • Jetpack and repulsor boots counters force push from Mal
  • Moved closer to Faison, still in the air.
  • Fires another burst before Mal can unlimited powah Kranak
  • Ropes Faison away in attempt to prevent him from getting shamked. Simultaneously shoots 4 whistling birds at the copy with them tracking his movement.
  • Talks smack on radio

Adi'ka tried to do her part in the chaos and sent the overridden droids of the bar into the fray.
All manner of service, maintenance, card dealer and even advertising projection droids began swarming the sith lord and his copies from all sides.

Their goal was to distract the darksider and hinder his dirty melee tricks against her Mandalorian brothers and sister.

All self-preservation protocols were overridden too and so a horde of droids was attacking the evil lord and his mirror images with thrown bottles, plasma torches, flashing electro cables and even dust mops.

The crowd was a raging sea of Chaos.

To any inexperienced hunter, it would've been a rolling ocean of noise and fear. They would have been overwhelmed by the dark lights, the packed crowds, or the throbbing alarms. But Siv was no inexperienced hunters. He'd tracked targets over dark days of cold rain and sleepless nights. He'd descended into the bowels of a half-dozen criminal underworlds, and a mass panic did not phase him. He was not some Force User to be crippled by an outpouring of emotion.

The only emotion he felt was his own; his cold, calm, calculating. His will was frozen solid, unmalleable, unbreakable. And it wouldn't be deterred by simple party tricks.

His glimpse of the Sith Lord had been brief, but just enough that his biosensors had been able to register a more-or-less accurate scan-ident of Siv's target. Now, he switched his heads-up-display to scan for that biosensor, filtering out the background noise that was the panicking crowd. Lights flickered on and enough as the club's emergency fire suppression system activated; cold liquid began to pour from the ceiling, falling as if it were rain.

A bright glow on his display alerted Siv to the fact that his sensors had picked up a trace of the Sith Lord. He immediately began vaulting his way through the upper level of the club, most patrons moving aside when they saw the armed, swift-moving Mandalorian; those who didn't, he muscled his way through. He ducked underneath an open stairwell and through a wide doorframe when he came into a large party hall, and he saw that he hadn't been the first to the party.

Several Mandalorians had already engaged the Sith Lord -- except for the fact that there were two of them, identical in appearance and biosignature, or at least a copy so good that it fooled Siv's scan-ident. He gritted his teeth in frustration, before holstering his blaster and drawing out his short kal dagger instead. "Maliphant!" he roared at the two copies, bellowing to be heard over the fighting. "All the Sith I have known were creatures undeserving of even the smallest drop of pity, but they were not cowards to hide behind your Force magicks. If you truly think yourself a Dark Lord, then fight me one-on-one and prove to me your superiority, if that is indeed what you think you are." It was a gambit alright; a bet that the Sith Lord's pride, or perhaps bloodlust, would make him end his illusions. But if that happened, Siv had to be prepared to fight a Sith Lord.

Alone.

Faison's kick landed, which threw the Sith off balance and allowed for Kranak's grapple attack to successfully gain purchase. Faison grinned sardonically as Kranak's blows to the Sith caused the karking son of a kath-hound to bleed from his battered face. He kept his sword in a readied stance, about to approach the prone figure when lightning immediately ripped through the Sith Lord's fingertips at Kranak. Just as Faison was about to charge to intervene alongside Shai's efforts to also aid their vode, he heard his name get called yet again. 'I never thought I'd get tired of that.' He hardly had time to really be annoyed however, as Shai used her grapple tool to pull him out of the path of a duplicate of the Sith Lord, who had snuck up behind the Mandalorian and activated his lightsaber with a crisp 'snap'. Shai's maneuver, however fortuitous and appreciated, would not spare Faison entirely.

The blade bit into his beskar'gam, the uncompromising metal groaning under the inexorable energy blade. Shai's tug kept him from being fully subjected to the blow, but the blade still struck his armor as he glided backward. While it didn't penetrate, given the high resistance of his armor to energy weapons and lightsabers, it had a similar result to a stout punch or stab. Faison let out a stifled grunt, but outside of that remained unharmed thankfully. He whirled about, regarding the duplicate with a wry grin as Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud 's droids began comically pelting the two 'Maliphants' with whatever debris was at hand. This afforded Faison time to twirl his blade with a subtle flourish, then charge at the form who attempted to impale him. Whether it was the real Maliphant or not, he would show this bastard what it meant to face a Mandalorian in even combat.

He lashed out with his blade, sending a sweeping horizontal slash at "Maliphant's" midsection. His grip on his blade was strong, both hands guiding the blade forward, but ready to respond should the Sith Lord counter with some form of a riposte or feint. Faison had heard tales of the Jedi & Sith's mastery with a blade, so he was mentally ready for anything. Siv's roar was heard by Faison over the din, but he cared not for his companion's theatrics. While he regarded Siv with the utmost of respect, theatrics wouldn't win the day. Not when battle had already been joined. Their enemy had no honor in Faison's mind, so he did not feel particularly obligated to act in such good faith as to allow the Sith to engage in the duel Siv proposed. Not unless something drastically changed.

With a sickening yet satisfying meaty thud, his left hook found its mark mid air, sending Maliphant to the ground face first in front of him, unmoving for a brief moment. Kranak had felt the Dark Lord’s right cheek bone crack and bust beneath his fist. Maliphant’s blood splattered onto the Supercommando’s left gauntlet. The giant Supercommando couldn’t help but chuckle to himself grimly at his -and Faison’s- handiwork. The move was very well executed in a coordinated fashion.

The grappling hook around the Dark Lord’s neck uncoiled and reeled back into its housing on his right vambrace with Kranak’s command to the interactive heads-up display. He was reaching for the
Mandalorian Manacles in his buttpack at the back of his war belt to bind the Sith Lord and put an end to this while he approached him. He heard a sinister voice calling out to him from all directions within close proximity.

”Good hit.”

It was the Dark Lord, complimenting his opponent with a soft voice. This mind trick of the Sith Lord would not surprise him, nor pause him from his advance and take a glance at his surroundings to find the unseeable source of the soft voice. He had experienced this before. Just a mere moment after his compliment, the Dark Lord stirred and turned onto his back with his hands and his fingers extending towards the Supercommando.

The giant immediately halted and assumed a defensive melee stance with his fists raised at chin level and elbows tucked over his ribs, planting his feet to the ground firmly. He thought he was about to be Force Pushed, but a fate far worse awaited him. Bright, pulsing, energetic arcs of blue lightning shot out from the Dark Lord’s fingertips straight at Kranak. His beskar’gam was somewhat resistant to electrical based attacks and hazards, but this was far too much than what his armor could have handled.

The sheer power behind the Force Lightning caused him to stumble backwards as his armor’s personal shield generator’s energy was sapped in mere moments, sacrificing all its charge in exchange for protecting the Supercommando from the vicious retaliation, but it was not enough. His energy shield dissipated in a few seconds, entering a state of cooldown and recharge, leaving Kranak completely vulnerable to the Dark Lord’s attack.

His nerves all across his body burned in tremendous pain as the arcs of lightning struck him. He was a very strong warrior, capable of withstanding -shrugging off, even- injury and pain that would have killed lesser beings. But this was unlike anything he experienced before. It felt like he was being burned alive by a star.

<”
Aaaaaaah!”>He had endured the pain for only a couple of seconds before letting out an agonized, blood curdling shriek. The scream would only be isolated in his helmet, and into the hunters’ commlink circuit. His brothers and sisters would hear his agony over the commlink. The giant gave way at the knees and collapsed onto his back a few moments later. The Supercommando’s body convulsed in terrible pain. His heart beat and blood pressure rose considerably from the Force Lightning. His vitals would show up as ‘INCAPACITATED’ in his fellow vode’s HUD’s for the time being. He would be in dire need of bacta.

  • Grappling hook coiled around Maliphant’s neck successfully. Kranak ripped the Dark Lord from hiding with Faison’s assistance. Kranak landed a well timed left hook on the Sith Lord’s face.
  • Approached the Dark Lord to bind him with Mandalorian Manacles and capture him in hopes of taking advantage from his downed state, but was incapacitated shortly after the Sith Lord counterattacked with Force Lightning at him.
  • Kranak is writhing in terrible, great pain on the floor on his back, unable to reach for a bacta grenade to soothe his pain and get back into action.

So much to do in so little time.
This first of the clones, who had sent lightning into the now writhing form of Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla , twisted a hand back around to catch the rounds sent at it by Shai Maji Shai Maji . Were he given more time, he could've frozen them in stasis, even sent them back using little more than the Force; but the first round was all he would stop. The second snapped past his grasp and slammed into his palm; searing skin, breaking bone and sending pain up his arm. Mangled, he shook at it while it dripped blood, forcing a bloody grimace on his face as ruby eyes searched for a weapon.

Diving into a roll, he deftly grabbed the beskar axe from the belt of the mandalorian on the ground and moved to stand once more. Healing wasn't a Sith's strong suit, but he could keep what remained of his hand together using telekinetic pressure; if only for a bit of time. As he came to stand, the axe would swing out before him - looking to rend bone and flesh from Eliz Krayt Eliz Krayt before throwing it with enhanced and coordinated effort back towards Shai Maji Shai Maji .

For the other, there was a brief moment where the lightsaber pike he carried would slam into the ground - using it as leverage to stop the strike to his midsection. Yet that was only for a moment - and the staff soon disappeared as the Sith back tracked away from the Man before him. Fists raised, he seemed to take a recognizable Teras Kasi form - specifically meant to disarm those of high skill with blades. The man offered a smug grin as he began to round Faison Kelborn Faison Kelborn -slapping away the robotic annoyances with minimal effort - though their sheer amount would serve to hinder his ability to defend himself if he didn't end it quickly. So, his movements would be quick and instant-

A telekinetic jerk broke free on the man's heel to offset his balance as Maliphant rushed forward - but instead of a Teras Kasi strike, a spear of pure dark side energy formed in his hand, a blade in itself directly at his chest, mid center. It was a lightning fast blow, one built on suprise but had its realest foundation in the pure speed Maliphant had built up through years of training. It would be enough to realize that he was a master of the craft, just as he had heard others were.
The staff, however, would appear in yet another Maliphant's hand. Appearing suddenly next to Siv Dragr Siv Dragr , the newest iteration of Maliphant held the staff with a profound confidence. His gaze wasn't even on the man himself, but rather the two other fights taking place across the club. He hummed something as fingers tightened on the staff;

"Do the Mandalorians have names for honor duels?", he said with a cock of his brow, still not looking at the mandalorian who challenged him.

"The Sith do - we call them Kaggaths. We only honor them from other Sith however. Were I to accept your challenge, would that make me an honorary Mandalorian?", he said smugly, finally turning to face the ringleader of this operation.

"Perhaps I would make a fine Mandalor. Better than your last few, at least.", he laughed.

"The dirt off of my boot would make a better Mand'alor than you, Sith osi'kyr," Siv spat. He pretended to be unfazed by the sudden apparition of the Sith Lord, though he cursed himself for not anticipating it. If he could make two copies, then what was a third? And which was the real one -- if any of them actually were?

He drew up in a traditional Mandalorian stance, his Skira dagger held reverse-grip resting lightly over the top of his left vambrance, raised as a sort of counter or shield at chin level. Unlike most fighters, Mandalorians like Siv didn't need to worry about any of the weapons that a Sith Lord could be carrying; lightsabers could not cut through beskar, so as long as he was effectively able to parry the Sith's weapon with a plate, he would be fine, relatively speaking.

Siv was also not going to let the Sith have the first move -- light on his feet, he closed the short distance between them, violently slashing putward from his center-of-mass at the Sith's face with his dagger, then as quick as a lightning flash, he spun the knife so it was in standard grip and slashed back in, this time the cut coming down to aim across the Sith's neck. In the same time, he swept with a left foot, aiming to off the Sith off balance, before elbowing Maliphant forcefully with his dagger hand to push back the Sith Lord and give some space, ready for counterattack.

Eliz_div.png

"Huh?"

Eliz stared blankly at Darth Empyrean Darth Empyrean as the Sith rolled from his strike. He'd done every right, right? From his understanding of the Force, or really lack there of, he should have gotten the man. No matter. He was still hurt. The Half Chiss moved after him, fully intent on backing up Shai Maji Shai Maji as the clone tossed the axe towards her. He took a step forward, bringing his arm back to ready a swing of his Beskad for the now exposed Sith.

Or would have. His eyes caught a glint of steel close by. His sword, but it wasn't raised for a swing. No, it was by his feet. When did he drop it?

The realization came slow. The young Mandalorian stumbled back a step as his mind began to process what he was looking at. His Beskad was on the floor. Holding it, his arm. It had to be his arm, right? That snow colored beskar only belonged to him, right? There was no pain, just numbness. His Beskar'gam did a good job of flooding him with stims before the pain could overwhelm him.

Finally he looked towards where his arm should be. Just below the elbow, between the gaps of the suit that was much too large for him, he could see it. Blood dripping from where his arm should of been connected. His eyes widened as he fell back. Panic took over.

He'd lost his arm.

Everything was going to hell in a matter of moments. First Kranak got the full force of the Sith Lord's lightning, the next moment Eliz was on the ground without an arm. In the wake of it all, she didn't register the implications of that, her mind was focused on the danger to her and her squad mates. She was ready to fire another salvo at the Sith but a sudden impact tilted her backward.

The axe slammed into her shoulder, between her cuirass and pauldron with her body glove torn open. If she wasn't almost legally a droid, she would likely have suffered the same fate as Eliz, at least the armour plating of her arm and shoulder held up. But the axe wasn't the immediate concern, as she spun and shifted her weight, her jetpack's thrust worked against her and sent her careening back against a nearby pillar. The impact cut her jetpack out and drove the air out of her cybernetic lungs as she crashed to the floor. She blinked a few times as her eyes went static for a second or two, but luckily the cybernetics bounced back. With a mighty breath she got her lungs settled and pushed herself up off the floor.

This guy was getting on her nerves.

She fired at the copy attacking Faison in hopes of helping him to get an advantage over his opponent. But it wasn't a solution, they needed to get the source. Her repulsor boots launched her through the air to the suspected real Maliphant. She already shot his arm to pieces, why not break the rest as well? As she cleared what remained of the crowd, her rifle fired two more bursts at the Sith. Once she got close enough, two more whistling birds shot out to target him. If she could at least push him away from Eliz and Kranak, there was a chance to get them to safety. Though, at such a close range, she had a far more nefarious surprise for him.

Her right vambrace came to life as flames and searing plasma sprayed towards him. "Let's dance, schutta!" She roared as she closed in, ready to move in case he had a funky trick up his sleeve.

The personal flash-bang for the poor Lepi was the screeching of her injured vod on radio.
The sensitive ears of the lagomorph were deafened by the cry of agony, and for precious seconds she was nearly unconscious.

The pain was still there and the ringing in her ears was nauseating as the firework of tiny sparks before her eyes subsided.
Adi'ka was fighting the urge to bolt and run or to remove her helmet.

Instead, she tried to focus on the HUD. That looked bad! Really, really bad! This mission was going down the sarlacc pit pretty soon. The demonic sith lord was not the soft target he seemed to be. Her vode were fighting for their lives and to keep their body parts in place.

She was even worried about Shai sweetcake Krayt. The smith had overreacted, but Adi'ka was sure that was the fault of the mind tricks of the sith. Perhaps not this sith, but of the sith for sure. The mild-mannered soft furball had never been so hard.

The heart of the little lagomorph sank. The war and conflicts were not good for her friend. She had to convince her to return to the forge before her soul was lost to the abyss of the sith.

But first they all had to survive this catastrophe camouflaged as a mission.

Time to go Old Republic!

She discarded her sniper rifle for the Verpine magna caster railgun. With her droids as spotter in the fight, she punched holes through the concrete walls of the building and sent high velocity armour piercing rounds against the sith lord, avoiding her vodes and civilians.

"Cast that aside, stage magician!", she snarled.

As steel clanged against saber, Faison gritted his teeth. He was quick with a blade, and was about to push forth with yet another attack just when his opponent lept back a few feet to place some distance between them. The saber was absent from his gasp, with the "Sith" adopting the stance of Teras Kasi - a martial form which favored those without a melee weapon. Faison may have been within the grips of his adrenaline-fueled battle state, but he was not stupid enough to underestimate his foe, who had thusly brought low two of their number in as many minutes. He placed his feet in a defensive stance, but performed a slight feint of his own. He reached forth and goaded his opponent with his off hand. Just as he did so, a pair of blaster bolts shot forth from his wrist-mounted blaster, aiming center mass on his opponent just prior to the Sith freeing himself momentarily from the projectiles being thrown at him from Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud

Faison felt his right heel yank forward, but the combination of Adi'ka's interferance plus his own surprise duo of blaster bolts gave the Mandalorian enough time to bring his blade up and over to narrowly deflect the force-weapon away from its intended target - namely, to try and run him through center mass. The 'blade' would narrowly miss striking through the mesh lining between his right shoulder-pauldron and his breastplate, instead glancing off of the pauldron itself. The sheer speed of the Sith's attack combined with his strength prevented Faison from drawing his sword into a riposte in the hopes of gaining some fortuitous strike, but there was one thing in Faison's favor at this stage. Much like his Sith opponent, Faison had no qualms about fighting dirty.

Not when his enemy was as honorable as an Askajian 'lady of the night' (don't ask). While his right hand was occupied with deflecting the blow with his sword, his left hand instantly surged forth - the 6-inch blade in his gauntlet pushing out as he launched a vicious punch directed into this "Maliphant's" mid-section. Assuming he didn't possess even more supernatural abilities to avoid what would otherwise be a certain blow, the blade would bury itself into his gut with the full force of a Mandalorian's strength, which would be followed up with a sudden burst from Faison's armored head as he lashed out with a headbutt.

The fight thus far had gone somewhat in his favor. Two Mandalorians were incapacitated, four more were on the chopping block - and so long as he carried the strength of Kala'anda, he would not tire soon. Siv Dragr Siv Dragr moved forward for the blade forcing Maliphant to lean back, though his smile did not depart. The blade came within inches of cutting him - but it missed, if only slightly. A few strands of silver hair floating by them gave creedence to just how close the strikes were.
Just as the elbow and trip appeared however, Maliphant would dissapear in a flash - bringing the weight of the staff around his head and into the beskar covered ribs of the man before him. Lightsabers could be stopped by beskar - if not being painful for the recipient, but to be hit with a staff capable of rending apart military droids with the sheer blunt force of it alone was tantamount to bruising the man's lungs and busting a few ribs, even if the damage wouldn't be apparent.

For the Maliphant facing Faison Kelborn Faison Kelborn , the rounds from both him and Shai Maji Shai Maji would tear at the suit's immaculate design, revealing the anti-blaster armorweave within it. An assumed plating, splashes of heat had made it under the jacket however - and the Sith's hip was notably burned even despite the coverage from the shirt he wore. With teeth gritted, Maliphant lowered himself as the Mandalorian before him moved to strike - but likely to the Mandalorian's suprise, Maliphant did not move when the blade came.

Instead, when the blade made it into his side, Maliphant used the reinforced strength of the Force to pull it in tighter. Blood soaked the off white shirt beneath his suit jacket, but it would not slow him as he met the head butt with a head butt of his own. His vision blurred, blood trickling from the split on his head - the Sith Lord opened his black eyes upon his opponent and smiled.

"We Sith are often just as hard headed as you Mandalorians.", he mused, before his free hand brought the spear of midnight black just below the stomach plate of the man he faced. A hit for a hit, all he needed to do was kill.

The last of the Maliphant's watched as Shai Maji Shai Maji charged him - bringing the force to bear when the multiple small projectiles raced towards him. They would be caught in a field of metaphysical energy that kept him safe - yet he was suprised when she brought forth the plasma thrower. For a split second, he moved to bring the projectiles infront of him - to stop it all and redirect what he could, but the harsh slap of verpine rail gun rounds breaching the wall next to him broke any plan he had.

Adi'ka Awaud Adi'ka Awaud 's shots hit the Maliphant nearest Shai with a sickening thud, launching the man meters away from where he once stood in confidence. He hit the ground with a violent slam, and went limp only a moment after. Those closest would hear the soft groan of a man's last breath - but to their dismay, the body fell to ash only a second later. The ash into nothing, and the room felt colder for it.

Falling on his back, Kranak remained incapacitated on the ground as the fight to subdue Darth Maliphant raged on. The sounds of melee reverberated from multiple directions, accompanied by loud shrieks of blaster fire occasionally.

The giant could not move a muscle to stop the Dark Lord from grabbing his beskar tactical hatchet from his belt. He tried to lift his arms so he could try and grapple him, but couldn’t. Every time he tried to move, his entire body burned as the intense pain lingered. It felt like he was being electrocuted again and again as he tried to lift his hand. It was almost unbearable. A lesser being than the giant Ori’ramikad would have certainly gone unconscious from the sheer, excruciating pain.

The giant’s chest rose and fell slowly. Each pull of breath stung him sharply. Gritting his teeth with a grimace trying to endure the pain, he unwillingly halted his attempt to stop the Dark Lord from taking his hatchet from his throes. He would see what he would do with the edged weapon, though. The beskar head of the hatchet glared sinisterly under the dim red emergency lights of the nightclub as it came swinging down at Eliz, in a chopping motion. His heart sank at hearing the distinct sound of sharp iron meeting flesh and bone.
<No!> He exclaimed internally. He wanted to shout at the Dark Lord to get his attention away from the young Mandalorian, but all he could blurt out was a protesting, muffled groan.

Eliz’ severed limb dropped to the ground. The giant Ori’ramikad was infuriated at the sight of the young Mandalorian’s crimson life essence flowing freely from his injury. Hate and anger towards the Dark Lord coursed through the giant’s veins. He had to do something! He refused to lie down, unable to help any of his vode! He was determined to change that, however.

The giant was perhaps broken in body at the time, but not in mind and spirit.
<”Hrrngh.. Aaaargh!”> With a pained growl and shout, he started to raise his left hand over his chestplate to reach for one of his bacta grenades from his bandolier. It took him several attempts, but he reached for one at last. With his left hand clutching the bacta grenade, the giant pressed down on the small, red plastoid cap with his thumb to engage the priming mechanism.

Several seconds later, the bacta grenade popped and hissed, releasing a cloud of bright blue bacta on him and over a four meter radius around him. The Supercommando heaved a relieved sigh. He felt an instant relief from the excruciating pain. The pain still lingered, but it was no longer as intense as it once used to be. He could move his muscles now. A few seconds after the sweet release of the bacta, and with his bacta processing implant immensely speeding up his recovery, the giant rolled to his left on the ground and stood up. Without wasting any more time, the giant rushed to aid Eliz.

The giant baar’ur pulled him to the side as he grabbed his right arm to get out of harm’s way first. He would not be able to completely patch up the young lad, however. He would only stabilize his condition and cauterize the hacked limb to prevent any further blood loss. His bleeding was fatal.

<”You’re gonna be okay! Hang in there!”> Not a moment after disengaging the magnetic mount of his backplate, the giant smoothly slipped off his medical backpack from his back and unzipped its lid and reached for a
grav-press bandage cuff inside. After wrapping it around the lad’s bicep and activating the grav-press with the push of it’s button, Kranak would reach for a field cauterizer to disinfect and cauterize the young Mandalorians' wound. He would complete the medical procedure swiftly, if he went about his work uninterrupted by the Dark Lord.

Whatever the outcome, the giant did not have the means to re-attach Eliz’ severed limb. Certainly not while they were in the middle of combat. Mending the severed bones, veins, flesh and nerves… Even with the advanced medical technology of their time, the surgery would take hours to complete. It was not something he could do here, even after the fight was over. Barbatos was far away from Kestri, too. A severed limb could survive up to twelve hours upon separation from the body. The giant was also ill equipped to store a severed limb for re-attachment later.
<Kark!> The Vizsla exclaimed internally, cursing at the Dark Lord in silence.

  • Kranak no longer incapacitated. Used a bacta grenade to heal up. Healing process immensely sped up by his Bacta Processing Implant. Pain reduced, but he’s still in considerable pain.
  • Rushed to aid Eliz with his injury.Tied around a grav-press bandage above the severed left arm, a few inches above the wound, around his bicep to stop the hemorrhage.
  • Reached for a field cauterizer from his medical backpack after making sure the hemorrhage was halted to disinfect and cauterize Eliz’ wound. He will successfully complete the short and simple medical procedure if uninterrupted by the fight.

Shai quickly halted and touched down on the ground as Maliphant simply flew off in a direction... with another familiar face barging through a wall, rifle in hand. She was seeing way too many familiar faces on this hunt, this was not a natural occurrence. Regardless, She glanced at Adi with a light salute. "Good shot, Adi." She greeted.

The moment was very quickly ruined when Maliphant simply collapsed into dust and the other copies kept fighting. Shai's mood soured further and seeing Eliz on the ground without an arm simply worsened it. "Where the kriff is he?!" She roared as she looked around with her weapon ready. She moved back to stand guard beside Kranak as he worked to save Eliz from bleeding out. "Kranak can he move? We need to get him out of here fast." She commented, opening a comm channel.

:: Baby, come in. We got a priority, he needs to get to a hospital as quickly as possible. Get over here, blow a karking hole in the roof if you have to. ::

A beep of confirmation came back and a few moments later a piercing howl erupted above the club, drowning out the chaos of the battle very quickly. A few seconds later the roof was torn open as a golden stream of particle cannon bolts tore a hole into the roof, impacting the ground all over with several explosions big enough to rival a grenade. Unfortunately the rotary cannon fire was indiscriminate, with a couple of rounds, along with debris coming down, impacting the areas close to the remaining civilians that didn't get out yet through the holes Adi's droids made for them, as well as the areas close to Siv and Faison. At least their armour would be able to absorb the potential danger.

Baby descended through the gaping hole in the roof as its engine's thrust blew down on everyone on the dance floor. But its focus was not to engage as it touched down next to the group close to Elix. "Kranak, get him in the cockpit!" Shai ordered as she fired two shots at each of the two copies of Maliphant in hopes that she could get a score on the real deal. For the rest of the time, she watched carefully as Baby opened its heavily armoured cockpit for him to load Eliz in.

What the fuck.

"What the fuck." What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck.

Eliz just stared at his arm. No, lack of arm. Blood was pouring out. It jumped a little every time his heart beat. Was his heart really beating that fast? He couldn't breath. Without thinking about it he went to rip off his buy'ce so he could breath. He needed air. Fresh air. Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla ? His helmet turned to the giant. Was he speaking? What was- owe. His gaze turned towards his arm as the grav press engaged.

Oh. He wasn't dying anymore.

Then he screamed. Just a wild, unhinged scream.

Before Siv's elbow and trip had time to connect, the Sith vanished in a flash. Cursing, Siv pivoted, only for the Sith to slam his staff into Siv's torso. The ablative damper in the beskar'gam absorbed most of the brute kinetic force, thankfully, preventing any real injury, but he felt himself forcibly gasp as the wind was knocked out of his lungs and he fell to a knee.

It seemed that the Sith had erred, though, overestimating the damage that the attack would have done. Its mistake. Siv flexed his right arm, and with a crackle of electricity his Tarka'yayr electrowhip shot out from his vambrace to coil around the Sith legs. It tightened, and electricity pulsed through the dual-weave cortosis beskar filament. It wasn't enough volts to kill a man, but would shock the Sith if he didn't have any electrical protection -- what more, should the Sith attempt to cut himself free with the lightsaber, the cortosis in the whip would instantly deactivate the blade.

Standing up with his strength returned to him, Siv pulled at the whip, another attempt to bring the Sith off-balance. He didn't spare a moment either as he slashed once more at the Sith's face, aiming for the eyes; he prayed that this time his blade would cut true.

Faison's helmet did much to shield his head from not only his own headbutt, but from Maliphant's headbutt in turn. Given the helm's composition of Beskar'gam, chances were that the Sith's bravado would hurt him far worse than Faison. The Mandalorian's visor suffered a very slight crack though, which was more annoying than deadly. The blood trickling from the Sith's nose brought a grin to Faison's lips, but it was soon replaced with a grimace when the Sith's 'spear' morphed into a more maneuverable form not unlike a dagger, and found its way into the gap between his chestpiece and right thigh plate. The armorweave he wore underneath would blunt the strike slightly, but given the material was more effective against blaster based weapons, it did not last long and gave under the force of the Sith's stab. The 'blade' bit into his flesh, narrowly avoiding his internal organs but ripping through muscle and sinew instead. A grunt escaped through the Mandalorian's helmet speakers, but the pause would only be momentary.

Dropping his sword, Faison instead reached around the Sith with his right hand and made to grapple the Sith - to pull him tighter into a firm embrace, with his right arm resting atop Maliphant's left arm which held the dagger. If the maneuver landed, it would pin the Sith's arm - and the dagger - in place. It would do little to alleviate the searing pain racking his thigh and right side, but it would be worth it. Next, Faison would answer with another headbutt against the Sith's bleeding face, with his voice adopting a slightly more beleaguered tone as he said:
"Yeah, you do seem rather dense." What followed was a slightly... curious sound, as if the Mandalorian were... sniffing? Confirming as much, Faison added: "Do you... do you smell that? It sounds like something is... burning."

Without a moment to spare, Faison's left gauntlet - which was still pinned against Maliphant's side, retracted the blade and belched forth flames from his wrist mounted flame projector mere inches from the Sith's side. If the pair had six feet or so between them, chances were the Sith could successfully dodge the blow. But at this range? It's success would be all but certain. Faison would be fine, given the combination of armor weave and the thermal gel underlayer. He couldn't say the same for the Sith however, unless some manner of force trickery could protect the battered Sith from the flames washing over his body. Anything was possible, but Faison prayed to whatever God there was that he was too battered and dazed from Faison's added headbutt to react quick enough to do so, and that his grapple would prevent the Sith, copy or not, from scrambling away.

The headbutt the Maliphant clone would receive upset his balance, and the flames incurred would spell its doom - but the flaming body's skin would melt away only as it's final movements became obvious. A flaming corpse amidst the hall would suddenly begun to fall apart in more ways - black tendrils of disgusting potency would slip from the cracks in his flesh and whip out - against armor, against skin, against anyone too close to escape. Wild thrashing as the corpse screamed - as each tendril served as lightsabers in their own right.
For the unlucky citizenry nearby, they would be cut asunder. For the mandalorians in front of him, they would be hit more and more - worse the closer they were to him. The worst of them would be Faison Kelborn Faison Kelborn himself - who in the closest proximity of the eldritch abomination's attack, would face a hundred strikes in only a few seconds, held there by their mutually assured destruction.
But when all was said and done, and the corpse ceased to move - the flames would leave it nothing more than a blackened husk on the floor, and the Mandalorian would see himself the victor. The body would fall to dust, then to nothing - and return to the aether of the dark side before their very eyes; while the last of the Maliphant's began his last fight.
The electro whip lashed out at Maliphant with extreme prejudice, but the Sith slammed his staff down with fangs beared. Catching the whip before it could strike him, its entire electrical output went empty into the impervium counterweight. A hand lashed out and gripped the Mandalorian's throat, the Force beginning to stretch and pull his limbs apart - so that the Beskar Hound was incapable of striking the Sith. Alabster hair fell in front of his black eyes as the Sith spoke through clenched teeth;
"I want you to know I had nothing to do with your world's destruction, but I've killed thousands of your people. I'd of killed a million more if it meant you'd suffer for even a moment longer, worm."
Veins in his face had begun to turn purple and corrupted, bold reminders that the Dark Side and its corruption ran like a waterfall through this man. Siv Dragr Siv Dragr would feel the strength growing in his hand, that the Suit's Gorget was being crushed by nothing more than the strength and will of the Sith's hand. Bending pure beskar with his fingers, metal crying out as the Sith laughed something dark - and a tunnel of blackness began to seep into the man's vision. These would be his final moments - to have his throat crushed by a Sith Lord falling victim to the bloodlust of his own power.
Yet before the darkness could finalize itself, before his limbs could be torn asunder by his tyrannical control over the Force - a shot from Shai Maji Shai Maji entered his space. It would not land, freezing only a moment before it hit - but the momentary distraction was an oppurtunity the Mandalorian would not miss. With all his strength, he broke the will of Maliphant, bringing his blade slashing across the Sith's face striking through bone and cleaving into an eye.
Maliphant roared in pain, only for his grip on the Force to slip further - and the bolt that he had frozen in stasis was let loose. It slammed into the opposite side of his face and burned what eye was left. Blackened eyes were brought to ash and gore as his grip loosened he let the Mandalorian fall from his grasp - only for his staff to disappear completely, and the man in the well kept suit fell to one knee. He held a shuddering, loud breath as what vision he had failed, and no matter what pained blinks he forced it would not return.
He offered a quiet, pained laugh from between his now shallow breaths as he felt the darkness cede -
"... It would seem I've been bested.", he mused, cockiness permeating his exhaustion.
"Do you plan on taking me alive, Mandalorian?", the Sith said with a turn of his head back up to the man he nearly killed.
What was left was burn and gore, a knife still stuck in his face. Where blood wasn't, burns were - and beneath it all a well formed and glistening white smile kept up appearences.

A smug grin of satisfaction streaked across Faison's lips as the flames of his projector bathed over the flesh of his enemy. Normally, Faison didn't revel in the death of another man, but this schutta had proven to be quite troublesome over the past few minutes of this melee. His smug grin was short lived, however, when dark energy began streaking from the creases in the Maliphant copy's flesh. Out of his peripheral vision, he saw a few bystanders instantly meet their demise either by being bisected in half or decapitated. Faison's armor, however, did much to shield him from the affects of the myriad of attacks lashing against him by virtue of its natural resistance to lightsaber and other energy-based forms of damage.

This resistance may well have prevented Faison from suffering mortal wounds from lacerations or otherwise, but it did not spare him from the concussive forces of the blows themselves. He would be thrown bodily from the writhing mass of the former Maliphant copy, landing nearly twelve feet away where he then skidded up to the wall on the far side of the cantina. From within his armor, he felt like he had been struck by an industrial speeder, and he was fairly certain he had a cracked rib or at the very least the early onset of a concussion. His breathing grew more labored, and his vision blurred as he tried to regain his senses from the attack. Through his clouded vision, he could see the lone remaining Maliphant form knelt before Siv

The bruised and battered Mandalorian reached at his holster and pulled out his Skathe Handcannon. He pulled back the hammer and aimed it at the kneeling Sith. Although he was tempted to do so given the Sith's unscrupulous manner in which he had fought against the Mandalorian team, Faison would not shoot the Sith if he was genuinely surrendering. At the first sign of duplicity, however, the scion of Clan Kelborn would not hesitate to pull the trigger and end the Sith's miserable life. In the interim, Faison clicked open the private comm channel between the Mandalorian team, and said:
"Not to add too much to your plate, but I could use a once-over from the medic over here." He let out an involuntary cough at the end of his request, but otherwise stood there as motionless as he could, keeping his pistol leveled at the Sith Lord before him.

What had seemed a nightmare of pain suddenly abated.

Siv stood standing, ragged, his armor scratched and dented in at half a hundred location. Dark red spots stained his bodyglove, and he could taste iron on his lip as blood seeped from a deep gash on his forehood. His chest heaved in and out as breath escaped rasp, irregular. He could feel a broken rib and possibly a punctured lung; several days worth of a bacta tank.

But he stood. And the Sith Lord was left kneeling on the floor, Siv's dagger still embedded in his face, blood gushing from the wound. "You will wish I hadn't," Siv bit, trying to hide the extent of his injuries before raising his blaster and firing at the defensive Sith, point blank range.

The stun bolt incapacitated the Sith Lord immediately.

"Kranak," he croaked as he felt his mind numbing. Clumsy fingers found a bacta-stim injector on his pouch; he roughly tore at the fabric of his body suit, grunting at the pain of the motion before stabbing the injector. He felt the pain subside momentary as the bacta and stim mixture entered his bloodstream. It was far from a permanent fix, but it would keep him from passing out, or worse. "Patch up the Sith as best you can. Make sure he won't die on the return trip to Kestri. Then treat the others wounds. We're done here."
