  • Double-Bladed Spinning Lightsaber Configuration: The Crimson Pendulum is built around a circular crescent-mode hilt capable of functioning as a single-bladed saber, double-bladed saber, and rotating execution weapon. Its crescent frame allows Jekkath to transition between conventional dueling, sweeping crowd-control cuts, defensive spins, and brutal close-range executions without changing weapons. The weapon is especially dangerous in confined spaces, where its rotating blade geometry can deny approach lanes and force opponents into panic-driven retreats.
  • Ghostfire Crystal Pair: Two Ghostfire crystals give the weapon an unnerving, difficult-to-read blade profile. The blades emit reduced sound and visual instability compared to ordinary lightsabers, making them harder to track by hearing, sight, and instinctive timing. In dark environments, smoke, rain, or battlefield confusion, the weapon's cuts can appear a heartbeat later than expected, feeding into Jekkath's terror-based fighting style.
  • Lignan Focusing Crystal Pair: The weapon's two Lignan focusing crystals amplify its Dark Side resonance and sharpen the aggression of its blade output. These crystals make the saber feel heavier in the Force, more oppressive at close range, and especially attuned to Jekkath's wrath, executioner's focus, and predatory pressure. Against Force Sensitive opponents, the weapon carries a distinct sense of malice, as if the blade itself is pushing forward with the wielder.
  • Hyperspatial Energy Stealth Capacitor: A pyronium-based hyperspatial capacitor stores and redirects excess emissions produced by the plasma blade, including light bleed, electromagnetic discharge, sonic vibration, heat, infrared output, and magnetic disturbance. These emissions are shunted away from the blade system, rendering both the hilt and ignited blades significantly harder for sensors to detect. This does not make the weapon invisible to the naked eye, but it makes it far more difficult to track through standard scanning, thermal detection, and battlefield sensor sweeps.
  • Alchemized Sarrassian Iron Hilt: The weapon's hilt and crescent frame are forged from Sith Alchemy-treated Sarrassian iron, giving the casing superior durability, dark resonance, and resistance to ordinary physical damage. The alchemical treatment binds the weapon to Jekkath's presence and reinforces its role as an executionary relic rather than a simple military tool. The metal's darkened surface drinks in light and holds a cold, ritual weight in the hand.
  • Devaronian Blood Poison Spines: The crescent frame and grip housing are fitted with retractable Devaronian blood poison spines, turning the hilt itself into a close-quarters hazard. These spines can punish grapples, disarm attempts, and body-to-body struggles by injecting a dangerous toxin into exposed flesh. Jekkath uses them when an enemy closes inside saber range, turning even weapon retention into an act of punishment.
  • Executioner's Grip Architecture: The grip is reinforced for brutal one-handed and two-handed control, allowing Jekkath to strike, wrench, hook, and crush with the hilt as an extension of his body. In close combat, the weapon can be used to batter guards aside, pin limbs, or drag opponents.
  • Dark Sensor Profile: Between the Ghostfire crystals, stealth capacitor, darkened hilt materials, and emission-dampening design, The Crimson Pendulum has a suppressed battlefield profile compared to most lightsabers. It is still visible and dangerous when ignited, but it is nearly invisible to detection before activation and extremely difficult for sensors to cleanly track once engaged. It is a silent killer.

  • Extreme Versatility: The Crimson Pendulum can function as a single-bladed lightsaber, double-bladed lightsaber through its crescent-mode, disc mode, and split modes. This gives Jekkath multiple combat profiles in one weapon. Additionally it enables him to fly utilizing the weapons disc mode.
  • Silent Executioner: Ghostfire cores create pale, translucent red blades that shed minimal light and produce almost no discernible hum, making the saber ideal for stealth operations and sudden executions.
  • Cutting Power: The lightsaber creates an incredibly powerful blade through its focusing crystals, enabling it to slice through lightsaber resilient materials such as phrik, impervium, and even the likes of beskar and withstand cortosis.
  • Illusory Afterimages: Ghostfire blades leave multiple red‑tinted afterimages in their wake, disguising the true path and position of each strike and spin, synergizing perfectly with Jekkath's fighting style.
  • Dark Side Amplifier: Lignan focusing crystals and the Cyclic Crystal Array dramatically increase cutting power and ferocity when the wielder channels hatred, aggression, and killing intent through the weapon, turning Jekkath's bloodlust into a literal force multiplier.
  • Lightsaber‑Resistant Execution Ring: Kazqyâtyit‑treated Sarrassian iron ring is nearly indestructible to lightsaber contact and many conventional materials, allowing Jekkath to block, bind, and crash‑tackle other blades with the crescent/disc itself and use the ring as a brutal melee weapon.
  • Poisoned Hooks: Devaronian Blood Poison spines on the ring's outer edge function as vicious barbs. In both crescent and disc mode, Jekkath can hook, yank, trip, or maim opponents; even shallow cuts risk exposure to a neurotoxic compound infamous for its agonizing effects. While in disc mode when the blade is spinning, the spines can act as a kinetic buzzsaw.
  • Blade Drain: The Blade Drain integration lets the saber gnaw at opposing blades and energy fields over time, eroding stability, draining power, and opening windows for decisive killing blows.

  • High‑Skill, High‑Risk: Ghostfire's translucent, near‑silent blades and illusory afterimages are disorienting even for the wielder; an unfocused or injured user can misjudge range or angle and maim themselves, especially with Jekkath's acrobatic, aggressive style.
  • Weight and Inertia: The reinforced Sarrassian iron ring and integrated spines make the hilt heavy. The weapon is exhausting to use for prolonged periods and difficult to control in tight quarters if the wielder isn't specialized in its usage in battle.
  • Dark Side Dependency: Lignan's amplification and Blade Drain scaling depend on active dark side channeling. Against opponents or in environments that disrupt the Force, the saber loses much of its edge and becomes merely "very dangerous" instead of nightmarish.
  • Weight and Inertia: The reinforced Sarrassian iron ring and integrated spines make the hilt heavy. While Jekkath's training exploits this for brutal momentum in spins and throws, the weapon is exhausting to use for prolonged periods and difficult to control in tight quarters.
  • Poison Liability: Devaronian Blood Poison is indiscriminate. A glancing blow or mishandled rebound can contaminate allies, or even the wielder, if they are careless during prolonged melee, and exposure complicates battlefield medical treatment.

The Crimson Pendulum is efficient, purpose built to turn a living weapon into a hunting system. Forged as the first test of knowledge accumulated under his masters teachings, the weapon began life as a standard double‑bladed spinning Inquisitorius hilt, before being systematically torn down and rebuilt into something far more personal.

The central grip is wrapped in black electrum and armored with Kazqyâtyit‑treated Sarrassian iron, extending out into a full circular ring that houses the dual emitters and the distinctive Devaronian Blood Poison spines. In crescent or disc mode, with the blades retracted, the Halo is a brutal melee instrument; Jekkath uses the ring to hook ankles, wrench limbs, and hang victims from fixtures in a style that earned him the title Hangman of Rattatak long before the Empire found him. The spines can shred flesh and armor on their own, and even a shallow cut risks exposure to the blood poison, turning escape into a slow, agonizing affair.

When ignited, the saber reveals its true monstrosity. The dual bled Ghostfire cores produce pale, translucent red blades that give off almost no glow and whisper instead of roar. The blades trail red‑tinged afterimages that make it nearly impossible to track Jekkath's real strikes, especially once the disc begins to spin. Combined with his unique hybrid style all feints, broken rhythms, and sudden angle changes—the Crimson Pendulum turns every exchange into a guessing game where a single wrong read is fatal.

Deep within the hilt, Lignan focusing crystals are chained through a Cyclic Crystal Array, tied directly to Jekkath's emotional state. The harder he leans into hatred and the predator's joy of the kill, the harder the blades bite, allowing them to chew through materials and defenses that would blunt or deflect lesser sabers. The VT‑Disruptor lens, Non‑Dimetris circuits, and integrated Blade Drain matrix let the Halo grind against enemy blades and shields, slice through yuuzhan vong with ease, avoid destabilizing due to cortosis, and feed on energy, converting stolen energy into brutal pulses powered by the Pyronium secondary battery.

True to the creed of the Hangman, it is a practical, terrifying tool of Imperial dominance and personal might. Whether Jekkath is silently stalking a Jedi through the ruins of some forgotten citadel, or spinning the ring into a roaring wheel of translucent red death on an open battlefield, the weapon exists to do one thing: Make sure that when the Second Brother arrives, there are no survivors, only examples.
