Approved NPC Crew of the Destiny

Status
Not open for further replies.
Name: Lorath Ritian
Loyalties: Corruck Kazen
Role: Captain of the Destiny
Development Threads: One mention here, yet to have a central role in a thread.
Age: 51
Species: Human
Force-Sensitive: No

Appearance: Lorath is about five foot three, he weighs approximately 324 pounds. His face is kept in a deceivingly youngish condition due to some minor surgery, the same surgery was incapable of giving him more hair however. His head is balding, with dark brown hair steadily going white. The only portion of his body that is still in shape are his legs, which due partly to having to carry his weight around and to his own small workouts are capable of keeping him running for a time.

Personality: He tends to try to be courteous, however he avoids in anyways giving the appearance that he is soft. He also likes to think of himself as very intelligent and cunning, both of which fall far from what he would want to believe.

Weapon of Choice: None, he would avoid combat completely and try to pay his way out.

Wealth: Used to be pretty wealthy, with his own small criminal gang, until Corruck knocked him out of business. Now he has enough stored away to buy a small house on some forgotten planet, but not enough to escape Corruck's watchful eye.

Combat Function: Commands the Destiny, he has been given the authorization to fire the ship's main nuclear weapon if the circumstances require it, otherwise he simply has the ship run away.

Skills: Standard criminal skill sets: quick talker, relatively good liar, and far too much ego.

Notable Possessions: Grooming kit

Other Notes: His loyalty to Corruck is circumstantial and if Corruck ever loosed his grip Lorath would run at the first possible opening. Unfortunately, the Destiny is too valuable for Corruck to not pay close attention, as such it is unlikely that Lorath will ever get away, however that doesn't mean it won't happen. Spent some time training on Nar Shadda under another small time criminal when he was 23. At first his crime was simple minor theft and the once in awhile large robbery. As time went on he found that he spent less and less time in prisons or jails as he got better. He believed he had found his niche in life. However, his greed and ego got the better of him. He tried to steal from a particularly powerful person, the robbery had almost gone without a hitch until Lorath was caught by a servant in the household. He spent a year in prison before he was given freedom. Newly released and itching to get back into the thievery gig, Lorath quickly decided to further his criminal career. The best way, he guessed, was to begin building a powerbase and collecting people to work for him. The first person he recruited was Tobius, who became quite a trustworthy member as they did not have conflicting personalities. He would later pick up Nallice who was much more than he had ever anticipated. She was able to pull in Noren and Kabol. Lorath soon found himself in a comfortable seat of power which suited him perfectly. He had money and security. That was, until Corruck came.

Name: Tobius Murl
Loyalties: Corruck Kazen and Lorath
Role: Destiny's Helmsman
Development Threads: Same as above
Age: 32
Species: Zabrak
Force-Sensitive: No

Appearance: Tobius is not a unique member of his species, his appearance is much the same as most Zabraks. He is 6 foot dead and 208 pounds, most of which is muscle. He has facial black tattoos on a heavily tanned face. His shoulders are broad and his legs appear thin in comparison.

Personality: Tobius is straight to the point and tends to dislike small talk. He thinks himself a warrior and tries to avoid socializing with those that stand against his outlook. He doesn't care for courtesy or unnecessary kindness.

Weapon of Choice: Mostly himself

Wealth: Negligible, after being caught up with Lorath as part of the man's crime gang anything of the minimal funding he had was slily taken from him.

Combat Function: Practically nothing, as he stuck on a ship as helmsman he won't be directly in most of the fighting.

Skills: Good hand to hand combatant and good at following directions.

Notable Possessions: None

Other Notes: Is a trained warrior, was picked up by Lorath and became muscle for the human's crime group. When Corruck found the small organization and threatened to hand everyone over to the authorities, Lorath traded himself and his men to become the crew for his ship. Tobius has little aspiration in life, finding more enjoyment in watching others die. He follows orders partly because he has no real desire for life of his own.

Tobius had wanted to become a warrior within his species, however circumstances and fate seemed to have been against him on that hope. At the time of initial training, Tobius had smashed a rib and crushed an arm from a starfighter accident, he was actually quite fortunate the pilot died in the crash along with a few other people. He was taken from his home planet to an orbiting spacestation where he spent the next month healing and in rehab. During that time he learned much about people out in the galaxy, far beyond the reach of his few people's culture. His aspirations grew, instead of wanting to simply become a warrior for his people he turned to wanting to become a galaxy-wide revered battler. He wanted to become the best combatant ever and he wanted to show the galaxy what he was made of. Unfortunately, it seemed that once again the fates were against him, the transport that was supposed to head in towards Coruscant but had to make a repair stop on the planet that would later become his 'home'. During that stay he was drugged at a local cantina, his money was stolen and he missed his flight. He met Nallice at this point, the two don't really remember it though. She took him to the local authorities where he would learn that it was unlikely that he would leave as this planet had little to no actual space commerce. At the time Nallice had been quite a kind girl to Tobius. She showed him around and told him of places to avoid and people to talk to. She was later kidnapped, to become an exotic dancer in a local cantina. Tobius was unable to find her no matter how much he looked, avoiding one of the areas she was working in because he had been told not to go there. It was during his time on the planet alone that he became more dead spirited, his hopes were smashed and the friend he had had on this strange planet was gone. He became more and more violent and lost more and more sympathy. He was called a monster by many, until at last Lorath found him and recruited him. By that time Tobius had no care for the life he had nor for the lives of those around him.

Name: Noren Tepar
Loyalties: Lorath
Role: Destiny's communications specialist
Development Threads: Same as above
Age: 19
Species: Human
Force-Sensitive: No

Appearance: Noren has a young face and body, his maturity, physically has only recently come in. He is about five foot seven and only weighs 120 pounds. He is lanky and is uncoordinated. His hair is a light blond and his skin is of a slightly pale brown.

Personality: Uncertain, often questioning his own abilities and always looking for an order to follow.

Weapon of Choice: None

Wealth: None

Combat Function: Communication between Corruck and Lorath

Skills: Follows orders well, rarely questions, and he has reasonable skill with communication equipment.

Notable Possessions: None

Other Notes: He was a relatively new recruit to Lorath's gang, somewhat of an oddball who didn't quite fit into the organization, however due to his ability to follow orders he was able to stay. He was pulled in from a farm when he starting racking up too much debt at a town cantina. He is working off the debt, however Lorath has no intention of allowing him to go. He hopes to one day return home and maybe start up his own business, one that wouldn't require him to leave the planet ever again.

He had been a farmer with his father for the majority of his life, that was until he was separated from his dad during a trip into the city. It wasn't much of a concern at the time, Noren assumed he would just catch local transport back out into the country where he could find his way back. As it turned out, the cities big lights, constant stream of people, and large vehicles were quick to disorient the young man. He soon lost track of where he was or where he was supposed to be. He knew better than to purchase anything and he avoided any weird looking places, which for him was just about anywhere. He soon got on the cities closest approximation to a bus which he believed was heading back into the country. He had been so close, the station he had been waiting at did in fact have a transport that headed out to the country, it was actually the next bus to pass through. If he had missed the first one and gotten the second he could have been at home right now. Instead, the bus he was on headed from this city into the larger one. Learning of the mistake all too late, he became even more disoriented from anger at himself and sensory overload from all that was going on around him. When at last he reached the city he found his way to a dark and less populated part of town, where he met Lorath for the first time. The older man quickly helped Noren to a nearby cantina, which was both quiet and more spacious. Noren didn't know at the time that he was being tricked into helping his supposed savior further his criminal schemes, but that was what was happening. Without realizing, he moved spice from one person to another, thinking that they were packages as Lorath called them. By the time Noren found out, it was too late, he was caught in a circle, he couldn't leave or Lorath's large Zabrak friend would end him. So he became an unwilling accomplice to the man's criminal organization.

Name: Nallice Verden
Loyalties: Lorath
Role: Destiny's weaponry command
Development Threads: Same as above
Age: 26
Species: Chiss
Force-Sensitive: Yes, Untrained

Appearance: Specie's blue body, though lighter than most, eyes are deeper red. She stands five foot six her weight is 145 pounds. She has light burn marks along the far right of her face, an unfortunate accident. She has long slender fingers. She has often been called beautiful, though she cares little for the compliment.

Personality: Assertive, commanding. Nallice is very protective of her position in the ship and had been inside Lorath's organization. She wishes to prove herself and to prove that even though she is a female she is more than equal to any male. She tends to distance herself from other people, keeping thoughts and feelings inside, aside from contempt and other negative emotions. She also has a strange love of machinery.

Weapon of Choice: Datapad, controlling droids that keep the nuclear weapon running.

Wealth: Nothing much to speak of

Combat Function: She makes sure that the firing of the main weapon is done smoothly, however the job can be done without her.

Skills: A team player, though prefers to be the leader, Nallice loves working with droids, partly because they are such good followers. She naturally understands most machines, simple and complex. She prefers to not get her hands dirty, but can be a good mechanic when needed.

Notable Possessions: The same datapad as mentioned above, also contains a number of letters from interested men, all of which she ignores.

Other Notes: As the best controller of the weaponry functions of the most important part of the ship, Nallice is proud of her position. Nallice was born off-world however was moved to this planet when her parents tried to escape some of the wars that had been going on. During her informative years she was quite a friendly person, later to change due to experiences. Kidnapped by a relatively wealthy cantina owner to become one of his staff she became an exotic dancer who hated the system that she had gotten trapped in. Her ability to break into and out of different areas in the building in which she worked became quite interesting to Lorath, who had some money in the establishment. He was able to propose a deal in which Nallice leaves behind the distasteful work she had been doing for the opportunity to see the galaxy and not from the lap of some smuggler or opportunistic man. Needless to say, she accepted without hesitation, not before leaving an 'accidental' security failure, during which the owner of the club was killed via air poisoning. The authorities were never able to find the killer and Lorath turned a blind eye to the first of many acts of defiance that would soon plague his career. He learned only too late that Nallice was quick to take any chance at proving herself superior no matter the cost. She was too skillful to make an example of and far too good a leader, or at least had the promise to be one. He had hopes of making her his second in command and then later his successor. When Corruck came and took them she became his second in command unofficially as well as being given her own small force to command. She is one of a numbered few who has been found by neither Sith or Jedi she at one point as most children did aspire to become one, however as time went on it simply fell away as all dreams did. She never learned of her gift and always explained away the rare incident as her mind playing tricks on her.

Name: Kabol Labiel
Loyalties: Lorath
Role: Destiny's Cook
Development Threads: Same as above
Age: 35
Species: Twi'lek
Force-Sensitive: No

Appearance: Blue skinned, Kabol has brown eyes and large darker blue tattoos on his Lekku. He stands about five foot six and weighs almost 180 pounds. His arms are not well defined, the same could not be said about his legs which appear almost to be tree trunks. His body is clean of scars.

Personality: Kabol likes to keep his appearance nonchalant and uncaring, almost worry free. In fact, he is a very cunning man, he understands a lot about psychology and enjoys putting it to work with on the crew. He likes to play mind games and keep everyone on their toes. He enjoys a unique amount of power, since he controls the food he can play for certain emotions based on people's likes and dislikes. He has categorized most of the crew based on their culinary preferences and their ease of manipulation. He intends on getting his freedom from the supposed to stupidity of Lorath someday. He intends on using what he learns to that advantage.

Weapon of Choice: Knowledge of the mind

Wealth: He has been wise enough to save money and has stored it safely away in a bank back on the world where the gang had been formed. He has enough money to get himself his own civilian transport offworld and enough to set him up for a decent life on a more renowned planet.

Combat Function: None

Skills: Trained Psychologist, has a good sense of timing, and has patience.

Notable Possessions: Some holobooks on various exotic planet's dishes and a few on psychological treatment
Other Notes: Kabol could be considered the most dangerous out of the entire crew on the ship, if only minds were part of a battle. He was born on Ryloth and practiced at first to become a doctor, however after meeting some veterans he learned of the darker scars that are left from battle, the mental ones. He would change to learning about psychology so that he could try and fix the damage that was not physical. He was in transit between systems when he came across Nallice, at the time part of Lorath's gang. Her strange demeanor confounded him and drew him like a fly to honey. He learned too late that she was not the kind of person he should socialize with. He was dragged into the gang, as Corruck took over, to fill out the required number of people and to cover the menial task of food preparation. He has since become quite bitter and his interest is in a perfect escape during which he exacts his revenge on Lorath and Nallice, at the same time he feels a certain infatuation for Nallice, sympathizing her past. He would like to help her.

With the way you have this, after each grouping of Name, Loyalties, Role, Development Threads, Age, Species, and Force-Sensitive, could you make sure there is a space between every field after that, so it doesn't end up reading like a big giant wall of text? If you'll do that for me, so its a bit easier on the eyes I'll then run through it and we'll see if any edits need to be made.

On Lorath, under other notes could you add a brief history for the NPC. Same goes for Tobius and Noren.

On Nallice under force sensitive, could you make a note in that section that she's untrained?

Otherwise, looking good.
