Padawan Menace
I've seen NPC crews for personal ships, but working with the faction leadership over at the Rebel Alliance, I've concocted an idea for something a little different. Hopefully it's not too far out there, and feedback appreciated.
Intent: Create stable and recurring non-player characters in order to develop stories about a medical frigate in the service of the Rebel Alliance. This will serve as the backdrop and foundation for one-shot appearances and on-going story arcs, which seek to tell tales of Star Wars from the perspective of a militia or military hospital ship and it's crew. Player Characters will be invited to hop in and out as they choose. The goal of this thread is to provide them with a "Who's Who" of recurring characters to those stories.
Credit: Shield-class Medical Frigate developed by [member="Camellia Swift"]. Credit for the name RAV-101 Redemption to [member="Krasnaya Xue"] (taken from this thread). Permission to develop the ship and associated NPCs into a story platform granted by Krasnaya Xue (on the promise that I don't re-name it the Black Pearl and begin piracy on the high seas... er... high stars?)
Obligatory Fine Print: I understand that this ship, and any NPCs developed for it, are inherently the property of the Rebel Alliance faction and not mine. And that I forsake any claims thereto if I should leave the Rebel Alliance faction (as the saying goes, you can't take it with you).

Appearance: Well-muscled, barrel chested, Tal still has the body of a soldier well into middle age. Weathered, heavily lined face. Brown hair now mostly gray. Piercing blue eyes.
Personality: Stern, very principled. Strictly by the book. Pragmatic, to the point that some would call him a pessimist.
Weapon of Choice: Heavy Blaster Pistol
Combat Function: Tactical Action Officer, Command and Control
Other Notes: A former Imperial officer, it is unclear whether Tal retired from the Imperial military or deserted from it. And he isn't likely to clarify that question. As a result, few in the Rebel Alliance trust him, though even his doubters find him a capable tactician and strategist.

Other Notes: Taken in by the Rebels after the Alliance assisted in the redevelopment of Ryloth. Believes that the Alliance has done a great service to her people.
