MISSION DOSSIER: OPERATION SILENT CIRCUIT


"Nar Shaddaa hums with secrets. But tonight, it screams with something worse."


CONTACT: A Falleen information broker with ties to TaggeCo, acting on behalf of a corporate executive on Etti IV.
PAY: 14,000 credits (hazard bonuses negotiable)
OBJECTIVE: Smuggle out an encrypted data server from a quarantined facility deep within the Undercity of Nar Shaddaa.


TARGET LOCATION:
An abandoned medclinic-turned-refugee shelter in the Kintan Stacks, overtaken by nano-corrupted outcasts and Force-touched street prophets.
SECURITY THREATS:
• Digital Berserkers (cybernetically unstable addicts exposed to Sith malware)
• Environmental decay and corrosive leaks
• Passive surveillance by Hutt Cartel syndics and slicer drones


COMPLICATION:
The clinic still houses dozens of squatters and displaced civilians. High risk of civilian entanglement. Any unnecessary bloodshed could invite local enforcer retaliation—or worse, Jedi charity.


ENVIRONMENTAL FEATURES:
Holoprojections of historic galactic artwork flicker and distort across most rooms—some infected with arcane symbols and dark-side glyphs
Gamma-shielded vault in sublevel houses a Rakatan relic—its presence distorts local energy fields and causes neural feedback in the Force-sensitive
Gas leak in an old cryo-surgery room; lethal exposure in minutes without filtration

Yes! And it'll be treated and respected as it should be narratively

This is a purely optional thing that's pretty much multiple flavors of "skip this obstacle"
It's just purely cut from the final score, like a videogame final score

Looting stuff can earn you more credits too, but the risk is the thread running longer and it tapering off
Been thinking about how to implement a system that doesn't dissuade people from writing or punish people for anything, but still gives the dungeon crawl/mission coop vibe

Items below can be introduced into the story to overcome an obstacle, avoid danger, or alter a scene.
No need to track or subtract anything—simply write the item into use. The cost will be removed from your final UWC take.


CONSUMABLES & TACTICAL GEAR

• Breach Charge
(250 UWC)
Blows open sealed blast doors, security panels, or vaults. Use for explosive entry or instant escape.

• Stims Pack (150 UWC)
Ignore the effects of gas, exhaustion, or Force distortion for the duration of one scene. Can also be used to stabilize an injured ally.

• Slicer Spike (200 UWC)
Bypass any terminal or electronic lock instantly. May also be used to erase security footage or loop surveillance.

• Grav Tether (300 UWC)
Recover a falling teammate, slow a deadly descent, or ascend a vertical shaft without effort.

• Holo-Decoy Projector (300 UWC)
Deploy a convincing illusion to confuse enemies, distract droids, or draw fire away from the team.

• Bribe Satchel (250 UWC)
Auto-succeed in bribing a minor NPC—be they scavenger, cultist, or slicer. One use per thread.

• Echo Crystal

Momentarily quiets dark Force relics or Sith echoes. Useful when interacting with the Rakatan Vault (Room 09) or the Prophet (Room 05).

• Forged Clinic Access Badge (200 UWC)
Lets you pass as a medtech, slicer, or Black Sun agent. Use once to avoid suspicion, delay combat, or skip security.

• Emergency Null-Field (400 UWC)
Negates one trap, curse, or area effect when used mid-scene. Can stabilize a relic, silence a turret, or disrupt a berserker’s implants.

• Encrypted Access Map (Free – One Use)
May be used once per mission to request a hidden connection, bypass route, or secret room from the DM. Write this as an “offscreen briefing” or intel update.

These tools exist narratively—just describe them being used.
No pre-approval required. Creative use encouraged. The final reward tally will reflect the cost.
