Question Creating something simple

Hey Y'all! I was just wondering , if I wanted to create something as simple as a perfume to be used exclusively for a club. (For my character) . Do I need to submit a factory item creation request? I have a rough layout of what it does, and its cosmetic. Also, what if I wanted a clothing line as well? etc... No real benefits and such... Just looking for answers. Thx!

From my understanding you never have to submit things. It's there for fun and for those that like that sort of thing.

Factory is optional and unless it got reported John Locke the factory admin likely wouldn't demand it.

The answers above are correct. You CAN submit it to the Factory to have a sub for it (even if it's for personal use that's totally fine) but you 100% don't have to. Especially, if there's no real benefits anyone should be aware of.

Conversely you could do a Lore/Media sub (could be a book or holo) about it's creation, maybe, if the process meant something to your character... It's just that once it's in a "bottle" with intent to use it would turn into a Factory sub.

But again...You don't HAVE to submit something like this. It's just an option available to enhance your roleplay if that floats your boat.
