- Personality: An opportunist and a man constantly scheming to accomplish his goals Cran Pelles is as ambitious as he is loyal and he is always looking to get ahead. The man thrives in any organisation, eager to look into the best way to climb the ladder although he is always cautious to never climb too high, for the bigger the man the harder he falls. Outside of his professional life Cran enjoys living in comfort. To him the best life is one where the view is beautiful, there are parties to go to and the bank is full.

- Combat Function: Despite his role as a diplomatic officer the Sanjin Diplomatic Corps is formally under the Defence Force and because of this Cran Pelles has been given rudimentary military training. He is able to clean and service his weapon as well as lead junior officers of the Diplomatic Corps within a military environment. Despite this he is far from an exemplary soldier with little experience in combat and more traditional military topics such as tactics.
- Seasoned Diplomat - Pelles is a seasoned diplomat and is very knowledgable in diplomacy and negotiation, always focused on getting his side on top, regardless of the situation of the other party.
- Schemer - Pelles is a schemer and he enjoys employing elaborate plans in order to benefit himself or Sanjin. Through his career in diplomacy he has gained many skills such as manipulation.
- Ambitious - Despite his caution for not climbing to high up a ladder he is still ambitious which leads him to take a variety of risks which often puts himself in harms way.
- Him? A Soldier? - Despite having rudimentary military training and the rank of Major Pelles barely qualifies as a professional soldier. He is very reliant on his marine escort to ensure his safety.
The man who would become senator of Sanjin was born into a military family with 3 other siblings much was expected from Cran who was a middle child. His life was already mapped out and the man was expected to join the New republic military which his parents were already in. However growing up it became evident that Cran was not like his siblings and parents and instead of facing his challenges head on he consistently attempted to talk his way out of everything.
After finishing his education at the age of 18 and desperate to avoid proper military service he enrolled in the Diplomat corps. While his parents viewed him as weaker than his siblings even this came to a shock to them, although through his training he managed to convince his parents that he was still technically part of the military, a point they begrudgingly accepted. Eventually commissioning at the rank of Lieutenant he served in a quiet career, reaching the rank of Captain until everything began crashing down.
Eager to not die in a last stand Cran quietly deserted his post and bribed his way onto Sanjin where he spent 4 years living quietly. Eventually he aspired to return to diplomacy and he served as aide to Sanjin's corrupt senator. He served loyally and was rewarded with credits which he relished. Despite his rewards he seeked to climb higher and when word of a silent coup was in motion reached his ear, he got in contact with the Optimatium party in order to secure his future. The next day the Senators airspeeder's engine failed mid-flight, sending him down towards Sanjin where he died once he was out of range from the life zone.
Like many of the other collaborators he was rewarded for his actions, being promoted to major within the diplomatic corps and promised an important posting. Eventually Sanjin's ruler Jasol Dorsian who had acted as the interim senator of Sanjin appointed him the role, recognising his uses. Pelles enjoyed the new government and the comfort and security they offered, agreeing to the assignment. Despite this Jasol still recognised how ambitious the new senator was and he ensured that his bodyguard detail comprised of some of Sanjin's most loyal, who were ready if he ever stepped out of line.
