SPECIAL FEATURES
As ONI continued to develop as an organization within the Sovereignty, and became an interstellar intelligence agency that had to handle and lead clandestine missions across the galaxy, a new set of armour was required. Although use of the SACO-2 Series armour was previously used when ONI operators were sent as attachments to AECO teams, they found that this made them hard to distinguish amongst the team, which led to a bit of confusion amongst usually highly cohesive teams.
As such, specific ONI armour was designed around incorporating much of the same technology and protection, but more funding and effort was put towards ensuring the survivability of the wearer, as it was decided ONI Field Agents were of higher priority than AECO teams to survive a mission. The armour was field-tested on AECO Clandestine missions and eventually was put into full production for the Sovereignty.

- Blaster Protection: The CFOU-1 has a lot of reinforcement behind its armour, and as such has a lot of protection against Blaster Weapons.
- Kinetic Protection: This armour is specifically reinforced to protect more against slugthrower weapons and kinetic force, protecting the wearer from potentially fatal damage.
- Eyes Open: Thanks to the material used in the development of the CFOU, it is harder to detect a user wearing it than most armours, though it is not invisible.
- Saber Jockey: Having little to no thought given towards protection against lightsabers, this field uniform will be easily cut through by anyone wielding a lightsaber.
- Standout: Outside of combat areas and darkened skies, this uniform makes an ONI Operator stand out thanks to its black finish and unique-looking design compared to other Sovereignty Armed Forces uniforms.
