Vylmira's Wrath

In the stone halls of Naboo, a shadow grew. Dark was the day upon which the Council gathered. Their first formal gathering since the events of the Cataclysm. The small chamber was not as large nor as grandiose as the chambers within the Citadel, but it served its purpose just as well. Guards had been posted outside, intent on stopping any who sought to approach the chamber without the Lord Commander's express permission. Voph himself sat on his chair clad in full armor, waiting for the arrival of the other Lords. He did not have to wait long, fortunately. Master Lechner had traveled with him from the Ventress, where they had spoken just moments prior.
"Welcome, Masters, to our new home. I hope the days have been kind. I wish to extend my apologies to you all for keeping you in the dark. But such is the way when I myself have no answers. But, this is why we gather here now. Before we begin, I wish to offer you all an explanation deserving of your titles. Currently, the Eye is being held locked away where no one may find it, nor use it. Because of the danger presented by this device, only the Nightmother and I know where this device is located. If a situation arises where any of you need to be made aware of the device's location, you will be made aware. Until then, I do not wish to risk the device influencing any of you. But if nothing else, hear this: The device is inert, and in no danger of reactivation, active or passive."
Voph paused, looking at the gathered lords. "We have much to discuss today. But first upon our itinerary: Our organization. As we all realize, we no longer have the means to host grand houses of learning. For now, we stand as one. Though some may still chose to fly the banner of the old chapters, I do not intend to separate the learners as we once did. Nightmother Vytal, as you all may be aware, was named Deputy Commander. From this position, she will oversee the education of not just our own members, but of Force Sensitives anywhere. Any who Vytal and her witches discover that may be a good fit for our order will be invited. This holds true for the rest of you as well. In the event of my untimely demise, it is she who will oversee the dealings of the Obsidian as a whole until a replacement is found."
"For the rest of you, most of whom once sat upon this council as masters of a chapter, your duties will change, slightly." Voph gestured to the center of the table, where a map of the Confederacy appeared, divided into the sectors that grouped each planet together. "As we move forward into this new era, it is the intent of both myself and the Vicelord that we take a more active role in our duty as inquisitors. Not to attack planets as serves our needs, but to uphold the law across all planets. To this end, I intend to divide the sectors. One of us will stand watch over each sector, allocating our resources to enforce the law, and bring criminals to justice, as we see fit. Within the sector given, you will be named Lord Marshal, the utmost authority on the Law, save only for myself." A small banner bearing Voph's name appeared over the Capital sector, and the area faded compared to the rest of the map. "So, the first point of discussion today. Who shall take control of which sector? The table is yours to discuss. Once this matter is satisfactorily settled, we shall continue to the next item."
