Forever in the Light
He had, to his shame, forgotten how beautiful it was here. Aiden hadn't been to the Sanctuary in quite some time, not after his departure from the Council and then his meeting with Ala in regard to his situation. He took a deep breath, breathing in the air around him. It was familiar, and he noted a floral scent that seemed to drift from the gardens. It was interesting to know how far that scent actually traveled. He made a good notion to revisit every area that he could. He wasn't looking to intrude, but simply to see some old friends. He had arrived earlier than he was supposed to for this reason exactly, to catch up.
After formalities and laughter were exchanged between some colleagues of his, they opted to have dinner with each other to catch up. They did have to scold him, reminding him that he was allowed to come here to visit as well. He had his reasons, but still, this way worked out for the best, at least for the time being. Recent events had tried his time and his mind, truthfully much more than the darkness that had plagued his spirit and soul.
The Jedi Knight said his farewells, not goodbyes, making his way toward the Council Chambers for his meeting with Master Vodet. He walked with a calm demeanor, and it would seem as if nothing was plaguing him at all. Perhaps that was the spirit of hope within him, and his own light remained constant. He remembered words that his father spoke too often, just as he said they were told to him by Tiberias.

He was told they didn't know it yet, but once the Jedi Knight could see it, and they caught sight of him, it would begin to become clear. Lira was a case in point. He couldn't imagine not having been there on that day. And now, he had a daughter. Aiden stepped before the door, and it slid open, he was waiting for him.
"Greetings Master Vodet, thank you for meeting with me. You look well."
