Having wondered far enough away from the burning wreckage that was the transport that got him here Grimgor was confronted by a squad of particularly brave law enforcement kitted out in riot gear. An officer approached Grimgor, for his part Grimgor merely watched as the man got closer

"Sir you are under arr..." that's as far as the man got before Grimgor reached down with both hands and tore the officer apart in a shower of blood and gore. For their credit the Coruscant police immediately raised their blasters and opened fire on the behemoth in front of them all the while radioing in another hostile and calling for any back up. Grimgor just let out a bestial roar and began to butcher the officers with his axes roaring to life and tearing about their victims it was over just as quickly as it had begun, reaching down for a dismembered leg Grimgor began to eat

PORTAL TO THE UNDERWORLD

The two Jedi on top of the armored Hutt were a pain in the Mynock.

Somehow, the Jedi pair had managed to deflect, stop or block basically everything thrown at them; including a gatling blaster canon, acid-tipped slugs, an out of control swoop bike, and now an attack from Lirka Ka. Though, Varm Nul had to admit it seemed par for the course with Jedi, though the Duros was no slouch when it came to tackling Force Users. At some point, they had to start feeling the fatigue... you couldn't keep throwing around Force power like that, without feeling it wear on the body.

But, what did Varm Nul know, he wasn't a Jedi or Sith.

No, he was a simple Duros trying to make his way in the universe.

"Keep up the pressure, boss," Varm Nul called to the armored Hutt, who's identity was concealed within the plating, purposefully avoiding the use of Gorba's name. "I'm flankin'!"

With another burst of his jetboot thrusters, the Duros skidded sideways and started to loop through the air, as the sliced dumpster was sent flying through the space where he had been. Varm Nul wondered if the Jedi even cared what happened to that flying projectile, whether it would hit innocent bystanders or knock a speeder from the sky?

Probably not.

Varm Nul's gauntlet began to beep, as he targeted the two Jedi below, his distance and speed maintained - though he wasn't foolish enough to keep a simple flight path, he altered it, to avoid that bow. One didn't approach a Jedi closely unless there was no other choice. With a final dead tone, the targeting systems on the gauntlet alerted the Duros to being ready, to which Varm Nul smirked with his sharp teeth and aimed the arm forward--

"Stayin' in one spot? Risky."

--and fired off a small barrage of whistling birds at the pair. The small projectiles were beskar, explosive-tipped, and moved through the space in an assortment of angles and trajectories. Small smoke trails followed the rapid lines taken, and the Jedi would find impact coming from different angles. And to keep them busy - assuming tackling armored Gorba and Lirka weren't enough - Varm Nul continued to pepper their position with his acid-tipped slugs...

Gear: The Midnight Storm Swoopbike, Lotus Blossom Blaster, Riding Suit.
She was riding that swoopbike of her's like it owed her creds, that was for fething sure! Knuckles white under the gloves of her riding suit, spike heel boots on the footpegs, toe-tapping the brake, activating side-thrusters to swerve in-between speeders, pedestrians, buildings, garbage scows, you name it. Saraiya Darkstar was not gonna get caught up by this frag-fest above their heads, you could bet your sweet arse on that fact. Yet, as she sped along like wildfire, a familiar face caught her eye as she rounded a corner down into an alleyway.

Kicking hard on the inertia-brake and killing the thrust from the main engine, she slowed down pretty damn fast, and slid the swoopbike only a meter or two from that very familiar face. Tapping the side of her helmet, the visor retracted upward, and her blue eyes were wide. Not someone she thought she'd see down here in the 1313, but hey, considering the absolute chit-show that was erupting all around them, she put nothing to fate tonight.
"Ragos?? What the feth are you doing down here? No, don't bother.." she held a hand up, shaking her head. "Same as me, I'd bet. Ain't safe down here right now. Way more than usual, actually."

She sat on the swoopbike, tapping at the touch-screen in front of her, looking at her readouts. Bike was performing perfectly, as she expected it would. No overheating, nothing in the red, all was well. That refit was most definitely the best creds she'd spent in a long, long time, and tonight she was glad she had. Tapping a touch-button on the side, a small compartment opened up. Reaching down, she pulled a datapad out, and tapped away. "I have no damn clue what's going on, but maybe we can find out, yanno? See why it's turning into an absolute war zone out of nowhere." she said, looking to Ragos with a bit of concern on her face. Sure, she wanted to make sure she made her creds, like anyone else down here. But creds were no use to corpses, that's for fething sure.

Chaos and confusion had breached Their territory. Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred was closer and quicker, firing before Raven could square a proper aim at the sudden hostile. She lowered her pistol as the rifleman collapsed, returning a nod of appreciation at Jay. Warily, she stepped over to inspect the body. Predatory thug or paranoid civilian, hard to tell.

It was his kill. His loot. Raven stooped down and held out the fallen rifle for Jay to take. She had no need for another, burdened by enough gear on her shoulders.

Then her comm sounded. Orders from Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae , regrouping the recon team. Raven and Jay were to lead the way to The Family's spice factory. The mission was back on track.

"Ladies first," she smirked, before bolting on ahead of Jay. Her HUD drew up a basic road map of the surrounding area as she sprinted along. Noting the quickest footpaths to the factory, her pace would slacken, falling behind her partner.

"Go on. I'll take the high way." Rounding the nearest corner, she hopped and swung from pipe to platform, cutting cross-country across the rooftops. Together she and Jay could scout air and ground, her bird's eye watching his back below. Giving directions as needed, as they navigated the streets.

Her HUD zoomed in on several airspeeders, narrowing her eyes at them. Some of the passengers were...questionable. Perhaps friends of that rifleman Jay had shot down. For where there was one thug, more were bound to follow.

Kingsley

intergalactic bird of mystery
Kingsley could hardly believe his luck when the disgusting zeltron's speeder bike caught fire. He lifted his beak in a hysteric cackle. 1313 hurtled past at high speed and the smuggler basked in pleasing winds on his feathers. Coruscant burned around him in an anarchy he thrived upon. Gorba probably needed his help, but the bird couldn't resist taunting Yula's apparent misfortune.

"See you on the dark side-oh shit!"

Her kamikaze speeder clipped his swoop. Kingsley slammed into another vehicle, forcing it to crash and nearly losing control himself. His head was spinning, and he was no mechanic, but he was pretty sure swoop engines weren't supposed to sound like that. Talons slammed on the pedals, but the smuggler was still bleeding speed.

"Rrrraaawwk! Worthless pile of scrap."

One glance behind turned Kinglsey's blood to ice. There she was, perched on the lawman's speeder like some vicious creature unleashed from a Hutt's menagerie. Loose fry dangling in her hair. Yula's driver seemed like she was enjoying the chase as much as he'd been while their passenger looked as terrified as he was now. Worse yet, they were now gaining on him. Talons groped for the dwindling sack of thermal detonators. He primed one, then tossed it blind over his shoulder.

Jay looked at Raven as Star sent the message, but then he heard it, and his eyes went a bit wide. How the.... For osik's sake! Should he have really been surprise. Star and Mig were vod..., but still he didn't take off his helmet much.... Wait wasn't she Force sensitive too.... He was really over thinking this. Solus and Gred were close as clans, along with Tal, and he had to guess he couldn't hide from his past forever, but right now!? Was the Manda, or Force, or something else playing some sort of joke on him? Jai just took a breath. If he didn't have explaining to do he'd have to see about talking to Stardust later... and.... He just focused. Mission first. Internal crisis later.

He nodded a bit as Raven said she'd go high, while he stuck to running around on the ground. As he went, a thug quickly tried to clock him, but yeesh did this guy telegraph. He ducked, pulling out a vibroknife before going for a reversed stab.

"If this is about your buddy just don't." He quickly pulled the blade back before going to turn a....

Wham!

Frakking seriously!? This time he just glared, quickly drawing the Mite and firing a slug. He wasn't dealing with some fistfight right now, and this guy was way too eager.

"Got held up for a second. Catching up. Apparently Mr. Rifleman had a friend." Jai hid the Mite again before getting back to running. He had to get the factory after all.

"Hey, Val. Good to see you again, how's Vera?"

The Zeltron switched from manic to casual with unsettling ease, one hand gripping the seat's head rest for stability as Valery punched the speed. A witchy cackle ripped from her lips as Kingsley struggled to gain control of his swoop after slamming into another rider. Fortunately, Valery's quick reflexes saw them out of the way of Kinglsey's thermal detonator. The device struck a holoboard, causing an advertisement for Kwarg's Noodle House to erupt in flames.

The agent cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled to Kinglsey. "Slow down. I want to switch!"

Yula levied her severe gaze on the Farghul as a wild spark reclaimed her eyes. She snatched the fry dangling near her face and chewed on it with unhinged vigor.

"Good idea!"
The Zeltron shoved either arm beneath the intelligence operative's armpits and dragged him upwards. "Cats eat birds, right?" With a hefty grunt and some solid help from the Force, Yula would attempt to grant the agent's wish and send him sailing through the dank Coruscant air, heading for Kingsley's decrepit swoop.

Lyrrin shot a glance at Valery who was dismissing his, in his mind, very real concerns "I said we should've hit him with the speeder. What are we above running criminals over now?" then he felt hands under his armpits which made him clamped down on them "Hey!" he exclaimed in alarm as Yula lifted him from his seated position "Get off me lady!" Lyrrin struggled against her grip only to find himself being flung through the air towards the cackling purple avian who was still wrecking the throughway.

With a thump and groan Lyrrin had landed on the back of Kingsley's speeder with his hands gripping at the man's form and the vehicle to maintain his balance "She threw me!" the Farghul seemed both indignant and shocked. In a moment he realized where he was and gave Kingsley's arm a tug "Hey friend. I don't want us to wreck so could you just pull over and we can put you in cuffs?" he tried to negotiate. The last thing Lyrrin wanted was to be flung to a painful end if the driver was to lose control of his notoriously swift vehicle. Especially since Lyrrin didn't have any sort of protective gear for riding... though it is unlikely any gear even existed to protect against such incidents.

Lyrrin didn't take his eyes off Kingsley as his grip tightened around the shoulder of the guy if he had successfully gotten a grip on him in the first place.

"You got room on that mutha sucka?" He asked Sara about her swoop. He agreed with her that chit was way more wild down here than on average. He was also sure what she was thinking cuz he was in the same chit. There were credits to be made out of this situation and if they had balls and brains enough to go for it, they would be the ones that came out ahead.

Sara was alright people in Ragos' book. She was from round the way, in and around the same hoods as Ragos. Once or twice they'd been at the same chit on the block, a party or whatever was going on, shared a spliff on occasion, if business had to go through her auntie shop, Ragos would see to it personally for Esty's sake more than Sara's but that was just one more time the two would interact. Not to mention the crazy Karking speeder chaser they had been in the very first time they'd met.

"Let's go make some credits."

"Vera is great!" Valery called out to Yula with a smile.

That excited grin, however, briefly faded when she watched Yula yoink Lyrrin out of his seat. But when she threw him over to Kingsley's speeder, it was impossible to suppress a bit of laughter. She knew Lyrrin would land safely, and that he was very capable of handling these types himself. Still, she didn't quite trust the weird creature they were after, and his ability to control the speeder after everything that happened already.

"I'm bringing us closer," she told Yula as a result, and slowly but surely, she began to close in. Valery then brought her speeder to the side of Kingsley's vehicle that Lyrrin was on, just in case he'd fall or needed an escape. "Get him, Lyrrin!" She called out, now completely unable to help him.

If they tried anything too dangerous, they would endanger the Farghul.

Travelling on foot soon posed a greater risk than expected, Jay running into more hurdles on the ground than she. A few rounds of her pistol did naught to conceal her presence in the buildings above, though it did serve as ample distraction for enemy scopes, helping Jay to take them out and clear his path. At this rate, they would drain themselves both of energy and ammo before they reached the factory. Eyeing the skylane ahead, Raven diverted her course, determined to get them both out of this rut.

"Sixth Street's in front of you," she rattled out urgently, panting at full sprint into her comm. "Go left. Forty meters, turn right on East Main. Northbound'll take you straight there. Don't wait up for me."

With a final grunt, she sprung off the ledge, sticking the landing on the hood of an oncoming airspeeder. "Pull over." She pointed the nose of her pistol at the petrified driver.

A moment of dead silence passed as Jay was left alone to find his way, nothing but static on Raven's channel, until her voice crackled to life again.

"On your left." An airspeeder swooped down, Raven in the driver's seat, as close as she could squeeze in to where Jay was. "Hop in."

With or without him, she would hit the throttle, making a beeline for the factory as she bypassed the skylane and broke free of traffic. Now was as good of a time as any to report in. "Raven to Solus. Hostiles in sector Q-10." She kept one eye on her HUD map. "ETA to factory, one minute."
