In Commemoration of the Galactic Alliance's triumphant restoration of Coruscant to its proud democratic and free heritage, Tharek Barbarossa, owner of the Private Bank the Golden Cypress and generous community leader of lower Coruscant Slums wishes to invite the Galactic Alliance Officials, Soldiers, Leaders; the People of Coruscant and anyone else to a grand block party held at one of Barbarossa's Roof Top Gala Houses for drinks, merriment, celebration and remembrance.

So just created this Corellian Don character, and as the old adage goes "keeps your friends close, and the new management in your pocket." I'd like to use this event to debut him onto the scene. Unlike other archetypes of criminals that I could have gone - Tharek Barbarossa is a family man, a community leader and a Don of the people. Even though I plan to turn him into a ruthless mafiosa, he genuinely cares for the poor folk (even though he exploits them >_>). I imagine him as a socialite with the backing of the people, and the ire of the government. Galactic Alliance folks are more than welcome to come and talk to him and get to know him. They all really shouldn't know he is a Don, of course they can hear rumors. But, I would very much be open to any shady business or corrupting/favours the like if that is a plot point future politicians would like to try out.
Besides that I just want him to gain a bit of reputation as a kind man on the face of things also elevate his network. And finally, just RP and have fun with everyone - it is a debut after all.
